- The Dallas Cowboys beat the Buccaneers badly in the Monday Night Wild Card game, Tom Brady could have very well played his last game in Tampa Bay, Rob Lowe mistakenly makes his entrance thinking Jimmy is talking about him, Joe Biden hosted last year’s NBA Champion Golden State Warriors at the White House, Trump is at peak “Are you kidding me?” right now over classified documents, Mar-a-Lago is supposedly an armed fortress, Donny’s ex-wife Ivana left him out of the will, and the “Black Forager” Alexis Nicole Nelson takes Jimmy and Guillermo out into nature to see if they can find something to eat and make some food out of it.

The foraging segment was not only adorable and educational, but gave so much positivity that we need today. We definitely need more of her!
Funny you would say that because here I was thinking what a mind numbing segment that was and, infact, quite dangerous too as eating wild raw plants and mushrooms without ample knowledge of botanics can very easily turn into a trip to the hospital or even the morgue, but I guess worrying about children copying stupid and dangerous stuff they saw on tv is just paranoia, as that never ever happens, right?

@@tommytalks77 I watched & played Power Rangers as a kid, but I didn't try to tear apart my siblings to form a Megazord. This show is on late night, it caters to adults. It's also called sparking an interest in something that people might not know that exists and learning more. But essentially it boils down to: This is why we can't have nice things.
Guillermo was funnier than usual. "I never ate a salad", and other quick one liners. Loved it.
I think he was just being honest.

I loved that too. She seems like she would be a great friend to have that would come over and get you out of the house if you were depressed and make you feel better.
That segment gave me the idea to do with my son when the weather is good here. I'm so glad you can just take a pic of a plant and your phone will tell you what it is because I can't remember half the stuff that grows wild around here.

Alexis handled the comedic dimension of the segment with natural aplomb and humor. That's harder than it looks.
I actually disagree, but i still loved her. An acting coach can easily teach her some improv guidelines, tho. Whenever she delivered a “joke” there was a strangeness, like she sought to prove herself or “perform” differently because Jimmy is a comedian. They should have edited out all of those comic interjections that landed with a thud.
@@Mister_Listener Have you seen the majority of her content? Or like any of it before landing Kimmel? She's naturally very funny, nerdy, outgoing, and interesting. That's why she's already so popular on TikTok and IG.
@@littlegeo1 i can imagine her tiktok series where she is the star as a forger. i just thought two or three moments of her improv with the two guys was bit forced and didnt get a laugh and maybe should have been edited out…but that is just me being hypercritical.

My party stopped to talk to them... they would hike miles (they'd parked on the other side of our mountain) to find plants I'd walked by a million times that were apparently edible and delicious. We all partook, it was awesome. Wish I could remember what it was we ate!
