I use the zhiyun crane v1 w. a6300 + 80d | Its pretty beat up and Im kinda embarrassed to take it on jobs. It's also off axis by 2 degrees, annoying in post and not sustainable with large lenses but i MAKE DO with kits. No one knows behind camera its a ronin m/s , moza etc.. they just know its a smooth shot if you take your time or rather care in your shots. I was planning to upgrade moza air 2 with a7iii + 16-35mm f.4 and the dream, one day the 24mm 1.4 gm... Or just get the 16mm 1.4 and kill the dream in crop mode... but on second thoughts. I also need something that's too bothersome to carry in my bag. Mirrorless cameras are getting lighter , lenses too. I think the Moza Air might be best suited and if needed, the dual handle bars. I probably just answered my own question....vented thoughts, life of a consumer aye.
I just bought this one. I also have or have had the EVO GP Pro, EVO SS, FeiyuTech G5, G6, G6 plus, a2000, ak2000, DJI Ronin-s, Zhiyun Crane plus, Crane 2 and GoPro karma. I use Sony a7iii, a6500 and obviously GoPros. The great thing about the Moza is the remote. I shoot a lot on boats and other moving vehicles by myself with the gimbal mounted. The separate remote is a most for me. I may give the Moza air 2 a try next.
Great video! Thanks for going into some detail about the small settings in the app to help with functionality. I'm thinking about buying this gimbal, and your video helped a lot!
Thanks for the tip on setting the motors to 70%. Is that a pretty good rule of thumb for most cameras? I just purchased a B-stock Moza Air, which is replacing my current Aircross, now that I have a heavier lens (a Sigma 18-35mm lens seems just a little too heavy for the Aircross).
Hey Austin, I have never shot videos and I just bought this gimbal. I really need some kind of education as of how to put each mode in its best use. Could you make a video which mode do you use for which shots, how do you use it, how do you handle the movement of the camera..etc? Would be very helpful! Subscribed in hopes to see that video coming.
I would like the moza air to follow my movements, while the moza air is on a tripod and I walk past. I have a thumb controller in my hand , how can i set this up?
Great video, I have been considering switching to a motorized gimbal and this video helped. I am currently using a Flycam HD-5000 which I got so I wouldn't have to deal with batteries, but man I love the buttery smooth quality from a motorized gimbal!
I have a question about the Moza Air Gimbal, when I try to do the roll mode or when I try to move the camera to another position with the joystick, I can only move it like 90° or something and then it just stops... Is it broken or what did I do wrong? Would really appreciate your help! ❤️
Hello ! Thanks for the video ! It's been a while the Moza Air is on my wishlist and I'm now ready to get it ! Only question I still have about it : should I get the kit with or without the dual handle ? Do you notice huge differences using one or the other ?
I really like the handle on big projects or music videos. Anything where I need to hold the gimbal for long periods of time, the dual handle definitely helps - but if you're just doing travel films or sparingly out in the field, dual handle isn't really needed.
Hell i bought the moza air gimbal. But i am having difficulties trying to connect it with my fujifilm xt100 camera i dont think the usb that the gimbal came with are compatible with it. PLEASE do i have to change my camera ?
Exactly that's the biggest thing that makes it the bestt because it has been introduced in ronin s and only moza air now has that feature at such low price unlike zhiyun crane etc! Buddy I love your work tho ❤️❤️ thank you so much for reply please reply again some thing big fan of yours💕💕
i want to buy it for my photography and videography channel . Does this one does object trackign its not sth i need to have but would be very nice. Still without this featuresi consider it. I only have a manual steadycam its great but i think there are some things you can do much smoother with a gimbal and i am very good with a steadycam. My second question is can you use cameras which are attached to baterry grips? or do you have to detach the battery grip?
I've had my Moza Air for 24 hours and adjusted numerous aspects, including lowering the motor power, but still my footage jitters and jumps around, not smooth at all. I'm walking slowly and as smoothly as I can. I have a light set up (Blackmagic Pocket with a Voigtlander lens), I'm wondering if it's too light for the gimbal. Starting to lose enthusiasm for this thing. Any help?
Chris Whitten hey Chris, not sure if it’s too late or if you’ve fixed it, but I use a gh5 with voigtlander 17.5mm and 10mm as my main wedding setup. I love the MOZA but have had a fair share of quirks. One is, as far as my mileage goes, there does seem to be a minimum weight to which the system starts having less issues. For me, I have to use a cage as well, the voking without handle, coming right at 3 lbs and at profile 3 it gave me no issues. Anything less than that at any other profile and I get micro jitters and slanted horizons I have to fix in post, and it becomes unusable with 60fps and above. The jitters become freaking prof Xavier seizure esque. The voigt is a heavy lens, so whatever ur setup make sure you have enough counterbbalance. I also use small weights on one side of the cage as it helps but not essential. PS I have also found that using Eos DSLR profile gives way better results, all other settings the same. Not sure if the GH profile was created by a different software team, but yeah. Kinda sucks not having my hit to record button tho
Oh great to see you ! (You may remember me i am "Gryfentitane974") 😅 I'm looking for a cardan for a while and I think I'll turn to the crane 2 for the follow focus motor that fit the manual lenses that i want to buy ! Thanks for the review ! See you soon on the channel, thanks ! 😉
Adrien Payet hey, yes I do! It’s been awhile, glad to see you in the comments again! I mean it’s pretty cool that the gimbal brands are catering to every filmmaker with unique options. Hopefully one day they will offer one base gimbal with these various upgrades!
Yes it would be great! The one you're testing here is great but I wish I could use it with a bigger camera in the future, and with a follow focus motor, so I think I'll wait for an update on Crane 2! It's always a pleasure to watch your videos and talk to you, keep creating thank you!
I've had a lot of trouble getting my a7iii to work with the connecting cable so I can control the start / stop button. Any tips, or is it just not compatible?
51 Drones sweet! Been following his channel since the Part 107 study guide (which I plan to take soon enough). Thanks for joining my community as well 🤙🏻
It's super beneficial especially when shooting for long periods of time, immensely helps alot with the weight distribution so I can focus on important stuff like framing, movement, etc!
NBW DOUGHBOY loved working with this gimbal, so much potential for some projects I’m working on! It can supports up to 5.5 pounds. The test footage here was all shot with my a7sii on the gimbal and both a 24-70 for tests and 28mm f2
Lucifer Media Labs nice, much respect. I tried learning those but had such a difficult time coordinating the turning of the main component while not tilting it.
You shakiness was because you didn't balance your gimbal properly. The first thing which you should do is balance your plate in that way, where your camera will be standing horizontaly not like in the video - where your lens is directed down.

Cool, one day if i have spare enough money.. i m going to get it.. thankyou for the review man! Love it!
Sir Im planning to buy MOZA AIR but my current Set up is Canon 70D & Canon 10-22mm. Do you think it will fit even though it's too heavy?
Great video! I’m using an Air as well.
Thanks for the tip on setting the motors to 70%. Is that a pretty good rule of thumb for most cameras?

Man!!!! Moza has new firmware now which enables it to get an sports mode and inception mode!! This is the biggest thing about it🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I'll definitely be using that for future videos. Pretty cool stuff

I am Moza locked in!!! I have the one you have plus the Moza Mini for my phone
Question :
I don't have a cell phone and wonder if I need to change gimbal settings if I can do it through my laptop (or internet router signal) ?

Just picked up a Moza Air on ebay for $125. Used once. Love it
Is this the Air 1 or 2? If it's the Air 1 this is sick!
I'm trying to figure that out too!
Hey that’s me! Cool video and thanks for the shout out!
Keep the beard for some reason I thought u always had one lmao haha
Thanks for letting me know about your MOZA! Ha, definitely not a beard guy. We'll see how long it stays haha
Great review
Wot about hyperlapse and vertigo effect ??
Andrin Issac good for both! Even has the built in “Inception” mode in Mode 4
Austin Newman can u do video regarding that ? 😍
Andrin Issac sure can, I’ll add it to the list 🤘🏻
to use it in inverted mode (with the camera down and the handle up) as in the minute 04:44 how many times do you have to press the jostick?

I've had a lot of trouble getting my a7iii to work with the connecting cable so I can control the start / stop button. Any tips, or is it just not compatible?
Think you have to Set the Cam to " remote"

Just found your channel through your comment on Tony's video. Great stuff. Subbed.

Notif gang!! I use Feiyutech a2000 + dual handles!
I had the a2000 for awhile. Feiyutech makes a great gimbal as well! I never got to use the dual handles though. How do you like them?
It's super beneficial especially when shooting for long periods of time, immensely helps alot with the weight distribution so I can focus on important stuff like framing, movement, etc!
I'll have to check those out next chance I get with the a2000
Can i use my canon t7i with moza air 3?
which camera is that?
Great video man. Gimbal looks dope!!! How much weight can that gimbal handle?
NBW DOUGHBOY loved working with this gimbal, so much potential for some projects I’m working on!

Lucifer Media Labs nice, much respect. I tried learning those but had such a difficult time coordinating the turning of the main component while not tilting it.
👌🔥💪
My screw won’t even fit for my Sony a 6300 !
There should be a Adapter in the package .Or may its already installed. There are only Tel sizes in cams. You need the smaller one !😉
Moza Air2
