I do not assess the reason to live in a place only on monetary terms or earning power. Ireland is best for bringing up kids and very low crime rate; there is way higher peace of mind here as the Irish are some of the best welcoming people on earth. There may be a few shades of institutional discrimination but you should expect that in any Caucasian-dominated country. Regarding the quality of life, when you consider the wealth of the nation vs population, Ireland is among the top 5 in the world having only about 5 million people in the entire country. I think Ireland is a place to be currently.
I agree
Well said
Don't agree...Irish people and patients don't understand Africans....
Sir, you have answered my questions, thank you so much. I am motivated to start the process of relocating to Ireland. God bless you🙏
The NHS pay includes an excellent pension scheme which the Irish one doesn’t and everything in Ireland is at least a third more expensive
Says who? Maybe you are not aware but try searching for HSE pension scheme as well its the same as NHS pension scheme
Dublin is not Ireland.
Dublin is a city in Ireland 😂
Dublin is the capital @@miss_pearl
Nnanelle, one thing I say to internationally trained nurses with experience from back home is don't undermine yourself by staying in band 5 because you have seen others who get stuck in band 5 for 7 years or more.
Every year or 2 years look for a way to get out of any band you are. What experience? Skills? Education do you need? Make sure you are progressing in the right direction especially if you want that for yourself.
That’s a really good one . You’re speaking to me
@@NanelleGriselda compare Australia as well
You content is good but nit complete and misleading ,,,, why cant you cover the whole concepts if expenses in Ireland and see how kuch would be left for savings .
Accomodation in Ireland is scarce .
And always advise people about passive income because no one got rich by relying on a payslip
@Baba so true. You're right
I live in ireland and work as a Mental health nurse. My pay is deducted by income tax, psri, usc, 2 pensions. On average I get gross 1800e per 2 weeks, net 1200e. But everything us ireland is so expensive.
Do you get to save at the end of the month?
one week paycheck in America as a travel nurse.
Travel nurse is very different from this
@@Lando-kx6so then there are those of US staff nurses who take home $2100 a week afte taxes . That part .
Exactly my dear. Some times I make $4000. in nursing home in one week in NY. AMERICA WINS
@@nighni459 my take home a week sometimes is $2600 in NY
@@richierich402 I just didn't want to go hard. Lol
what's the required band score for nurses?
You mean ielts ? Band 7 and at least 6.5 in writing
Can you please invite a Luxembourg nurse???
I agree

@@NanelleGriselda yay thanks our mama😍
Uk oooo😂😂😂😂
Jesus at least pronounce it right
Good afternoon Nantelle can I get link to Nurse coach Ola
Kindly check the video description
I did not realize that the UK and Ireland are paying nurses so low. How can one live off that pay when all the other societal taxes and factors are included? No wonder there is a nursing shortage. No one wants to pay for an education or become educated just to barely survive. No disrespect to my lovely sisters in the UK and abroad sanitation workers, maids, and even gas station employees make more than the UK is robbing their nurses for. Then paying for those overly privileged “royals” to live the high life is unbelievable. You all def deserve better.
I would suggest you do a basic rent deduction (eg: cost of a 2-bed apartment) from net salary (excluding the various taxes that do not appear on payslip and utility bills) in your subsequent comparisons to make the comparisons more objective and informed.
Yeah, I know a nurse renting a 2 bedroom for €650 in Ireland. People always speak like Ireland is Dublin.
I don't see the NHS payslip winning anytime soon 😅
Happy Easter 🐰🐣🎉
UK pay for nurses and cost of living is ridiculous. Been working in the UK as a nurse for 13 years, and nothing is getting better I would say. In 2010, I was only paying £180 for my room all inclusive, I was earning over £1000 and I had still more take home pay.
No body should envy Ireland pay slip. The country is so expensive . The cost of living is so outrageous
And the accomodation/housing crisis is insane
Depends on where you live. If you're talking about Dublin, the exact thing can be said of London as well. Most capitals have high standard of living
It’s not only at Dublin
It's only accommodation that's expensive in Dublin, other things are not so outrageous.

Nanelle, on a lighter note; comparing UK's salary to that of other western countries is a slippery path ooo. And did I hear you say " it's sad that Ireland won" ? Huh?😂 As for our salary di3, compare it to Ghana's , and drink iced tea bi fa dwodwo wo bo na da wae. Let's think of more synonyms for sadness because we'll be needing them in this series of salary comparisons. Inner London mpo nie, na y3n😂😂😂. Let me go and sleep. Anyway, thanks for the video, we'll done as always.
🤣
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I really like the comparisons but, if you could also compare, accommodations, bills, groceries, transport and others will really be amazing ❤❤. That will give us an idea how much you can save in these countries
Thank you
You need to put into consideration healthcare. UK is way cheaper
😂😂😂😂UK on my mind abeg .. why will i start Ireland process when it takes same time as USA abegg na UK for me then Australia 🌏
Nanelle pls feature nursing opportunities in Germany and Australia too let’s see something pls. And if you could get a nurse in Luxembourg too aaa like it will be nice. Thanks
Ok dear
You be better to stick to English-speaking countries only unless you can speak and read German.
I read Ireland’s tax deduction is 40% once u reach 4,000 euros as Salary. But in this pay slip it wasn’t so. Can someone please explain to me why it wasn’t so here
40000e
Waiting for Canada/Australia Vs UK.... Good work Nurse, keep it up. More grease to Ur elbow.
Working on it!
@@NanelleGriselda you're the best....
If your going to base which country to move in because of they're salary you will be moving every year, i would prefer to check out the countries unemployment average, jobs availability and cost of living, because most country pay in regards to the countries cost of living, you can be getting 2gran more but my utilities, housing is way less than you.
👍🏾
Thank you Nanelle. Can you compare UK Nurse payslip and that of a registered Nurse in New Zealand. Thank you

COMPATISON SHOULD BE PAY AND COST OF LIVING, RETIREMENT BUT IRELAND IS NICE
Pls ask her how easy is there pr gotten, training children and schooling. Thanks always nanelle do have a beautiful wkend
Permanent residency is gotten after 2 years of holding a critical skills work permit. Nursing is among the list of critical skill jobs, so you have 2 years to get you PR and after additional 3 years, you can apply for citizenship.
For schooling, public schools are free for primary and secondary schools, you just have to buy the books
Hi great content can you please do one for care assistants. thank you in adv
Wahala too much 😭😭
Ireland is a lovely place. When I try to encourage people to try Ireland instead of UK, the response I get is that Ireland process takes 18months to 2years, so, they can as well channel the same energy to USA since it takes averagely the same time frame.
The process is straightforward and individual circumstances varies
The process is becoming faster
People are getting their Decision letter within 10days now sef

NHS band 5 basic rate(starting salary) is 13.83/hour, that's 27,055 anually.. You will now get increment based on your years of experience, capped at 32,934 per annum. Places like London get higher pay to cover for the cost of living
In theory, but the high cost allowance does not cover for the additional expenses in London. I also don't recommend anyone to stay in band 5 till its maxed out.
If you are in the right place you should be looking at changing bands at a minimum every 2 years.
@@ugommanwadinigwe6020 True... One have to strive to climb up the ladder. The higher you go, the better the salary..
In USA we call it shift differential which is added to you base salary after 3pm so evening differential can be 3 to 4 dollars and night differential 5 to 7 dollars added to your base pay and holiday pay is time and 1/2
Ireland is too expensive
It's supply and ect its basics economics
Love this ❤ well done Nanelle
Please what if I didn’t school in Nigeria. Do I have to go back to Nigeria to become registered to be able to go to Ireland? Can’t I just use my Hungary degree?
Hi, I believe the pay slips belong to Nurses of almost same working experiences. What if someone has got work experience of 20 plus years? Your valuable reply is awaited.
Don’t forget the Pound Sterling is worth more than the Euro!
We should do a German series too
Yhh it’s Germany next week
Very important
It looks like UK is always chopping last in any of these videos 😂😂😂
I think I have to make my payslip available for this challenge. Who knows, maybe we can do something with it the next time. Or I’m dreaming 😂😂😂😂😂
Would love to have it. Carehome ??

NHS pay rate is crap even for band 7 nurse as well. If you want to cash out pretty well upto 5k£-6k£ monthly look out for private owned healthcare companies and work for them except if you are still looking for papers.
Canada and US payslip ooooo
Pls ma
US pays more than Canada. Canadian nurses do come to the US for travel assignments

😂😂😂😂😂 Nanelle sorry waii
Hmmm
ireland wins first because they have more working hours and the rate/hr she compared was 15/hr but as for other nhs basic pay is 18/hr, if 18/hr was used for the comparison then UK Nurse salary will win
UK wouldn't win even if the hours were the same. This is a pay only in London. This is not the salary of majority nurses in the NHS. How about the fact that it's a 2019 Payslip compared with a 2023 payslip. A NHS payslip can never win on a Ireland payslip. It's a known fact that Ireland is one of the best paying countries for nurses.
@@miss_pearl that’s my observation. And i respect yours can’t argue with that. The most important thing is not how much you earn but how much u saved. God bless
@Ocasion Family I get you. I was just stating facts over opinions. It's because I know a nurse in Ireland who lives in a 2 bedrooms house, that is €650 per month. When you consider that Ireland pays more, she obviously saves more. I don't know why Dublin is made the standard of Ireland. Meanwhile, there are cheaper places.
Nanelle you don't respond to texts 😢
Oh I respond to almost every comment you can go through and check for yourself
