Introverted Intuition (Ni) is Strategic SORCERY... ... ... as the world has of yet to know our secret. Carl Jung was very very close. I'm fed up with Ni's overactive imagination and all off its "Could be"...as well as feeling out of body every moment of the day...but, I obsess over its strategy. Being a WIZARD is interesting...and unsettling.
I didn't decide to quit watching sports. It just slowly dropped off until I recently realized that I wasn't watching anymore nor reading up on it.
Life is so much more interesting when you realize that everything was created by an eternal mind that is so much more powerful, intelligent, wise and creative than you can possibly imagine. I look at everything in creation with the sort of awe and appreciation that an art connoisseur has when he looks at his favorite painting, sculpture, etc. I'm in awe and deeply appreciate both the artwork of the universes we live in and the artist who created them. God created all humans. We are His masterpiece. He made everything in such interesting and complex ways from the atomic level right up to the galactic level. That includes us humans. We are a masterpiece of design that is endlessly fascinating. The fact that we can be fascinated by the world around us - both the way it is naturally and by the ways we can alter it to express our own creativity - and don't just go through the motions of existing the way that the other creatures do is a miracle in itself. We'll never fully understand everything. Even the things we have thought we understood fully at one point in history turned out not to be quite right and were disproven later on. Everyone has faith in something or someone. I've been let down by everything that I've tried to have faith in at some point in my life except God. What is interesting about MBTI and other personality theories is that they are human attempts to develop systems or models for trying to simplify something that is incredibly complex like human personality enough that many people can talk with each other about and attempt to understand it. I forget who, but I think someone once said that it is ironic that one of the hardest things in the world to understand is our own brains. I love studying just about anything and the more complex and difficult to figure out that it is, the better. I was raised in a Christian home and neighborhood, so it's my culture. Even after going to a four year college and studying natural resource management, which is a rather holistic study of all of the natural sciences and their practical applications in almost any human endeavor - mining, farming, forestry, gardening, landscaping, wildlife habitat restoration, city planning etc. etc., I continue to be a Christian because Christianity and Judaism are fascinating things to study. Also, the Judeo Christian worldview is indeed compatible with science and is a valid 'lens' if you will for looking at the world. Everyone looks at the world through the lens of their culture and beliefs. Even atheists have a belief system and worldview that effects how they see the world. It's wonderful, Kristin, that people have been so understanding and respectful to you. That's great. I love how you explain your faith in this video. I'm glad to see it. Thank you so much, Joe, for having this interview and sharing it with us! I really appreciate it. All of the books of the Bible are wonderful in their own way, but some are easier and more enjoyable to read than others. Leviticus isn't honestly a page turner, but I do enjoy reading Corinthians.
I’d never question a leader’s competence or authority for making a single mistake or not “being as smart as I am”. I question it when someone is given authority in an area they have no experience/education in or understanding of and then dismiss me as wrong without being able to communicate why or how. If my role requires 10 years of experience as a subject matter expert and you’re appointed as a supervisor and come in with no experience and completely unrelated background and all you have is authority to throw around while also being short sighted and dismissive, you’re probably incompetent. If you’re dictating processes you can’t explain or don’t understand to someone who’s perfected their craft and you ignore their input or feedback, you’re probably incompetent. If you don’t understand what my role is or how it relates to the overall goal, yet you’re blindly answering arrogantly making decisions about my role, you’re probably incompetent. If I point out a preventable or avoidable error and you dismiss me until it blows up in your face, you’re probably incompetent. Basically: if you’re a barber who’s trying to tell the tax attorney you hired that they’re wrong about the area of tax law, you’re off base.
A child is an amalgamation of two peoples pairing and theoretical love child/ passion baby . Why would i put such a precious creature in this world? 😅 I also like planned well thought out decisions

ISTJ here. I agree with some of Jungs theories that are incompatible with faith, because I find him more credible than the bible.
possibly if you used less filler sounds and feelings
Se is extremely important. Se is showing your direct reports that you're mentally there during 1:1s, side conversations, or when they vent about an issue so they know that they're being heard. Se is when you take the heat off of them when talking to people higher level than them so they know you got their back. Se is making a huge deal about their accomplishments 1:1 or in front of other people so they feel like their work has meaning. Se is always having an upbeat attitude when they talk to you so that they don't feel like an idiot asking you a question or that they feel like they belong. Se is making them feel heard and that they care. Of course you can use other functions to do the same but Se has a warmth to it that other functions don't.
Never heard of Se being described as warm before. Can you describe what this warmth is like a bit more? I'm trying to wrap my head around it.
I'm an INTJ and my boyfriend is also an INTJ and I wanna have children with him in the future 😂 and he also agrees having kids after marriage
Managing by Expectations is how I'd envision myself to operate (for the most part) once I have that level of power over others. It just makes more sense to prioritize the solution of a problem than to attempt to dictate the procedure. Micromanagement is hard to justify in most cases. I have had personal doubts about Elon being an INTJ, just from superficial assessment. The way he goes about being a boss is questionable. There's an apparent carelessness (and callousness) that I find antithetical to the type.
Yeah, IDGAF about the minute details of menial tasks. What matters is that it gets out of the way as soon as possible whenever I get around to deciding to finally undertake it. *I* decide the procedure according to my best judgment if it's important, or unconscious instinct if it's unimportant, so that like him I can turn my mental focus inward elsewhere while I'm doing something boring like loading a dishwasher. Such a waste of time and attention to try to be mentally present for something unpleasant like that.
_I think INTJ can be good boss, If they have integrated/developed the other functions (considering that other may have different perception, care of their individual well being, that we are all differents, different way of thinking or doing), otherwise with only Ni Te developed (immature) they can be horrible, expecting others to be/do like them. Ex (immature, not receptive): An INTJ manager expected everyone to understand very quickly like him. Ex (mature, open) : An INTJ manager, she taught me what to do, and after she let me do, trusted me. _With their Ni dom, they will tend to not see the hierarchy (Si), consider everyone equal, as if we were all coworkers, collaborators. A cool thing with an INTJ boss, is that after people/employees are independent - It would be draining after a time to always watch and check if people do their job correctly. _INTJ with Fi developed are wonderful : more listening & compassion for others. Interesting that you see Si in Elon Musk, like a friend saw Si in me. Because of Asperger Syndrome (that Elon Musk also has), we have a good attention to details, notice details others don't, and we can even be stubborn about it. Joe you are surely a wonderful boss ! ⭐ After watching the video, I put the x2 for fun, just to experience x4 for the first time 🥰😆
INTJ 1w9- I don’t like managing people, I don’t like telling people what to do, I don’t like controlling people. That being said, I do enjoy growing people. This forces me out of my zone and makes me face those obstacles mentioned above. Part of that growth is placing them in positions they possess a natural inclination toward. Another part is placing them in situations that are not so natural to them. Sales and marketing I’m naturally good at myself, but I don’t like selling things. _If_ I do sell something to someone it’s because I foresee the thing benefiting the person either immediately (usually monetarily) and or for a time to come. But it MUST benefit THEM. Good video, good topic. The fast bits threw the video and message off a little though. Keep it up!
True for me as well - hate selling when the person doesn't need what im selling.
Yeah I've been interested in this topic.
what say you then?
@@GhostofJung That Ni users make better bosses.
agreed
Go ahead, ask me.
Se has to do with image management so if you are a leader looking the part would be important and related to Se.
ok there you go! Could not figure it out. So I do dress the part as well as I never dress down
@@GhostofJung I remembered one of your past videos talking about how to dress. I imagined since you were on top of that subject it might have been easy for you to overlook the fact you had that part of yourself covered already when you became a manager.
dont know if everyone is experiencing it but he is speaking really fast even when my youtube playback speed is set to normal.

@@GhostofJung I set youtube speed to .5 and it was normalish
@@GhostofJung I watch everything on 2x speed and would use 3x speed if it was available. I appreciate the timesaving that speeding up one's own video gives. I'm an INTJ.
I wanted a video on Extroverts and this video came up…an excellent “nail on the head” description of what we introverts must deal with occasionally. It’s funny…I know an extrovert at work who has an extremely bad habit of bragging. He will tell me about all the fights he got into in his life and he won all of them….he said everyone in his neighborhood knows he’s a dangerous man…I just roll my eyes as well as the other coworkers. I can imagine he’d be more likely to back down from a fight in reality. Honesty some extroverts are made fun of behind their backs for their bragging or ridiculous stories of their supposed heroism. 🙄
Persona is more form than mask. This realization has allowed me to feel more authentic in public. The objective is not to decieve as with a mask, but to form something desirable from a kaleidescope of possible.
I’m disillusioned by the truth. Because I believed an illusion. In other words I have been healing from delusion.
In response to your final question: it seems to me that the issues brought up in this video could all also be caused by an accident or stroke or something. In each case, what you built your life around is challenged, and you are faced with letting go of ambitions. And it is a time when you are offered the chance to look at what ultimately matters to you with a clear perspective. So there’s a fork in the road where you can take one path trying to make the world bend to your will, and to suffer for it. Or to take the other path and surrender to what you do acknowledge matters most and give up the smaller things.
15:54 just admit you were wrong (about your plan and how your life would turn out) . That seems easier
10:32 “What I used to love, I now hate. What I used to hate, I now love.” And, kill your ego while you’re at it.
I don’t think you understand INFP’s, in full. Of course we see the need for limitation on harmful groups or people. We seek authenticity, but part of that is truth seeking what’s true along with the values. Tired of the misunderstanding.
I can DEFINITELY confirm this. Happily married to another intj and conspiracy theories are one of our favorite topics of discussion (along with true crime documentaries)
I’m an intj-A my experience since I’m emotionally disconnected I find extrovert extremely dull cause they care about feelings being fake / superficial cause they will agree with everything and not have their own opinion or if they do Its similar yours which is they can’t think for themselves and constantly seek approval from others to be happy which bugS me they should just do what is right not make an show to show the world how great liars they are, I like people to be authentic, but it’s sad to say this most people are ego driven dumbasses who always want to put their two cents in after an intj speaks agreeing with them then changing things slightly so they think they are smart, I find idiots unbelievably annoying that’s why I come up with weapon systems so I can eliminate most of these mindless eaters whom just seek to annoy me an try to ignore my brilliant nature to make themselves look cool after stealing my ideas. It’s sad to say this being smart is rare and being an good friend is almost impossible almost everyone is an fake friend looking for ways to exploit others for their own benefit like the sage saying only friends betray you, this is why I don’t have friends nor speak to my family because they seek to control not to listen. Which a true friend wants you to live your life not tell you what to do.
Real INTJs do not exploit things. They acquire knowledge. Exploiting has a dishonest context, something sane INTJs do not find ethical therefore will not do it. INTJs do not work for the money or success, they work for the knowledge. Think about "Shape of my heart" from Sting.
I brought a CO2 meter to my office meeting room and it got to over 3000ppm, which makes people unable to think effectively. The facilities department got very annoyed when I pointed this out to them....?
SFP's and NTJ's are very similar - more than this INTJ is recognising
In England we can get away with "yeah good" or "yeah not bad" and then ask them the same question for small talk. That's usually enough.
Nah, we just have stupid rainbow glasses.....
How dare you
I am an ESTJ 6w7, part of my anarchic nature comes from my Ne 3rd slot function and Fi grip, which comes in childish ways to propose actions i feel [Fi 4th Slot] works the most universally [Te 1st Slot].
I found that the worst and most impractical, yet most entertaining philosophy came from Nietzche, believe or not. In terms of philosophy, not to sound arrogant, but I don't believe I need to read the philosophies of others. I find I can create my own and mainly through experiencing life, building skills, knowing what works then deeply contemplating it for days, weeks months, and even years. I've been doing it this way since I was a kid. And relying on my own philosophies (by my own I mean ones I came to on my own instead of adopting it from a book) has always helped and when I try to pick it up from others it never works.
Great video I like this topic -Solomon
I love curse.. so lt's okay 💁🏻♀️
Give us a difficult task that needs out of the box thinking or alternatives, and let us be... were not getting paid to make other people around us feel good, we're there to deliver results... and we're very good at it.... intjs dont care about glory or credit, they care about impact and efficiency
as an 23 year old INTJ I entered the collage that I am in with translation studies. this was because of my mother. after 2 years I changed departments to Linguistics. amazing area of study but I'm not an INTP so its too theoretical and my uni lacks applied focused profs. I will graduate this year to seek a career in art and culture (art history archiving or maybe museums etc.) since I already know TOO MUCH about history of religions as well as art, symbolism, ancient civilizations and occult lol. my original goal was to find what was a human like before capitalism and rationality but it got too far. I'm not complaining tho. at the end, to be a valuable employee, it's not the value of your knowledge. it's your amount of knowledge and how to differ from other competitors. in other words, it's not what you know but it is how much do you know and is it enough to be the %1 among the other ones that studies in the area. so at the end you will always be most likely to work in the area that you cannot stop learning about. edit: I think philosophy is not the blueprint but the framework or foundation which you will derive your actions from.
I dove into philosophy as a counterweight to the curriculum that my major drove. I think it was helpful in the sense of problem solving and the efforts associated. It really depends on the level of conviction. Applied theory is a very unique atena. With regard to stoicism that makes sense with you.
What philosophy/er did you like best? yeah - stoicism didn't push me to do anything better or improve myself
@GhostofJung I started at the birthplace and found good stuff in Plato and Platonism as well as Socrates and the Socratic Method. Later on dove into Eastern philosophy to better understand conflict with self and others.
Q : Did you ever discover that philosophy that you decided : this is me. A : When I read some Buddha quotes in a book about mindfulness, I was thinking : this is me, I think the same. Buddhism is probably the closest to me. For College, _my first wish was : "digital creation" but I didn't get accepted _I got accepted in DUT (university diploma of technology) in computer science : I gave up after 6 months. _Later, I went to where I was good at : Arts (plastic arts), whereas I wanted Design. The first days, almost all students in Arts, we would like to be in Arts-Design, but they had to separate us in 2 different promos : Art-Design & plastic Arts. One of the subjects/classes was: "philosophy of art" Even if this Master in Art didn't really help me to get a job, I don't regret it at all. I have an atypical journey, that you could think I am Ne dom 😆
Long awaited. Also, quite a requited sentiment. I took an artistic direction earlier in life when I was more naturally inclined towards social sciences. As far as personal philosophy, I find more value in producing ideas than in consuming them.
Now. Here's a challenge. What makes this a very Ti statement.
Love it Albury. Such a classic response from an obvious [insert type] that you are!
@@mauritsbol4806im sure you’re aware as to why I can’t answer this, however I’ll defer the responsibility on to you my good friend.
Completely understand where you’re coming from as I once dated an istp. Answering questions in a summary-based manner seems not sufficient for some of them I suppose. Lol😂
I related to almost all of this as an ISTJ, however one thing I didn't relate to, and still don't quite understand about myself is that I looooove humor. I make subtle, cerebral jokes, I watch pretty much exclusively comedy YT channels, and I'm usually the first to get a joke even in the midst of N types. I don't understand it because I have the literal thinking of a stereotypical ISTJ in almost all other aspects! Maybe it's cause I was raised to appreciate humor or it's genuinely a gift, idk. Can anyone else relate?
i think you should change your perspective of your definition for Success, goal or target. i used to do that all my life but one thing i learned is instead of seeing your future success, or goal as a target to reach, you take them as just your direction/navigation. and instead you focus on doing and acomplishing those small actions and milestones you planned day in and day out to achieve that big success. When you accomplish these tasks you know will lead to your definition of success everyday, you feel like you are leaving that dream. for example, instead of setting your goal as 170 pounds and working towards that, which you know after you reach that goal you will lose motivation etc..... what you can do is set the 170 pound as the direction you are going then plan your action s as a 170 pound man do. the exercises, the eating plan etc. . . then you do these actions starting now. eventually your goal/target wont be the thing that will drive you.... its these small day to day task that will give you those things.
i haven't tried this method but it seems like it would work. "plan your actions as a 170 pound man would do" is a nice way to frame it.
@@GhostofJung good luck

The moon is definitely not a hologram - everybody now it's made of cheese. I'm an INTJ and used to scoff at conspiracy theories. I've been told in the past that I am simultaneously creative and with a stick up my arse. As I became more and more chill, and actually went on a personal rabbit hole to study something in depth and realise how easy it is that we get something completely wrong as a society, I'm open to virtually any conspiracy theory and see myself as somewhat vulnerable to them.
who puts money as their goal? that's weird
why not?
@@GhostofJung It's not about the money, it's about what it buys you.
I am an INTJ and I have an ESTJ manager. I don’t know why I feel like I always get into his nerves in my work. I have this impression now that the more I work hard on something the more I get questioned (like had I not noticed this or add this I won’t be questioned like this..). He’s different though with my ESFJ colleague, who performs just the right amount of job, never experienced that with him.
They talk to damn much.
