I was wanting to hold the baby and talk with him 🥰😇 as I was watching the video, but I didn't think to write that. ♡ I love babies, and children in general. ♡ It is fun to watch them learn and grow.
I think ESTJ makes more sense. I live in a family of ISTJs and have ISTJ friends and while Im sure that interests are unique to people, I know that none of them really care if they ever leave the house and breathe in fresh air lol And I know Deanna makes a point of getting out of the house from your previous videos.
I think that the arguments you made for Deanna actually being an ESTJ are quite strong. As an ISTJ, whenever I do take charge of a situation, it does tend to be in a slower and more tentative fashion unless it is a situation where I feel more comfortable, i.e., somewhat specific scenarios I've been in tons of times before. As for using lower functions to help determine the difference between two types, that makes sense and I do that a fair amount in my typing of myself and others. From my own perspective, it is quite clear that my Fi occupies a larger amount of my consciousness than my Ne. I also had a long time ESTJ friend whose use of her Ne (seemingly often in tandem with her Te) was much more obvious and more than a bit different/optimistic than my usage of it. So yeah, what's more prominent, Ne or Fi seems to be a logical question here. One more thing: me and my friend were similar enough that I originally had thought she was also an ISTJ until I realized that there's no way she could be an introvert due to her ability to respond instantly to anything anyone ever said to her unless it was the extremely rare occasion she was too emotionally stunned to do so. Combined with her overt Ne above made her type quite clear to me after reflection.
I am an INTJ and I do the same thing as Deanna. I have no need to lead. But if the things are not moving, I force things to start moving. And I get a special treatment because of it like Deanna does. I also sometimes make a guess about something technical, only as a thing to start for somebody else to investigate. And when I later ask to get updated on it, some third person just repeats my initial guess. This is probably why INTJs and ISTJs are so sceptical about generally accepted claims. Most of it are probably just guesses that ITJs made up on the spot but being very confident about it.
Certain phases of life can alter the usual framework of our functions. I'm not kidding here, but today I retook the test and I score INFP, I understand where the result comes from because of my current circumstances I'm quite demotived and I'm dwelling way too much on my Fi. I have not much intellectual stimulation, the only thing that I keep doing is practising my ENG via YT. As for Deanna, she might overuse some of her functions resulting in her type being temporary altered due to the parenting.
You need to ask yourself is deanna making decisions based on people or place. There is critical of only one of these, in priority. The example I use in my own head is this. Is she the knife blade or the handle? Both ESTJ/ISTJ cut ,but can only be one, to make manageable the task at hand.
To my previous message (and one video attached to it). Comparing the two it is clear that Deanna shows extroverted dynamics - Stepping up, focused on acting much more, doing less thinking through and preparing for decisions. For introvertes a bit of procrastination is their main feature, as they first process internally and only then act out. This is such a huge point it can't be overlooked. And if we compared ISTJ to INTJ - How could the later fall short towards acting spontaneously, trying new approaches, so on? We should remember about this common knowledge also. Because with this your ISTJ person would appear even more rigid and unwilling to act before planning things carefully (together with being locked on their own approach rigidly). As you both said, with ,you two dynamics are different. It's hardly just about the job environment.
Does Deanna dress comfortable casual (ISTJ) at work? Or to the corporate 9's (ESTJ). For the record, ESTJ seen to always get in my last nerve, with their ego as Deanna mentioned, and it's like nails on a chalk board for me to tolerate being around them / listen to them. I generally enjoy ISTJ conversation because they're low key dorks like me. That's my 3 cents worth.
As Briggs Notes in Gifts differing : " The introverts types can often be mistaken for their counterpart when presenting the auxiliary function" Parenting give more work to do, It make sense you both use more often Te in this period. What about you ? Are you actually an ENTJ ? Ahah I knew an ISTJ woman at a job, she managed the schedules, the payroll, the organization of events, many various administrative tasks. confident, convincing, supportive, a little pushy sometimes. She always seemed sure of herself and convinced in her way of speaking, that practically everyone would believe her or obey her. (in a tone which could say : you have no choice, you are forced to do it) Much like when an INTJ gives advice, a huge portion of people would follow the advice. (but in a tone which could say : you have choice, no one force you) ISTJ seems more insistent, more impactful, while the INTJ would be more of an advisor. Ni doubt, Si is sure, Ni more flexible, Si more structured ? ISTJ impose, INTJ propose ? Does the the magic of life, try to create a balance between children and parents functions, in order to improve the parents ? (That the parents should learn from the children to be better with themselves and others) Exemple : parents are INTJ & ISTJ, the child is ESFP . Baby : "I am here to help you to use more your Se Fi", "hello introverts I am extrovert and I will give you work to do, let's balance each other, and learn from each other" Take care of yourself.
They haven't mentioned any sign of extrovert dymanics in the father. With this whole video there is no sign towards him being anything different. So no. Her on the other hand, of course. Suspicion here is normal. When you compare ISTJ and INTJ - Since when the first one shows more openness to new approaches, has a more elastic planning/acting behavior (open to someone else's approach). If anything ISTJ stick to their own approach rigidly, and have issues with new things much more. For introversion. Based on what they said it's not just parenting or anything else. They basically said that he is processing everything internally deeply before deciding to act - and that she processes internally more briefly, and is focused on acting much more. To not argue about nothing in w pointless manner - Here is a detailed video explaining this issue carefully. Maybe if you don't resonate with my Te this piece of knowledge may di the job. Hello D&J. I just started looking into this. From what i understand you can change you Letter for a short time. It take more energy, So people do not do it as much. I was told i'm ISTJ. Like Deanna, And we are a lot of like. Told we use history we know to find the best way you get the job done, like her i just know. I do love History. Don't know why until i stop and think about it. They say changing a letter why the test dose not fit everyone first time. Need someone train or know to help be better.
ruclips.net/video/46ELXazFTVY/видео.html I think it's pretty obvious, comparing you two. And I saw her agreeing to your descriptions. Reason why she may feel introverted is most likely the following - Te and Fe are on one spectrum. If you have a lot of one, the later gets quite hard. So socially she is most likely not extraverted at all. Her thinking expression and personality is, but her social nature is not. She won't be a social butterfly, and may get tired when there are too many people with all their emotional matters around. I think the best way to make her accept this possibly more is to let her conclude this on her own. This is why I recommend you videos, especially one from above. / Edit: I wanted to mention two other cases. Of my ESFP brother and my partner's ESTP sister. Both if them are extraverted, but their social interactions are focused on fun and playing mostly. If things get more emotional and serious they are a bit clueless and want to withdraw (both of them). My brother's emotional landscape is private and intenral, so he especially doesn't like such things. And her sister thought of herself as introverted also - But we all ended up concluding what I explained. Now it's much more clear (and everyone is both introverted & extraverted after all).
Is no one going to mention the cute baby? This audience is very committed to type.

another way to determine whether shes estj/istj would be does she recharge by being alone or by socialising
51% of the time its yoga or going to the gym, but yet there are other people there. So I think I'd say alone but it's unclear.
