Piaggio Avanti EVO is state of art of engineering ! By far.
Don’t forget the Piper Cheyenne 400 LS certified to Flight level 410. Chuck Yeager set a few records himself in this airplane. I believe at the time I was flying this Aircraft it Was One of the fastest turbo prop Aircraft on the planet.

I like the design of the Avanti EVO. If I were to buy one of the two planes, the Avanti EVO would be my choice, just for looks.

It is an excellent comparison, I think they have some similar characteristics, in my opinion I like the King Air 350i more for its structure.

Both are twin engine turboprops ???
Because of the 403 kn cruising speed vs 312 kn the Avanti Evo is about 24% cheap to fly. The King Air will carry more passengers and cargo.
The trouble is that Piaggio is broke and under administration. Therefore maintenance parts etc might take some time in arriving!

According to Wiki, a Piaggio with a full fuel load could then carry only another 300lbs.
A King Air 360er with full fuel load can carry another 1900lbs before max weight.
Am I wrong? Not that this would ever matter to me. I couldn't afford to replace a damaged cup holder in either one.🙄

Don't be dropping into a gravel strip with the Avanti, or even grass for that matter. 350 not really a problem with proper technique.

Ahhhh both aircraft have the same basic design of engines. Pratt and Whitney or Garrett take your pick. Both engines are turbo props. Who wrote this script talking head?

Yes, they are. There are plenty of planes that are twin engines too but not turbo props. This guys misspoke as they both are turbo props.
