There is only one throttle setting - full afterburners.
Perfect throttle setting for takeoff
That damned FRONT FLIP caught me off guard LOL
His exploits are so legendary that despite him exceeding the 300 ft mark, the enemy radar didn't detected him. Truly the best there is.
0:01 love that Taco Bell sound from Top Gun
The mission was almost impossible with all those SAM and SU 57 around.
SAM-3 wont have that manuever and they arent damn they would've been dead in real life within 5 seconds but hey its jus a movie
@@コリツァコリツァ-r5b yep. SAM 3 has a minimum range of around 3 km. They could've also used F 35 instead of the Super Hornet and HARM missiles to take out the SAM sites but as you said mate: it's a movie (a damn good one too) and not a documentary.
Oh, this music... Just one first note evokes such emotions
Just watched the movie last night, freaking badass all the way through. I still think Maverick should have died in the end, would have made for a much more deeper film, but a happy ending was welcomed as well.
Tom Cruise has bean trying to die literally and figuratively in film for decades and still hasn't succeeded.
It would ahve hit different seeing the hero fighting unimaginable odds but succeeding despite dying
But US films dont like dead hero in movies it wad good still
FAILED, “you crashed now the 5th gen fighters intercepted your whole team”
As a self identifying FA-18 jet, I'd like to commend you for your excellent flying.
who needs thrust vectoring jet engines when your fighter jet is litteraly indestructible
I loved when Maverick said "ok, we are in the Top Gun now", right after pulling similar maneuver
Watched it today and it was so good, still sad about goose in the 1st one
Also how did maverick and rooster (can’t forget hangman) manage to destroy gen 5 fighters
Rip iceman. I loved this film, I really did can’t stress how much I like it. 👍
They were wearing their plot armor lol. Mav and Rooster would both be toast irl.
1. Preemption 2. Pure skill 3. Preemption
When did Hangman destroy one? I think you're thinking of the helicopter which is very much not a jet lol.
@@Taima Hangman saved them at the end shooting down the 3rd fighter. Rooster shot down the Helicopter. Maverick killed 2 Fighters. One by surprise.
@@Taima I think you're confused my guy
0:34 he is moving in a way that minimizes the damage even when he is hit
Is that pixy?👀
wait...
is that a ace of combat refrence..?!?!?
Wow, if that is the crash damage in Microsoft flight simulator I'm glad I stick to dcs
Microsoft flight simulator is not a combat simulator
@@statingtheobvious8119 that doesn't mean it shouldn't have damage models
@@szymonkasperczak6705 It doesn’t need damage physics for what it’s designed for though. If players want damage physics they should look at the people who create add-on planes since you it’s hard to make a damage model that suits all add-on planes
Seems like an incomplete SIM without damage model something I would not pay for
If you don't turn off crash "physics" you just get a black screen saying that you crashed
0:32 "Its NOT the Plane sir. Its the PILOT"
If youtube ever gets rid of the comment section there will be an uprising
He showed all 3 units of army
1. Airforce
2. Land - 0:33
3. Sea - 0:37
what
@@MsFrostitute are you restarted?
It would appear the S.A.M sites on the hilltops got to you first. Must’ve went above the target altitude and was picked up on radar
Front flip with an F18, what a master.
World Record Any%: Fastest F18 Landing Trick On The Slope Of Any Mountain
- Zero Death
- Max After Burner
- Calm Weather
The flight system from MSFS looks like it was made by an unskilled developer, damn. This is why there are more Top gun RUclips videos on DCS than MSFS.
well also because there is no actual combat in MSFS
Yep. DCS way better!
@@ATP-Flo I've been playing dcs for 2 weeks and had more fun on that than MSFS in a year
His exploits are legendary …. Hitting the ground without even exploding! Hee Hah! Mav’s still alive!
Occasionally keeps breaking sound barrier
