- We now have a FREE FSR 3.0 Frame Generation Mod and I'm going to show you how to install it to Horizon Forbidden West on Steam Deck SteamOS. This is a Free Mod so I don't see why you wouldn't do this. Share to your friends if they are playing this game on the Steam Deck!

I just tested this mod with Bazzite for Spiderman Remastered on my Legion Go and it works great!! Im getting stable 60fps easy with medium graphics at 1600p and frame gen on. I have the legit steam version but I will be trying it on some quacked later. Im definitely going to give this a go on some other stuff in my steam library too. You are the man!!!

Could you make a video on installing smash ultimate mods on ryujinx via emudeck? Unfortunately since yuzu has shut down i cant follow your yuzu one.

@@GrownUpGamingGUG I actually added yuzu to emudeck. When I go into emudeck it recognizes it, but when I go into steam it dosent recognize it at all

For steamOS yes because every game is stored in a different prefix folder. On windows you can do it once and windows has the registry already.

thanks for sharing the mod, while its works and shows much higher FPS, it certainly does not feel smooth on my legion go. I also tried using integer scaling without the mod and it feels much smoother with better image quality
Mix up the settings. You can use xess with frame generation or turn off frame generation. More possibilities and it's free so no harm 👍

Great video, one thing i have found is that turning the fps/hz down on steam deck causes input latency badly, from m experience keeping the display at 90 fps/hz is the best way to reduce input lag
at least for the frame generation mod
Oh maybe that's why people always leave comments saying input lag when I feel response time is actually quite good. I don't turn down anything, tdp, FPS, refresh rate, keep it at maximum as the point of installing performance mods is to get better performance not turning stuff down 😂
@@GrownUpGamingGUG I agree! Yeah give it a try maybe it’s just me but yeah I definitely feel extra input lag when I do it, will be interesting to hear if others are having the same issue when adjusting the fps

@@GrownUpGamingGUG yeah it actually runs surprisingly well. Dips to 30fps here and there but it’s playable for me.
You should try it out for yourself and see cuz it runs really good on my Steam Deck!

Hey GrownUpGaming… I seem to be stuck… I’ve followed the tutorial as outlined, but when I go into the launcher it allows me to select dlss as upscale method, but the DLSS Frame Generation checkbox is greyed out… does that need to be checked? Any idea what could be the issue?

Yes but non-steam version as the steam version will crash when changing the API from vulkan to dx12 on steamOS for some reason.

If you limit frames then you get input latency so I don't recommend doing it.

Are you using steam version? The launch options is different, check the description.
Non steam version, I tried using the different launch options and came up with an "error, report to Sony". I also tried the restore reg file and did the process again and the same thing happened, thanks for the help ❤️

Game runs without mod, I have no clue what's going on but I'll let you know if I figure it out
@@proffyondu6857 just remove non-steam game and add it again with a new prefix folder. Start fresh is better.
what will happen if i will lock the frame rate to 40fps with the fsg mod? will it have the same input latency?
It feels responsive to me already so maybe I'm not the best choice to test this out.
Hello friend. I'm playing Kingdom Come Deliverance and the Fling Trainer doesn't work, because there's nowhere to click and the digital keyboard doesn't work. Is there any way to see if you can activate cheats through Steam Deck?
You can try map the back buttons to they toggle cheats button.

Standalone trainers are a hit or miss. Try downloading another trainer. I prefer using wemod or aurora.

How did you launch the game from Sony? If the command WINEDLLOVERRIDES="version,dxgi=n,b" %COMMAND% gives an error: Report problem!

I'm pretty sure gow 2008 pc is dx11 only and currently no fsr mod works for that game.

I think that game is not optimized for PC because it's running smoothly in ps4 with no frame rate drop.

At 30fps it wont drop for sure.

Tried on : Ratchet & Clank (with renaming the .dll) = no DLSS option / Immortals (with renaming the .dll) = no DLSS option

@@GrownUpGamingGUG double checked with immortals : it seems it's working, the files have to be put into that directory "ImmortalsOfAveum\x64\Windows\P3\Binaries\Win64"
Yes most of the time the mod files needs to be put inside the win64 folder where the shipping-exe is.

There is a way, simple way is remove the launch options command and run winecfg, go to libraries and add 'version' and 'dxgi' in the WINEDLLOVERRIDES.

I watched your video on how to install wemod which has helped a lot but I'm confused as to how you were able to find any files when using protontricks for some reason only random files show up or none at all when I use it so I can't install N.E.T since it never appears in that folders.
This happens all the time when I use an app or loader that has to open files and most of the time it say what I'm looking for doesn't exist even though I have it downloaded and can find it in dolphin. Which means I can't use melonloader or beplnex because they need you to find a certain file but for some reason the places they are looking is in a place where my files don't exist.
Maybe try putting the files you need somewhere easy to access like home folder, download folder or desktop. Also, for exe files you need to select exe from the file pulldown.

You need to select exe from the pulldown of "files of type". Also you should use the .net framework 4.8 OFFLINE installer rather than web installer.

The game used to run at a better FPS of 35 but it still crashed, then I do everything in the video, but the fps are 11 and it crashes immediately?
@@zeusporco ok mine is on steamOS 3.5.19, cryoutilities on recommended 4gb vram, FPS set unlimited, allow tearing on. I've never had the game crash with or without the mod.

My brother and i we tried with our steam version of the game, and we cant get it to work, it gave us the 2 errors at the begining like yours, but then the screen turns completly black and nothings happens
