Social media has made people crazy. If a person wants, they can actually closet themselves off so only "their" opinion matters to them. They can no longer accept different viewpoints. Kind of sad. Also, I use to throw braid with a fluorocarbon leader. You convinced me to stop. I now catch more fish and have a better presentation in the water column. Thanks Randy!!
What other fish do you catch when going for bass? Biggest panfish or catfish? What are they most likely to hit on, crankbait? Do you ever use lures that aren’t bass specific, and get a lot of other fish? Just throwing that out there bc I’m curious and know you will be checking the comments on this vid with extra diligence.
Thanks for voicing your opinion I use braid to flor works for me but I can go either way as for the rest you’re right about people have lost the ability to dialogue we created a my opinion only culture I’m old and still learning and yes my opinion can change
I know some northern states do not allow bass fishing during the spawn. If you banned it here in Florida where i live people would have a cow !! I do not bed fish and and never have. Regarding the Hot Foot, I would not be without it. In rough water I can keep my hands on the steering wheel and not have to mess with the hand throttle.
Another thing that gets me is everyone saying China is causing all the problems because they put more pollution into the environment, well the reason behind that is because all the other countries have all these products made in China so of course they have more pollution because they make everything. How hard is it to see that?
Also building up a countries infrastructure takes way more resources than maintaining it. That’s why developing countries naturally pollute more. The whole climate change thing has been used as a political weapon by developed countries
It triggers me when you talk about how terrible spawn fishing is and how bad tournaments are for bass fishing but come next spring spawn you’ll be right out there. Sorry, I love ya man but that bothers me
He isn’t saying that he’s not doing it he is saying that he has to fish when they have tournaments and that is his profession so if he wants to provide for his family he has to fish when the tournament organizers have it, he is saying that the organizers should schedule the events around the spawn so the anglers don’t have to fish during a spawn.
He doesn’t HAVE to fish those tournaments in spawn. He chooses too. Kind of have to sell your soul to be a PRO fisherman. Not much for morals are those folks
I agree on trying to go green but he’s the thing wind doesn’t work quite right solar has major issues. That being said you can’t shut down coal fired power plants yet we are not ready to do that yet maybe never supplemental yes but not sole source of our power grid!! Slow down we might get there but don’t put us in danger!!!!
We have laws that protect several species during the spawn season.. (saltwater) but not bass.. bass should be a protected species as well . . imo protected during that critical phase of reproduction..

The Earth is 350 billion years old. The industrial revolution only started about 275 years ago. How can you not see that all the burning of fossil fuels and pollution is rapidly changing our climate? When I was a kid in the 50's and 60's we had actual seasons. Now we get basically summer and fall. If it gets cold in winter its brutal temps. Summers are way hotter and longer. Either we get days of rain in a row or droughts. Storms have gotten worse every year and tornados pop up where they never did 50 years ago. The part that gets me is People who have kids and grandkids and don't care. They fig they will be gone till it gets real bad, to hell with the kids I guess. I had a Mennonite tell me he hates wind mills! 🤷♂🤦♂

I use straight Seaguar Basix fluorocarbon. It's only $10.99 a spool and I've never had any issues.
