@Tobby Isiba rock music was definitely created by black musicians.

When the kpop idols and others experience racism outside Korea Korean people make an issue but they should understand that they do the same ( not all but there are some narrow minded people).
And it’s a shame because black fans in the west are will criticise such people and defend them 😕
A lot of K-pop idols have also made a lot of racially insensitive comments 😟. I know it's possible that a lot of them didn't mean to be rude but we should at least correct them. It's like people are so hypnotised by the South Korea's "picture perfect image" that they refuse to see that they're not perfect, it's honestly kinda frustrating 😔 I hope people will start opening their eyes soon
@@itshyeonjindae i am literally in those people who love Korea i mean i am mad about Korea their k drama their love stories kindness i want to go Korea , but after this i think i should understand that reel life is far different than real life
@@nrityakalaa3899 I understand wanting to live there, I'm not really a K-pop or kdrama fan anymore but I wanna live there one day too. It's just that it's important that we look at all aspects of South Korea and not just the cool and popular stuff. There's nothing wrong with liking Korea but you've gotta realize that they're just like everyone else. They're not perfect, they have imperfections and flaws too, just like every country. If you still want to go to Korea I really hope you stay safe, and make lots of friends. Just don't forget Korea is not perfect, no country is! Stay safe, and God bless you ❤❤❤
And not speaking up against it when you see it is also collusion

True story!!! PERIOD. Thats how I look at it.
I’ve never been to Korea; however, I can sympathize with your sadness. I have always loved Japanese culture and such from a very young age. I was finally able to visit there recently and was so saddened and disappointed by the foul looks I got from the people there. I was so hurt and let down because all my life I had loved and praised Japan and the culture. So, to be made to feel so displaced and gross after all this time of loving Japan was heartbreaking for me. So from another black woman to her sister, I’m so sorry!:( When will we be more than just skin deep to the world?
Aww I’m so sorry :( I hope you won’t have to face that disrespect there again!
lanagurl91 Amen
I've always wanted to go, as a holiday. I will still go, even though l am aware of what I may face.
I'm real sorry, that's horrible :( There's alot of really troubling aspects of their culture that go unnoticed bc the pleasant elements are what we notice first. Pretty sure that they consider their race superior; they're protecting of their legacy to the point of discrimination. Heard a story one time about a Swedish diplomat(fluent in Japanese) who was on a Japanese flight when the stewardess asked the man next to him if he wanted to be moved from the "ganjin" next to him. The diplomat responded in fluent Japanese that he was sorry to had caused any offense. She apologized profusely, but that's just saving face. The fact that they are discriminatory goes unnoticed bc we all just wanna watch anime XD
I went to Korea for my first time last October for a BTS concert and I can say that while I was there I didn't experience any negativity. Even with me being lost for my first night there for 3 hours the people or should I say this older Korean couple was able to help me find my way. I'm sorry that you experienced much negativity while being in South Korea. I hope things eventually get better
Come to Kenya, Africa its such a beautiful and friendly place
@Cheetah 6 I agree, like I live in Angola and people here are super friendly but life here kinda sucks like even if you live in the rich neighbourhoods the roads suck, clean water and electricity is a luxury, good food is expensive, good internet is expensive, the weather is HORRIBLE. I have no idea how we would even promote our country to others when most of us want to leave and for good reasons.
@Cheetah 6 Ive lived in Kenya and visited many other African coubtries and I have learned that Kenya is probably in the top ten best countries in Africa. It's so green and beautiful. Even the cities.
I love to visit africa being nature and wild and thats my choice not a fake world being traumatized with these hatred people
@Cheetah 6 i live in Nairobi westlands and honestly i love it here except for the long traffic drives .....i think maybe Rwanda is the only other country ad like
The good thing with Kenya is if your middle class and above you can comfortably live
As a Korean, I'm so sorry you experienced all that;; I'm so embarrassed with how they treated you and honestly I can feel you on a personal level.
When I lived there for 3 years, I had friends who were black and every time I was with them, there would be stares... And not just my black friends, I had German, Latina, Filipinos, Singaporeans, and other races of friends but each time I went out with them, we got stares and it bothered me so much. Korea is super judgmental when it comes to outer appearances and it really did take a toll on me as well cause even if I was Korean, I'm darker than most cause I'm also from California. It's crazy cause I'm called super fair here;; And the worst part for me was the fact that I could understand what the others were saying thinking we don't understand them.
There was a taxi driver who got super mad and started cussing in Korean saying stuff about how he doesn't want to drive us and whatnot;; but the thing is, we didn't even ask that taxi driver to drive us;; he just happened to be the next driver to take a customer cause apparently there's a line;; we originally asked a taxi car at the back.. He yelled at us saying we need to go to the first taxi in line;; so we went and got cussed out cause we were foreigners;;
I'm Korean, and as much as I love my country for all the cool things that they have to offer, I can't help but hate the people that live in it. Most of the Koreans I've met are rude, ignorant, and racist. I couldn't take more than 3 years. I originally went to Korea planning to stay for at least 5, if not permanently. But I couldn't handle the atmosphere at all. I caved and came back to America.
Again, I'm sorry on their behalf. I hope you don't mind visiting again just for the all the nice things they have to offer. Just ignore them or cuss them out in English LOL
Nicely detailed comment.😀
Sorry to read. Thx for the story, I appreciate it.

But they say Asian hate exists when your culture can be the most hateful. It’s truly ironic to me.
@@DaeDreamerrhich culture? Who's culture are you talking about
@@DaeDreamerrAsian hate does exist and, no, Asian cultures are not the most hateful.
I feel the same way about Italy. They really hate asians. One Italian man kept kicking really hard my chair for a 30 minute bus ride. Yelling "Eh! Chinese! Eh! Chinese! " continuously. His gf was with him she was laughing her head off. I'm not chinese btw- my mum is filipina and my dad is British. So it just shows how ignorant people are. Not every asian is from China and if they were it is still not acceptable to bully and behave in a way that threatens people. All I can say if you are woman of colour, mixed race or any alternative ethnicity to just plain white- better download some self defence classes into your brain. Nobody should have to put up with assault -which is what spitting on someone is.
Ignorant ppl everywhere. an African American guy deliberately bumped into me (Asian) on the metro and gave this dirty up and down look, ready to attack for no reason. It's just sad. That happened to me 13 years ago and I still remember. Can't even imagine how you felt and still feel to have experienced such an outrageous thing with spitting :(( karma probably hit that guy already like a boomerang.
Ekaterina P I’m so sorry I’m black girl and please don’t hold grudge I literally respect Asians and look up to them I’m soo sorry that happened omg!
@@ekaterinap4601 That is so sad. This is why I want to go back to self defense classes. x
@@caovuonglam Thanks for implying I'm ugly. But no I would not even take the "ohhh you are exotic" because that is still racism. Nobody wants to be wanted because they are exotic, that falls under prejudice and stereotyping people who are in fact individual human beings. Look up intersectionality and what that really means. If you are not sure -I will let Anna Akana explain it. ruclips.net/video/W3fxquPe1-Y/видео.html
Vivian West What? “As long as you’re attractive, many Italian men will view you as exotic and you’re assured a good life” ???? Why are you sexualising women like that? You have to be “attractive” for someone to treat you like a normal person? No girl, no. god FORBID you one day have kids that aren’t “attractive”
Was stationed in Korea. As a black woman, hated it completely. Felt like a freak show especially when I had my braids. A lady pulling on my hair in a Mcdonalds, an old man moving his grand kid away from me, people whispering and staring at me. It really sucked. Thats why i never appreciated it as much because I felt weird going to seoul. Weirdly Daegu wasnt as bad
B Daegu is litty! I made so many friends
Ofc Daegu is lit. It’s basically the hood of Korea (from what I’ve heard but I don’t wanna assume)
Hi i love Soobin and Beomgyu hood of Korea lmaooooo 😭😭😭😭
@Kay Flip that's just pure justifing of people's bad actions. Curious or not invalidating someone's space and touching them, saying nasty shit, pulling hair etc is not acceptable in any culture. They know what they are doing. The people who are nice dont do that. Stop trying to invalidate the racism nd discrimination people go through. Even if there's nice people and nice experiences there's still lots of faults. You don't need to travel to know not to verbally abuse someone
@Kay Flip + ofc all asian don't fele this waynd asian as a group aren't bad, there's just whole lot of bad discrimination in asia.
If a luxury apartment don’t have good water...then it’s the end
Maybe it's the water in Korea, for example when I go to the US I also have these problems with the water there cause I'm used to the water in my country so I have to buy special shampoos and soap to stop these "side effects" happening. I also notice my family has the same problem.
omg if u ever go to Korean please get a filter it was thin your hair
Its actually caused by hard water need to install water softener system. Hard water seems to make people break out/dry out alot its really bad for ur skin
Go to tropist countries
I just don’t understand how anyone anywhere, especially rich people drink tap water. My cats don’t even get tap water.
Oh my god she is so beautiful. Her skin is gorgeous. I can’t imagine someone being so disrespectful to her just because of her skin color. I’m so sorry that happened to you. (Your hair is amazing too and it fits you so well)
Queen Of Thine Bitchery aww thank u so much for the kind words
How can someone hate someone this beautiful and awesome
Also dark skin is awesome
I've been living in Korea as a European foreigner for 1 year and I noticed the same discriminating things towards black people as you did. While I was praised and envied for my light skin, light hair and light eyes, always being told I look like a doll although I do not in any way, I quickly noticed the disgusted glances some people gave anyone with darker skin, especially with really dark skin. And especially older Koreans, who are often not very open-minded towards foreigners in general, were quite extreme with their reactions like insulting them in Korean, asking them to yield their seat in the subway etc. I always felt really bad for them, but there are some stereotypes against white foreigners too, rather in a sexual way. While I was wearing my Korean school uniform, it was more than visible I was there as a high school student, but older men approached me asking if I was Russian (a very racist way of asking if someone is a hooker) and how much one hour with me would cost. I also was sexually harassed by a really disgusting, drunken man who continously asked if I could go down on him etc. in a public park and offered me 500 won (around 50 cents) for this.... I love Korean culture and Korean people, this year was one of the best experiences in my life, but there obviously are downsides too, although I always was admired and loved just for my super basic European looks, which does not make sense to begin with.
PatiiTube wow thanx so much for sharing your story seriously!!! I can actually imagine that happening I had a friend with a similar story. I’m so sorry that happened to you! It’s amazing you were able to notice the discrimination around you. Many ppl just ignored it like it wasn’t happening to me. Luckily there are enough good points I agree! It was an amazing experience despite the bad stuff. I’m glad u are still enjoy yourself and not letting those bad apples influence your views on Korea
Oh sh** I was asked that was I russian in korea too by a random old man in a 7/11 .... damn I've been to korea 3 times now and not thinking of going back..
Oh that is awful :( I just want to make clear that maybe not every Korean would ask this question with a bad intention, it is just what my Korean friends told me back then about especially older Koreans because of the history (apparently many decades ago most of Russian woman were perceived as hookers) and I personally was never asked this question in another context. Just do not want some misunderstandings to happen! But I also noticed that every younger Korean who asked about my nationality rather asked 어느 나라에서 왔어요? So just in general „which country are you from?“ which is obviously much more polite.
I've experienced similar situations. I've been here for 6 months but have been sexually harassed so many times I've lost count and a particularly bad instance happened on the bus that almost has me packing up and leaving (had a good cry throughout the night then put my "back off" face thereafter). Though I'm American (family immigrated from Ireland) they keep asking me if I'm Russian and not waiting for my response before grabbing me (this sucks for actual Russians too since this is discrimination against them).
I also find myself with empty seats surrounding me when on the subway. I've had people on their phone come to sit by me, look up from their phones, and change directions. I try to tell myself "woot, I get to have personal space" but it stings sometimes. Some of these situations occurred more often because I live in a rural area so I think most won't have to deal with these things to a large degree (no worries future travelers).
I also recognize that POC deals with racism, discrimination, and prejudice far more than I will in this country so I try to include and educate diversity to my students so this occurs less in the future. It's important for people to be 1. aware that Korea and it's natives can be just as shitty as anywhere else. 2. be advocates for POC in Asian countries as defending themselves can take a turn for the ugly with law enforcement.
Micaela 미카엘라 Awesome that you include diversity in your education of students. This is SO important! We are all global citizens and we should make the effort to reverse unkindness to our fellow human beings whenever we can - even if we don’t experience the unkindness ourselves. ❤️

@@sc33h3o3lol 😄 I'm wondering who would the fool be me or him? Cause that's a grown behind man spitting on females he doesn't know. In korea I would probably be the fool , but at this point he would get what he deserved.
I lived in Korea for about six months, and it was one of the hardest times of my life. There were so many wonderful moments with friends I met there, BUT the racism and horrible treatment really hurt me. I came home super sick; I lost 30 pounds in about 1.5 months due to stress; and with serious trauma. I’m still working through that with my therapist, honestly.
The worst thing is that I feel guilty talking about those negative experiences. Sigh. Sending you healing hugs ✨
I, too am black and not that long ago, I dreamed about going to Korea. However one day, I stumbled upon a channel called Asian Boss and it opened my eyes to the reality of the country.
Words could not describe how destroyed I felt when I discovered how hated I was in Korean society. And this was just me sitting at home in a western country.
I think your a very strong person to be able to live there for a year and still find something good to say. I would have never been able to do that.
Holigram Master damn asian countries crazy
Yeah that racism was mind-blowing in China too. People yelling "hey Africa" (I'm Dutch lol) or "negro", making ugly faces or monkey sounds or assuming I couldn't afford certain things. It's ignorance. On the other hand many, many more, were extraordinarily kind and the country is beautiful. I've grown to accept that I won't be welcome as a citizen, but I'll definitely be back as a tourist.
That's why it breaks my heart to see the blatant racism unraveling in my own country towards all Asians because of a stupid virus. That's why I'll endlessly defend them, rather than say "but they're just as guilty of racism". The more we open our hearts to others, the less we need to fear them.
If i can give you a piece of advice, don't let one video change your view about a whole society. Yes, South Korea is very homogenous and they are still very ignorant when it comes to Black people/foreigners. But trust me, it is really worth going there, even if it is only for a few days! I lived there by myself for three months as a french black girl who at the time could barely speak korean; yet it was still the most amazing experience in my life (and i have lived in 4 different countries). People including the elderly were super nice to me, asking questions about where im from, offering me free food etc lol; many times in the subway random korean people would stop me and ask for my kakao... And there are so many things to see and to do, it would be a shame not to go just because you are scared what they might think of you.

an advice from a person who lived in korea all her life but is black... always speak up, so if they did something u didnt like tell them to stop. once my boss kept on telling me he is amazed that i still live here and didnt leave and go back to my country (like wtf my country is korea boi) so the next time he said it i said stop and mind your own business i leave if i want i dont need your permission. so alway speak up dont be shy or think your too noisy just say it out loud.
It's interesting how beauty standards are in different countries. Through my eyes you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen. Keep doing you boo. Much love.
I am a black student in the uk and I can completely relate to what you are saying regarding the discrimination. My university organised an internship in China (Zhuhai, Hong Kong & Macau) for 8 weeks and it was a tough time. I really admire your resilience and strength because I was the complete opposite. It literally got to a point where I would have anxiety attacks if I had to leave my apartment because I knew something bad was going to happen. I really wish the world was so much kinder and we could all just vibe together. I met so many amazing people but I couldn’t deal and left the programme early. Good for you for staying strong in such situations and not letting it get you down.
francine Debrah oh nooo I’m sorry u had to leave early
Wow my older cousin experienced the same thing. She was so excited that she got a scholarship to do a study abroad in Shanghai but after a month she said she hated there because she would get so many stares and people asking to take pictures. I honestly couldn't deal with that either like I hate being the centre of attention.
Sorry you had to experience that. I'm black and I live in the UK but there's no discrimination, I think its to do with where you lived, I live in England, London and no ones racist here and its a very multicultural city.

Bruh China is the worsttttt. They’re so blatant about their racism too! Meanwhile they probably idolize white skin even more than Koreans
Why do people of color get hated on all the time???Gosh!!!!
Korean also the people of color.. And I it's surprising that most of them are racist too. Maybe because they live in homegenous society. So they see the differences as a threat?
Doctor Afree yeah but a lot of black countries are homogeneous and they are not racist as Asians.
@@cloudy6317 maybe that because of the colonialism? As we know that starting in 15th century, when white people extended their territories to occupied the land of Africa AND Asia. Most of our ancestor at that time think that white people were superior.. And fair skin somehow indicate the social status. And maybe some of Asian still think that way... Colorism and racism is real.. Me my self also experience colorism (discriminate because the color of the skin) toward my skin color, even though I am also an Asian (Indonesia).
Doctor Afree Brainwashing of colonialism
Doctor Afree Doctor Afree black countries had colonisation too lmao. If you didn’t know ;black ppl with lighter skin had better living conditions &dark skin were forced to work in cottons field. I also lived in Korea, luckily I was always with groups of people and never experienced any form of racism while I was there. I lived near Itaewon and loved my entire year there. The young generation aren't like the older people there. I did get lost on a train once my first week there and some random guy helped me get back home. I am hella sad she had to experience the racism there and that no one stopped it happening, but everyone's experience is different! I was blessed I had korean friends in my corner that wouldn't let the older people do me like this.
I stayed in Korea for 8 months in a study abroad program and the spitting story and subway stories really reminded me of the racist experiences I had. I was on the subway one time and it was nearly empty aside from a few people and some high school boys. I had my headphones in and was on my phone but the high school boys got off the subway. It was one of those stops that take a while for the subway to leave again and I started hearing loud shouting through my headphones so I looked up. Outside the subway, through the window/doors the boys were putting their middle fingers up and cursing. I was confused at who they were talking to but no one else paid them any mind and I was the only black/ foreigner there.... that really hurt and I tried not to cry on the subway. I also experienced the 2 empty seats next to me on the subway which was sad but I liked having the space next to me without being elbowed. On the positive side, I had a lot of great Korean friends and a lot of koreans helped me when I was lost or asked questions. I met a lady at a coffee shop that wanted to practice her English with me because she had a niece that went to study in america. I thought that was the cutest thing lol.

@Black To Grace Korean people have a dark complexion, not black but not white either. Today, they feel the need to be whiter. So, you can find olive shade foundation but because of beauty standards, the most dominant is the pale porcelain doll shade.

I do feel for my Black Women who have to face this mistreatment seems like everywhere they go! My 5ft wife at one point wanted to move to Japan but I was scared for her because she's had blinders on for most of her life in the form of her overprotective family then me that's made her . . . in my opinion naive to how ugly the world can truly be.

Here’s what I think. Racism is really common and it’s actually built into human mentality and is very natural. When you see someone foreign that has different characteristics than you know then you will automatically judge them or atleast it’ll be in your consciousness regardless of how nice of a person you are. Obviously being spat on and discrimination based on racism is bad but I feel that this should not prevent you from having fun and living your dreams. Go ahead to Korea and have fun and make yourself stronger and a better person. These bad things will make you stronger so don’t be afraid and face it head on!

As a Japanese person currently living in Tokyo, I am so ashamed of how some people in my native country are unapologetically rasict, sexist, homophobic. (Ik every country has their group of bad apples, but it still makes me sad). While it doesn't make it any better, the important thing is those rude people are rude to everyone. haha I studied at SNU during my undergrad as a foreigner and as a white male from Australia - I can relate to a lot of these things (except obviously the African American problems you faced). For what it's worth, I witnessed (almost exactly as you described) an African American girl abused by an old guy on the train yelling at the girl to go back to 'Africa or America' and watched in disbelief as all the grandmas sat staring at the floor. In Australia there would be a riot (no joke). I yelled HEY at the top of my voice, everyone looked at me, I walked over to the poor girl and went nuts at the old man, before asking him to sit down on his seat, respect others, get off at the next stop and then got off with the girl to make sure she was alright. Importantly though, 2 young koreans saw the girl crying with me on the platform and came up to ask what was wrong and if she was ok. Your last point though was on point lol - Korea is fkn dope! You were in an ace spot. Try boarding at SNU :/ not exactly packed with clubs and nightlife there lol. Anyway great post and good for others to watch. I experienced the same thing in Korea. Me, my twin and mum went to Korea a few weeks ago and we stayed in Jongno, I CANNOT STRESS how much we were stared at, it was as if we were aliens. There was this one time my mum and I were hungry so we left my sister at the hotel and we went to McDonald’s and there was this old man that followed us ALL THE WAY THERE AND INTO THE STORE, he just sat there and stared and made disgusted faces at us until we left. Another time was my twin and I were walking around the city (we did this until 9) and we were waiting at the crossing and these three ladies (maybe mid 20’s?) kept looking back at us and IK they were talking shit, so when one looked back again I just looked at her and gave her a face that was like ‘tf you looking at???’ And they stopped lmao.
These were just incidents that happened but majority of the Korean people were kind and helpful and South Korea is an AMAZING country and I would FULLY recommend going there for a holiday ❤️

I think korea standard of beauty is known for having light skin, looking like a doll, straight hair , skinny , they even bleach their skin to be lighter.... and i find that to be so ridiculous asf ....
like why cant we love each other as a species .... but i guess that will never happen ☹️ I’m so over this planet 🌎
tanio12 I don’t even know , it looks plain out ridiculous 🤦🏽♀️
I think their standard of beauty is absolutely unrealistic... And that's really sad. Literally. Do they actually know that dolls are plastic...... Really
My thoughts Exactly, but it's strange because the concept of beauty is different everywhere, people are brainwashed by their media in their countries. White uk ppl tan themselves and would go to countries like Spain to sun bathe all day during holidays, koreans would beach themselves to a point whereby it just doesnt look right with their features, Ukrainians and middle east do nose jobs and surgeries to make themselves feel somewhat beautiful, ethiopian tribe scar themselves to be seen attractive whereas in korea, scars on women is frowned upon, black people suppress themselves into thinking they are inferior whilst other races like Brazil and Europe and asia try to look black by having breast implants and big booty- something that black girls are gifted with. White people put fillers on their mouth to have lips like black people, it doesnt even look nice. Like wtf, people need to understand no matter where you are in the world the inside beauty shines further than artificial beauty. Artificial beauty is perceived differently everywhere and changes with season and time for capitalism and profits. We all age and non of it matters then. When you are old and all wrinkled -which bleach, plastic bum, nose or fillers will look stunning. Come oon can people appreciate the differences. I prefer going to a country that is unique in culture, people and their way of living. I would hate to see everyone looking the same, it's just not interesting. Last not least, why is kpop not frowned upon, I mean they act black, copy black music and copy their swaggggg like whatsuppp with that I mean helllooooooo why are you'll tryna be black and not like black at the same time 🤪
@tanio12 exactly is just plain stupid 😂
The fact that the Korean standard of beauty is essentially Scandinavian women is so weird and clearly has roots in white supremacy (missionaries, holocaust, european owned nations)
But its 2019. Let the Korean standard of beauty be natrual Korean women and not double eyelids, a high nose and v shaped face is all I'm saying

Same..
I'm Nigerian but I've been really excited about experiencing the Korean culture and I've even saved up to travel down there for like 2 weeks but this is so sad.
My friend in Canada did tell me Asians are super racist towards blacks and actually seeing this really breaks my spirit, especially since I'm a super huge fan of BTS and they seems so nice
Teniola Beatrice whats so special about korea anyway
Teniola Beatrice same! nigerian girl here tryna go to korea with their friends in the summer of ‘22 but now i feel scared haha 🤩
Nigerian here too! Heard too many horror stories and now I am definitely not going to South Korea. If someone treated me like that, I would probably go to jail for beating them up. So best to stay away.
im a black high school student and i got to live in korea with a korean high school student for a week. the family was rlly nice but i always got scared when we went outside. it was rural so ppl would always stare and make weird faces. there was one point where i was literally shaking from anxiety and the student was rlly worried.😂😂 but it definitely seems like the racism comes from the old ppl. the younger ppl rlly didnt care. but ive been learning korean for 3 yrs now and i am always discouraged to learn because of the extreme racism. i go to college next year and i want to study abroad and eventually live there but do u think my dreams are unrealistic? i feel weird because i love a culture that doesnt love me🤔🤔 thnx for sharing ur story and u should kno what u went through only made u stronger. if u can face korea alone u can do anything!!
PHARAOH CALIBER deffffff go! Experience it again for yourself especially in the city. Don’t let a few bad apples spoil the basket. There are so many amazing people as well! I was just heavily effected because my expectations were too high and I actually didn’t know about this prior to coming so the disappointment led to some negative vibes I didn’t wanna live around. In addition I still had other countries to live in so I jumped ship. But you already know how it is so you can prepare yourself. I’d say it’s an amazing experience (especially in uni) that u shouldn’t miss out on. I have no regrets going there and can say it was one of the funnest times of my life ... keep studying boo
@tanio12 facts
Don’t listen to the appreciate speech. Let your heart lead you to where you feel the most comfortable. Just remember the cons and pros. Maybe you can write them down and evaluate is it in your best interest to go or not. Is it because you want to experience a new culture or actually start a life there? It all comes down to whether you really want it to be permanent or for a change of environment for a short amount of time. Just remember you don’t need to go somewhere you are “appreciated”, from the simple fact you aren’t there for them or to please others. I just hope you follow your dreams and succeed. Or you’ll always be wondering. What if? And always keep your head held high and shoulders pushed back. People don’t like you because they think your ugly. People don’t like you, because they want to be you. They envy you. They are jealous of you. And they don’t understand you. Always remember that.
This made me hurt my heart! 😭😢
No matter where you go, there will always be haters. Fortunately there are lovers too, but they may be harder to find.
If someone spit on me they would have had to lock me up
so id be fighting in Korea everyday
(edit) thank you guyyysss for all the likes follow me on insta @dionabest
Diona Best same girlll😂
Same 😂
oop, same 💀.
I was looking for this comment but I was like “maybe I’m being too pessimistic” lol but EXACTLY ! Some people need to learn how to be petty back fight back. If they stare at you, stare back. If he spit on you, spit back lol.
Yes ma’am. I would be ready for too😂
Sorry but the spitting would have been a whole hell no for me. I understand in Korea they tend to not side with the foreigners, but I would have made such a scene, he would have known! That's too bad because I go to Korea a lot.
Me too. I would kick his face I swear.
I would've probably been taken away by the cops cuz... these claws ain't for show and whenever I'm mad they start itching
Yes I would have beat that man ass so quick If he ever spit on me
I would have been arrested
I spit right back
WAIT. You were a black model in South Korea?!!?!? Girl hmu and explain how to do it 😂💯
♥️ being half Korean, I feel the judging of “darkness”. It’s sad and I am glad you were able to take away positive things from your experience there.
Sundai, I found out that you went to Korea and knew you left because something hard had to have happened to you. I noticed you didn’t really discuss it, while everyone else can’t stop gushing about it. It’s sad that I knew, but it’s worse that you went through that. The things you said... are some of the worst things I’ve heard about on youtube from foreigners. Thanks for being honest. Tell the folks who think SK is only going to be all rainbow and butterflies the truth.
But I’m glad you had some good memories and you got some coint before leaving.
luvuless12 some coint!!!!! Lol I love that. Yeaaa I just EAT SLEEP AND FART positive vibe and negative atmosphere is a real thing for me I can deal with difficulties but I rather not live in negative vibes ya know. Korea was great at many things but that was just a deal breaker for me for LIVING there ya no
I just stumbled upon your video, but you seem like the sweetest person alive. I’m sorry this happened, this shouldn’t happen to anyone. I love your sticky note idea, I’ve been wanting to learn Korean for a while. I’m definitely subscribing :D
Hahah your taste of men is so opposite to me ! My bf is African x and im.korean.but i dislike the racism about korea too lols
