Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve been throwing javelin for two years now and I just really want to improve and make it to provincials. I’m currently working on strength training and explosiveness off season and I already feel better about throwing. I came across your video and I was never told how important blocks are for throwing (I don’t think my coach ever mentioned it). I really appreciate it and I feel so much more confident for the coming season. I will DEFINITELY use these techniques.
Thank u Coach 🙏💘🌹🙏 Please keep uploading , By your Guidance i Have increased my Throws From 45metres to 65metres Love From India 🙏🌹🙏 , After Olympic 🥇 Gold From Neeraj Copra Javeline As a Sport Has become Very Very Popular here and Your Free Guidance is Very Useful And increase ours Motivation to Throw Further , Continue this Athletic Sport and Live this Gorgeous Sport 🥰🥰
Thank you sir 🙏for your very much technic discussion, now I am starting Javelin throwing Coaching ....I am requesting you sir whey improve the Impulse step...
Excellent content as usual. One quick question: asuming that the left arm is alowing for the opening of the chest, what would be your recommendation in order to delay the action of the righ arm and not opening too soon. Thanks in advance
I like to pinch my shoulder blades and throw my right hip into it. It seems to delay my right shoulder strike and keep the elastic tension the whole time.
I like progress drills and timing drills to help with the block. I’ll post more soon but here’s a video that can help: ruclips.net/video/fSvU0tIb34Q/видео.html
Your left shoulder is slightly too late to block. Watch your throw is slow motion and your left leg hits the block and your left shoulder is still up. Get the left shoulder down and blocked with the left leg and you’ll see a cleaner block and a better deflection into your throw 👍🏻
Yep. Best video on the block I've ever seen. Everyone learning to throw the javelin should see it.
Very kind of you to say! Thank you!
