There's official channels, for official business. Private channels through a personal lawyer and asking for favors while withholding critical aid is not irrelevant. Withholding transcripts by marking them as classified due to national security when it appears more likely that it is to hide implicating remarks is not irrelevant. It is misuse of power. As President, Trump thinks what is good for him is good.
My concern is that whether he is removed from power by Impeachment, Election, or Term Limits (22nd Amendment), that he simply will refuse to go. Then we'll see who supports our Country & Constitution, and who simply supports Trump. I would hope that the Republican Party, as a party, would cease to allow this to go on. Trump is no Julius Ceasar, and our Constitution was crafted to prevent a 'king', could make all the difference.
