- This video was actually shot mid 2022, so by the time you're watching this the answer will change slightly. The new AMD Ryzen processors are competing with Intel at the top level, and the graphics cards from AMD and Nvidia are competing well, too.
At the time of this video the 6900 XT was the king of Warzone - since then we've had the 40 series released, the 7000 series AMD processors and the 13th Gen Intel processors are now available. Warzone 2 also came out, and it shook up the gaming world because it now requires a higher end processor - and puts less stress on the graphics card comparatively.
I still think this video is great, and at the time of making it this was the best Warzone setup, I hope you enjoy checking out this beast of a PC we built for Shaun! 😁

My first ever build used Intel (Pentium G4560)
My second build used Intel (i3 10100f)
My recent build used AMD (Ryzen 5 5600)
I've been converted to an AMD fanboy. PBO and overclocking are just too nice.
That 5600 is the MVP - it's just the perfect processor for like 99% of gamers 😂
The 5800X3D is a AMAZING chip!

@@itsdeonlol Great graphics card! I had one for a little while and tried Warzone 1 with it, with a Ryzen 5 5600 and RX 6700 XT I was sitting at around 170 FPS in 1440p on decent settings! Now that Warzone 2 is out I'd need to try the 6700 XT again but that setup should be good for 140 - 150 FPS at 1440p 😁
I came here to get answers to what I was looking for, but this is the same CPU I want to stay away from. No overclocking, locked at 4.5 GHz. And is also the last AMD model CPU for that type of socket.

I've been watching your videos for about a week as I am currently waiting for my PC to be build by Micro Center, and I could've sworn you had thousands of subscribers if not millions with your builds & video quality.
Just want to say thank you for sharing your builds. You've definitely helped me with mine. If you were on state side I would've definitely brought my business to you.
Based on a lot of your builds and feedback, here is what I ended up with:
- Lian Li O11 Dynamic EVO Tempered Glass ATX Mid-Tower Computer Case ( I wanted a Y60, but the 40 Series cards are a tight fit)
- ASUS X670E-PLUS TUF Motherboard
- AMD 7950x Processor
- NZXT Kraken Z73 RGB 360mm AIO
- A mix of Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-5600a rM & G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR5-6000 PC5-48000 (it was free)
- ASUS NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 TUF (if the 4090 version becomes available, I'll swap it)
- 10 Lian Li UNI Fans SL Infinity Fluid 120mm fans to complete the build with a push-pull radiator configuration
I know you're not too much of a fan of DDR5 at the moment, but I wanted to future proof this PC as its my first build. I will mainly be using it for sim racing, gaming in general & video/photo editing.

That's a really great PC, the only thing I'd do is don't mix the RAM - even with DDR4 you can't mix RAM like that, but if you use DDR5 you need to stick to just two sticks, and stick to a max of 32GB RAM if you're gaming - 64GB and higher will be temperamental, and four sticks will barely ever work with DDR5 - I explained a bit more in this video about RAM 😁
