Ireland is very very nice country… it is BEAUTIFUL! Irish people are nice and friendly and my time there was amazing. I worked and schooled in a small town with more white people and to be honest, racism was quite low. I love Ireland 🇮🇪. The problem with nursing registration is that if you are self sponsoring it takes forever to finish the recognition stage. NMBI makes the process long and a bit difficult. You could send documents over and over again. The process is not fast as compared to the UK. From my perspective, Ireland is cheaper and they pay more. If you want a more laid back country than the UK, Ireland is your best option.

My wife was here in 2020,I will advise anyone not to come here true this route of self spornship and the employers like cpl that was mentioned here will not even respond to you and if the eventually does ,they will just forward links to you and will not even care to train you like uk employers. The best way to come to Ireland as a nurse is through top up degree, get one year degree and the registration will be smooth without stress. Any other part way will stress the hell out of you. My wife came on self spornship we paid 2800, none of the employer was even ready to at least guide her, she read so hard and past the theory but the practical was an issue. Right as I speak she is a registered nurse in the UK. She wrote the exam ones with the help of the employer.
