Very Great. I am from I India. Your vedio will inspire many many players. ...... very Nica
Came for the pilum, verutum and lancea throwing techniques. Stayed for that awesome techno beat!
This needs to be a high school sport, along with hammer throw. The US would have more Olympic in these throwing events if they're practice at the high school level.
Agree!! I grew up in a state that contests the javelin in high school! There are definitely outliers who start later, but for the most part, our most successful athletes grew up throwing it, or at least being aware.
it is at my hs🤚🏼
It’s only in a few states, Pennsylvania being one of them. I had a full scholarship for javelin due to the opportunity.
Had it in my HS.

I thought that was a Darth Maul’s lightsaber
Pov: Watching this when you have field athletics day tomorrow in school
First comment first time
Shouldn't the angle of the javelin with the horizontal be 45° ? Because thats what will give you the maximum range
The right angle should be 35-40°. Air resistance, for example, makes a little difference.
@@theflyingfinn5721 true dude... I did forget to take friction into account. But i don't think that it will make that a huge difference.. Will it? Maybe 1 or 2 degrees
Top throwers have been filmed throwing at slightly different angles in relation to the ground when viewed from the side, and conclusions have been drawn from that after seeing how far they throw. Think how you don’t throw a frisbee for the maximum distance by aiming it upwards at a 45° angle in relation to the ground; both the javelin and the frisbee are spinning objects that are aerodynamic, and their spin helps to create lift.
The fork let me throw 103ft at 12 but the switch to the 600g has messed me up a bit along with little practice
How are you doing in javelin now. You should be about 15.
@@latoyam7471when I was writing about that I was 18 but referring to when I was 12. I throw shot put and discus now😭
@woahthere5362 My daughter is 15. She is only throwing 107 in javelin. She throwing shot Put also
Why isn't the javelin throw treated like other projectile sports? Why not have targets you're supposed to hit for points? What good is distance if you have no accuracy or precision?
It's to gauge your throwing strength and technique.
Because unlike other „projectile sports“ it actually deserves the name „sport“
@@Chronischer_Innenbahn-Laeufer Exactly ;o)
because it is unique. If you were hunting with a spear thousands of years ago, you did not have much of a chance as a hunter if you could not throw that spear far, even if you could throw it accurately 10 feet away. Many sports derive from survival skills. There are accuracy games with targets that have little to do with survival. Track and field is one of the oldest sports around, so the movements in the sport were often related to survival value.
❤❤❤
What is he rheighest distance?
How do I make it stop spinning in the air???
wow nice so Beautiful greatful lady
mam why our arm is pain when we do javlin please tell
look up drills with a "Javee" you are throwing with too much elbow. you want to roll your shoulder more like a pull not a throw.
