This is Fabien, the Khorne player. I want to say that was also my favorite game of the tournament, and Jordan is not just a very good player but also an amazing person. Round 2 there was a misunderstanding on my part on how devious adversary work and Jordan decided not to add the extra attacks for the 2nd activation into Skarbrand since he forgot to tell me during the pre-game that it does stack, and I would've played differently with that knowledge. Most players would have taken advantage of the situation and Jordan didn't, and for that I take my hat off to him. It was a phenomenal game, with a lot of big swings and the game could definitely have gone the other way, especially with different prio rolls. Definitely a hard game to start off LVO for both of us, but it was a really fun one, and the faceoff between Skarbrand and the Abomination was for sure my favorite moment! I hope we get to play again!
This looks like a great game. Shows how interesting AoS is. Big shout out to warpfire Jordan for taking the patience to put out his models to show how his rounds played out turn for turn! Better get these done quick before you forget. I watched Fabien play on the last day of LVO, that last game was wild. Shows how good a player Fabien is against some of the toughest challenges. Dice are always a factor, still gotta put yourself in that position. Fantastic game.
i havent come across a channel that does reviews of their games before but you know what i like it, i think i like it better than battle reports :-) please do more!
I love your format. You do a very good job of making it entertaining as well as informative. Really appreciate the effort, I’m sure it’s a lot of work during the games and then recapping everything with all the models on the table and stuff. Really cool!
The Khorne player rolling the last 13 dices as he did had a statistical probability of 0.0000701% for comparison, winning the German lottery has a probability of 0,00000072%
Quick question on the warbringer's extra attacks: i get the 2+ from the warpstone Charm, but where do the other +2 attacks come from? And Skarbrand really brought the worst out of the warbringer and the hellpit in this match, but it was still a close one 😄
The command trait Devious Adversary gives you +2 to attacks when you fight within 3" of something that hasn't fought. So in combat I fought the Warbringer and he got +2 attacks, then when he died he "fought" again, so an additional +2 attacks again! Warpstone Charm just gives enemies with 3" -1 to their save, which means all of his attacks are effectively rend -3.
The mission says you only score at the end of your turn, so if the wizard dies in that battle round after you've already done your scoring (aka your opponent's turn in the bottom of the round) you don't get the bonus point.
How did the warbringer get 2x 2attacks? u said 8 spikefist and 10 glaives. Devious advesary only gives +2 attacks regardless of how many around him right?
Devious Adversary triggers when that unit "fights," so the first time he fought in combat he got +2 attacks until the end of the phase. Then when he fought again on death (in the same combat phase) he was still in range of someone who has not yet fought, so Devious Adversary triggers again for an additional +2 attacks
Still finishing up recording the last two, but we're going to upload one here in an hour or so try and put a video out every Wednesday going forward; Warpfire Wednesday!

Definitely looking forward to playing again one day!
Seems like this game was between two men of honor ! Well done for the great spirit.
It stacks?! Wait are you sure?
The Skarbrand vs. Hellpit situation is one of the best reasons to play aos! 😅

Awesome recap to a great game.
Yeah great game, thanks for the walkthrough!
This is great! More :P
It was amazing!
Very cool video!
Holy crap khorne was really really with the opponent this game. Sometimes no matter how well you play though the dice get ya.
I think U do score the extra point regardless of whoever turn it is because those points for wizards are added at the end of the battleround
