I lost you on this video buddy. INFJ and 55 yrs Male. My soul is worth everything. You are coming from your USA perspective that money and commerce is everything. I disagree on this one. But I still appreciate your point and still subscribed and look some your videos. Happy New Year's and Much Love to all!!❤

I often see Fe people misinterpret Fi perspective in this way. 😉
What Fi says: "I wouldn't sell my soul." = Trying to be respectful. Using "I wouldn't" instead "people shouldn't" to communicate that everyone might be different and have a different experience and/or perception of the world. Maybe other people like this kind of job and it fulfills them. Maybe they have no better options. So they try to say "I personally wouldn't, and I mean it as a suggestion of what might or might not work for you, because you are a different person. I'm not saying anything about you - you choose what is best for you, might be the opposite of me!".
How Fe interprets it: "I wouldn't sell my soul." = Omg, the Fi people always talk about themself. I, I, I... Any topic comes up, they always make it about themselves. "What I feel, what I would do in this situation, what I would buy..." They always think they are better than everyone else!

I don't mean it as critique, it's just that there was the scent of this misunderstanding of the Fi way of communication in your elaboration. There was this Fe girl who made a rant video about how her sister makes everything about herself when all she did was try to give her helpful suggestion in an Fi way (how she would solve the problem when she would be in her situation) and you reminded me of her.
Anyway, there's all kinds of people out there. Some enjoy the work. Some are indifferent. Some take it as a sacrifice they have to make to be able to live a meaningful life outside of the job. And then there are some who take it really badly to work a job that slowly chips away from their sanity. At some point they can't take it any longer and swear to never do it again. It might give them an existential crisis - it feels like slavery, is such a life worth living? (Usually xxFPs, but probably any type can come to such a mindset in their own way.)
You might think of it like most humans are like fishes and some humans are like cats. So everyone goes to work to this underwater factory. And some fishes like it, other might find it boring. But the cats must always hold their breath while working and it's very uncomfortable. At some point they complain and give up. It's not like they they are better and more privileged to not wanting to work in an underwater factory like everyone else. It's just that their experience is different. It's not fair for the fishes to say "Oh, you cat's think that you are too fancy for an underwater factory. You think you are better than everyone else.". Now, sometimes the cats think that everyone is a cat and so they might recommend everyone to not work an underwater job...
Often it's about the monotony of the job and spending 5 whole days of the week at work while having no time and place to express their own ideas/creativity, maybe no time to see the world. They will usually look for another job - an artist, musician, writer. Some will "work for themself at their own time" - like a programmer for hire, who is hired for projects instead of working fulltime 8 am to 7 pm (well, programmers are most of the time under pressure to work like 10-12 hours a day at times). It's less money, but more life. Sometimes they make their own company, but it's not so common, because leading a company is usually mode demanding than working at it - people at your company can come and go, while you have a responsibility to keep it going through good and hard times.
Well, that's my understanding and people I've seen... There will be people with other motivations.
At some level it is good that we have different people. The conflict and clash of views prevents us from getting stuck as a civilization and is a catalyst for change and improvement.

I mean if you believe it in the literal sense. Your soul is worth your whole life. your life essence of you being alive and your freedom. So if someone says that then no material amount of gain money or gold is worth their soul. Meaning even a children soul is infinitely more worth to them than anything in the world.

@@nicechock Well, yeah, I get it. You only have one chance at life. There is something about living it your way over someone else's way.

what id also like to know as INTJ is that what is here being meant by selling your soul? Do they mean going to hell or being punished ultimately for it. Because it implies something will happen to them if they do this. Or is it only metaphorical that they will get bored or have an ideology against big corpos or whatever. Need to know the underlying belief system first.

@@nicechock I would assume that most people mean it as "selling your time/happiness for money" (in this work related context). For example, instead of living an office job and spending whole week at work, they can start painting (selling art) instead. Then they have no hard deadlines, they can work when they feel like (or there are times when they need the money) and the life is less stressful. They can often live from paycheck to paycheck, but they prefer it over working every day from morning to evening.
