🛑As always thanks for watching!Let me know what you guys think about the Fuji X-Pro3. Are you holding out for a possible release of the X-Pro4? Or are you more a fan of the X100 series!? If you enjoyed the video please hit the like button and drop a comment, it really helps the channel! Thanks!
Do yourself a favor and grab the 23 f2 'fujicron'. The 18 f2 is meh of a lens. It's the oldest lens in the lineup and leaves much to be desired. That said, I typically mount a 35mm 0.95 Mitakon Speedmaster to it and it's beautiful!! Heavy, but beautiful. (the 23 f2 is tiny and weather sealed).
@@ry1sfly I originally thought I loved the 18mm but there are definitely better options. I’ve been enjoying this MF 7 artisans lens but it is missing the weather sealing smh. The 35mm Mitakon looks great but the 50mm equivalent is a little too tight for me. Do they make a 23mm as well? By the way, thanks for the advice!
@@DevDooley Hey Dev, not that I am aware of.. I only know if this lens because I saw it highly reviewed and got it cheap! Its almost glue to my XP3 now... If I want to shoot more street/environment the 23 f2 comes out. If you are more a wide angle person (and have the $$ laying around), I hear the fuji 16mm f1.4 is the best X mount lens ever made... So if you can muster up the cost, try one out!
For a long time I settled on using the (very affordable) TT Artisan 23mm f1.4 manual lens for my street photography but 3 months ago I bought the Voigtlander Ultron 27mm f2.0 which is tiny and lightweight yet super sharp for its lack of glass! Anyways I would just caution against folding out that view screen beyond 90 degrees. It’s known that the ribbon cable (connecting that screen) is somewhat brittle and folding that screen down beyond a Right Angle will probably shorten its lifespan! Just for info!
Thanks Colin! I'm thinking of getting another 23mm lens that actually has contact points that connect to the camera. The lens I use now is basically like a vintage lens so the Voigtlander Ultron would be a good one to try out next! I've seen a few video and forums talking about the screen as well. Hopefully my XPro will last me years to come and if I need any repairs hopefully it's not too expensive lol
@@DevDooley I also registered my X-pro3 with Fuji (just in case) as that’s a prerequisite for them carrying out any repairs . . . . I have also heard of instances where Fuji have carried out the screen replacement free of charge 🤷
Goodluck finding one in 2024. I bought this camera in 2021 and paid $2300 (CAD). I've had offers of over $3000 to sell it. It's like fine piece of art that wont depreciate.

I just recently bought mine for 1600 USD It was honestly the best deal I could find. And exactly, the camera just feels like Art itself lol
