I just picked one of these up for $186 on ebay. In typical fashion I bought something a couple years after it has come out just so I can get a cheaper price.
I ordered one from B&H BUT no battery adapter for the camera is included. You might have to update your information on this since that was a big disappointment for me.
Hi Dan, Great informative video! I just got the Moza AirCross for a few hours. I was able to calibrate and operate the gimbal with my Sony A7R3 mirrorless camera out of the box. However, there are 2 major issues that I found so far: 1. I just CAN’T connect/pair the AirCross via Bluetooth with my iPhoneX. I also tried my other phones like HTC (Android), iPhone5 etc. and seeing the exact same issue. Not only the MOZA app or the MOZA Assistant app can’t find the AirCross but neither the phone native Bluetooth function can “see” any kind of AirCross device nearby. I reset the phone and recycled the power etc, none worked. I then successfully upgraded the Gimbal Firmware to v1.1.14 using MOZA Assistant Software v3.3.2 via my Windows PC USB connection. But after the firmware upgrade, it still didn’t resolve the Bluetooth connecting/pairing issue. 2. After connecting the gimbal to the camera with the provided control cable, I was able to take picture by double quick press the power button on the gimbal. However, one quick press on the power button doesn’t start/stop the video recording regardless what modes (video, P, A, S, M, Auto, etc) the camera is set to. Wonder if you or anyone has these same issues.
Was looking at a very little used 2nd-hand Crane, but found some one selling one of these opened but unused. The clincher is that you mentioned that they use Manfrotto mounts (which I use)!
Hi! Do you have a recommendation for how to mount a monitor directly to this gimbal? I can find plenty of info about the aircross 2 but not the original model
BHPhoto has again, their sale price for the Moza Aircross - $329, free shipping, and free thumb controller. Sale price still good today, but says also it will expire today. I ordered the Moza. Thanks Dan for the referral!
I simply can't recommend the aircross. I have a Panosonic g7 and when I use it with the kit lens, a 14-42 mm, it works beautifully, but as long as there's no extreme motions. As soon as I tilt it a lot the gimbal stay balanced and function normally, but the motor on the side becomes very noisy. When I put the rokinon 12 mm cine lens, which would be ideal on a gimbal, the gimbal is also perfectly balanced but the engine is too noisy and would be heard on any mic around. Motion is smooth though, but the noise is ridiculous. I think the aircross is not powerful enough and I suggest people go with the Moza air instead.
Just got one of these and returning it. Not to burst anyone's bubbles, but they sent 2 and the app would not recognize the Moza or plugging in didn't work either for 2 gimbals. DJI products are literally plug and play - going to wait and just lug around the Ronin until the S comes out.
Hi Dan! Im torn between feiyutech a1000 and moza aircross. Which of the 2 has less micro vibration? Being both has almost the same weight capacity since the new feiyu has a 1.7kg capacity on the newer ones. I think you’re the best person to ask since you tested both. Thanks
Thanks for taking the time to post a helpful review! Im highly interested in the timelapse function especially since this seems to be the only gimbal on the market that has 'move-shot-move' functionality to work with Sony a7s II. Ive always shot star time lapses on a tripod...how stable is the gimbal when it sits on the tripod bottom? Does the gimbal 'freeze' sufficiently to allow for long-exposure (~20 sec) shots during a night time lapse before moving to the next spot? Ive never owned a handheld gimbal and just wondering how this one would perform in long exposure settings with a little bit of wind to allow for in-focus images vs a traditional tripod?
hi there , would you recomend this gimbal with a 6d? my camera payload is 1,4kg with lens included , in theory should be nice , some coments about it ? Thank you !
The Zhiyun Crane v2 has been dropping down to $470 recently which is only $50 more. I like the timelapse features and battery charging of the moza aircross but I have heard that the crane is the best all around reliable gimbal. Which do you think I should go for?
+Chiron Martini the feature that won me over with the AirCross was the built in Manfrotto or arca Swiss tripod plate. If that doesn't sound appealing for you, the v2 does give you the handles and that sale price is great. But I loved the built in tripod plate option
shoot longer and make a cut while it is still moving - pretty easy fix for it stopping so quickly....I don't see why that would be a problem as there are a million ways to work around this issue..
Hi Dan, really looking at getting the aircross but I use the manfrotto 323 quick release system. Didn’t know if you knew if I am able to attach the 323 receiver to the back of the baseplate and still be able to fully articulate the camera? Thanks
Hi Dan i have the a7riii i like the two gimbals soo which is the best gimbal for you and for your work the aircross o the air ? Only perfonmace not for money value. Thx alot.
I definitely prefer the aircross and it handles the a7RIII so that would be my choice. Unless you have super heavy F2.8 zoom lenses or adapters in which case you might want the Air.
Thanks for the wonderful explanation, I would like to ask if you know if the Gimbel supports and works with the Panasonic G7, does the supplied cable control the recording or pause of video?
I know you can power the gimbal remotely but I don't have that charger so not sure if it also charges the battery. I'm pretty sure you will need to travel with the charger which is bulky but does fit in the case.
Thanks for the excellent review! Is it possible to attach both an external mic and an external monitor? Or only one of them? Do you need to buy extra gear in order to attach those accessories?
You need to have the dual handle bar and then some kind of a clamp to hold those on. Then you can attach anything you want to those and run cables from the monitor/mic to the camera
Hey Dan, great video. Does the case accommodate the dual handle grips? Also do you think the AirCross would handle my GH5 with a Rode mic and a small HD Focus with the Panasonic/Leica 42.5 lens or should I consider the Air?
Thanks! I can't remember about the case. The gimbal should hold that with your monitor and mic mounted to the dual handle though you are right at that tipping point where I would probably recommend the new Air 2: ruclips.net/video/1pPo-hh-YCU/видео.html
Generally you are using a wider angle lens on a gimbal. Stopped down to f5.6 or slower it gives you the depth of field to shoot manual focus using zone focusing. If you are close to your subject move in an arc around it to maintain a constant distance.
yes the most of filmaker learn to control depth of field there are apps out there which calculate for you, in fact it is rare see them using autofocus, other complicated gear is reserved to very pro payed filmakers, but don´t suffer the depth of field control is easy and works even better than autofocus
So great video! I have Fuji X-T20 and 23mm F2. Can I control shooting movie and taking picture by button on gimbal? or can I control shooting by ios App?
Two questions for you. 1. If I was going to bring this on vacation would I be able to leave it assembled and throw it in a camera backpack? 2. This would be my 1st gimbal do you have a lens( prime vs zoom) you feel works better than others when shooting with it?
1. Probably not with the camera on it unless it's a decent size backpack 2. Generally somewhere in the 20-35mm focal range is my favorite although I will sometimes use a 50mm for tighter shots but don't try to do a ton of movement if you have tighter lenses. What camera do you have?
The Air 2 is out and 'i just made a video on it. Big fan personally but for smaller setups, the aircross or weebill lab might be fine. Skip the original air
Thanks for answering so fast! I mostly do out doors videos in Patagonia. I was thinking GlideCam Hd 4000, I am kind of short in budget. Do you think is worth it?
Hi Dan, any plans to make a video on parameters for the aircross gimbal? It would be great to have some explanation for those of us new to gimbals. Thanks for the great videos!
Nice Review Dan. i'm looking for budget Gimbal. Is this a good gimbal to work with Sony A7iii with Tamron 28-75 or Sony 24-105 lens? Pls suggest. Thanks in advance
Did you get anything yet? If so what and how do you like it if you dont mind my asking? I have been looking for months and pretty much settled on the DJI Ronin S 3 axis gimbal for DSLR & Mirrorless (I have the Canon EOS M50. I need so many things however that i decided to get the DJI Mavic Pro 2 Drone First b4 anything else (just bought it last month and am dropping our first video with it and about it this weekend) But i was glad that i waited to get the gimbal (pretty much decided on the Ronin S for my gimbal but needed to wait b4 i could afford it!) So in waiting just Yesterday I saw a bunch of creators reviewing the *New DJI Ronin SC 3 axis Gimbal with a 2.0 payload!* And this was supposed to have all the bugs from the Ronin fixed and LESS expensive!! So glad i waited bc after watching several creators that I trust and Love what they do (Peter Mckinnon, Matti, Sara Deautchy, Potato Jet) they all really like this gimbal and at a Lower price...I DID order it! I can let you know when i get it (not until Middle of Aug - Sep is my delivery date?!?!) But if you did get something i would love to hear what you think and which one it is? Thank you Rajan.
@@1maripaul Awesome to hear from you. Thanks for reaching out to me. Actually i still never purchased the drone yet as i was still looking for the past 2 months for the best gimbal. I think i found the gimbal i was looking for, its the new DJI Ronin SC. :-) I did not order yet. probably i will order it in few weeks. Once you get them let me know your experiences with it. Thank you.
I have the same gimbal.....arrived about a month ago and I am now trying to set it up and get used to it for the coming season. It said in the reviews that it was compatible with the Fuji XT2 hower, the micro USB cable that came with it is for sony and will not fit in my Fuji micro USB port??? Do you know where I could get a cable that would fit....i have emailed Moza and Amazon with no response from either, pretty shitty....It has next to zero documentation explaining how to use it......can you suggest where I can get a cable that will fit my Fuji? also, I do have the horizontal bar, if I bought the auto thumb controller would that eliminate the need for the cable? One last question, should the camera be lose and quite free when you are filming or should it be more in the mode like you get when zooming or panning? - I really know next to nothing about this device and your video has been the most informative I have found so far. If you could help me with a couple of my questions, I would greatly appreciate it - cheers man!!
So I don't have any affiliation with the company so I can't really comment on customer service and also have not used it with a Fuji so not sure what's up with the fit. The cable is for being able to start/stop recording (and change some camera settings like shutter speed but I never use it for that) from the buttons on the gimbal. The thumb controller would still need a USB connection to the camera in order to do that. Not sure exactly what you mean on the last question. The camera should be firmly connected to the gimbal always with all screws tight. I usually keep my sensitivities down pretty low so that the gimbal responds slowly
Hi Dan, would you be able to give me the name of the Music used at the start plz. I would buy this over Ronin-S would be for the weight. I think Ronin-S is abt 900 grams heavier and also the price factor.
Never used a gimbal and have a question about the rated weight allowance. Is the rated weight for the camera that is mounted on the actual gimbal not including any other accessories you might mount on the optional dual handles...? I have a video light, separate audio recorder, Focus HD monitor and microphone in addition to my Sony a6500 camera that I have to mount to it. So do I have to total up all the accessories in addition to the camera or just the camera (since that is what will be mounted to the motorized gimbal part)...?
Just the weight of the camera, lens, and any accessories you have mounted to the camera. You can mount anything you want to the handles...at that point the limit is your biceps lol
Dan, it's nice to have a go-to guy like you who reviews most all of these gimbals we consumers salivate over. Quick question...you mentioned you rarely used the cases because you don't like to break down the gimbals. How do you store them if you're on the go? Loose in a backpack? Something else?
Hey John, Thanks! I typically strap it to the side of my backpack and occasionally I'll stuff them inside with the handle sticking out the top (they don't fit in mine). Otherwise it's in my hand or in my tripod case getting banged around. I wish someone would come out with a good way of carrying these.
I actually just got the a1000 from them because it has a different placement for the back motor so you can see the screen on the Sony cameras. Not sure I'd pick the a2000 over some of the others.
I had a very bad experience with the pilotfly so am thinking about a better lighter and more flexible gimbal for a mirrorless set up (olympus em1 mkii). Am very tempted by this one but the weaknesses of customer support, software and the quick remote is worrying. Not sure how this would compare to the new dji ronin s (i already use the dji osmo mobile for an iphone), or the new zhiyu crane coming out?
The Crane Plus is the newest one out (I just got it in) but honestly I'm not a fan of the app and it doesn't have the ability to use tripod plates which I think are issues. I prefer the software on the Moza Aircross. I hope to get the Ronin S when it comes out. I expect it to be a great gimbal but DJI is knows for requiring you to use their accessories rather than just throwing 1/4 ports and allowing you to get what you want. I also believe it will be more expensive.
Dan Watson thanks. Helpful. I like the idea if something light and simple and the dual handle function add on of the aircross. Am thinking about real estate videos especially (in combination with drone footage). Very hard to tell but looks like the ronin s is likely larger and heavier. The smoothness of a good slider which is what i also use for other purposes is what i am looking for in the gimbal as i walk through real estate or perhaps even social events - and pet photography (not portrait stuff). I also saw mention of a came tv gimbal. Perhaps i should wait and look at a real comparison when its out between the ronin s and aircross. I dont intend to buy until april anyway. Thanks again
question for me is Can it support gh5, sigma 18-35mm? if so Im selling my ronin m and going for this instead, I want a control set for full control of gimbal, camera start stop.
What I do is mount the external monitor to the body of the Aircross or to the dual handle bar using this: amzn.to/2OFWt7V I would not try using an external monitor on the A73 hotshoe. The only thing I ever put on there when using a gimbal is a mic and usually I still attach it to the gimbal handle
Hey I just bought an AirCross and I'm having issues with my GH4 and 12-35. The footage is very shaky, almost like its handheld. Is there a way to adjust the settings of the motors. It's just not "smooth" at all.... I have a wedding this saturday! any advice?
Thank you a lot for the answer! Going to order it then. Saw Brandon Li used the auto stabilization with the app. It would be really good feature in the set, if you need to change lenses.
Nice video...Do you mount a monitor? The Moza Air is on sale at B&H for $399 today for another 8 hours...That badboy comes with the dual handles and a 7 lb payload. That's a KILLER deal!
Not with a flip screen camera. Most of my cameras balanced so that I can only go inverted using the left side of the camera so if the camera had a flip screen, I had to flip the flip screen back in before I can go inverted. But if your camera doesn't have a flip screen like Sony cameras, it's easy to go inverted.
You dont get the handle and the controller for 419 $ thats only included in the 600€ moza air package. I will get an aircross soon too for reviewing it
It is compatible with some Nikon cameras but you will need to go to the Moza website for a full list. Don't know which ones have support and I'm not affiliated with the company
Dan Watson My order sent to warehouse, which is air, paid only $399 You said cross has more features , can you tell me difference between air & aircros plz. Which one has follow me mode?
Really appreciate that!!! Ronin S definitely looks cool. Typically they have higher prices so my guess would be close to $700 with no accessories and DJI also has a habit of making things very proprietary and skimping on 1/4 20 ports to mount accessories without their specific adapters. I'm also not sure I dig their tripod adapter which also looks custom and really tall but we'll see
I actually hope for a much lower price this time because they offer the Osmo Mobile 2 for just 129 USD now (previous price of Osmo 1 was 299 USD) and there already is lots of competition out there. But we will see ... thanks again!
Hi guys I’m new to the videography world. I’m using the same gimbal shown in the video and I am looking to buying the dual grips. But I’m having a little dilema. How would I go about mounting my rode shotgun mic on to the gimbal? And will I need a longer mic cable? Also I want to use my iPhone as a field monitor. How would I go about mounting that to the gimbal. Can anyone breakdown this process for me and direct me to the accessories I will need to purchase? It’ll be very helpful! Thank you.
Hey! So the method I use is this: amzn.to/3gUVMq3 These work well for mounting accessories and yes you would need a 1/8" extension cable...about 6" at least
If you use Manfrotto or Arca Swiss tripod plates or if you want to shoot timelapses, absolutely get the aircross. Otherwise the Crane V2 is still a good choice
Dan Watson I thought crane v2. Can do time lapse too? Which one perform better as gimbal? Is there control cable for canon or battery support as their website isn’t clear?
Also aircross has a limited tilt axis of -175 to 135, while crane has 360, does that matter? You mention the remote control isn’t very smooth, will they make the software and control better?
Thanks for saying this, as I was a bit worried about the maximum 1800g payload. The 6D mk II and the Tamron 24-70 2.8 come in at 1590g ...so it's good to know that the payload is meeting expectations!
Hello I saw your tutorials on MOZA Air and MOZA Air Cross. Both are almost identical but there are advantages and disadvantages in one as in the other. So I would like to have your opinion on the choice to make between the two models. Because I like the mimic motion control of MOZA Air Cross I also like the 360 ° rotation of the MOZA Air too. So, as you can see, I'm shared between this two Gimbals. As I know that you have tried the both, a little help would not be refused. I have a GH4 and Canon EOS 7D. Thank you in advance for your help
So the Aircross will fit the GH4 with just about any Panasonic lens no problem and I prefer it to the Air as it's lighter, accepts tripod plates, and has better timelapse options. The 7D might be a tougher fit depending on the lenses so if you want to fly that with a substantial lens, or if you use the GH4 with a speedbooster and heavy lens, you might need the Air.
Hello Henrique yes I took a Moza AirCross and everything seems ok, except the synchronization of mimic control with gimbal and control through the Moza phone application. The bluetooth signal is loose all the time. I would like to know too, in what mode should we film with this gimbal, because it is in automatic or manual, it is difficult to control the focusMay be Dan Watson will tell me more. Thanks
Great video and explanation of this new gimbal. I am on the fence between this, Crane v2 and still want to see what the Zhiyun Crane-plus (just announced) will offer. I know crane plus will also offer the camera control cables in box and the battery charger is much smaller than the moss (That charger for traveling is huge, which makes the case bigger (even of you do not bring the charger on a trip). The Crane v2 price right now just seems like a great deal and I already know the Zhiyun app from my Smooth Q.
Hey, thanks! So I actually just got the Crane Plus in and will have a video on that shortly. Right now I would say if you have tripods that are Arca Swiss or Manfrotto, I would lean towards the aircross for sure. The Crane Plus is designed to replace the V2 so it's more expensive but has everything the V2 has and more so the only reason to get the V2 would be to save $$$.
Dan Watson Good review!! Please do a comparison video for moza air cross vs crane plus as both of them seems like targeted mirrorless camera user market now. Im so hard to make decision because hardly find the comparison video in youtube yet🙁
With a light lens you probably can but if the weight is heavy, you will want to get the Moza Air (not the aircross) or Crane 2 which both support larger weights. This is a smaller gimbal for smaller cameras.
Thanks for your video and your introduction! It is really fascinating. Looking forward to more of your good works and please tag gudsenmoza when you upload your video if you want a surprise. We would check the RUclips from time to time and send a gift to those who have made a great video. We will PM you directly if you are that lucky guy!
I just picked one of these up for $186 on ebay. In typical fashion I bought something a couple years after it has come out just so I can get a cheaper price.
78K subs with this quality cinematography and this much detail put into review? Is RUclips broken? Earned my sub.
Hahahaha, well thank you so much!!! I appreciate you being sub 78001!
I ordered one from B&H BUT no battery adapter for the camera is included. You might have to update your information on this since that was a big disappointment for me.
Hi Dan,

Wonder if you or anyone has these same issues.
Was looking at a very little used 2nd-hand Crane, but found some one selling one of these opened but unused. The clincher is that you mentioned that they use Manfrotto mounts (which I use)!
Whats the grip you had on it called? and where can I buy one
Interesting. Can you put on a tripod and set this to pan slowly with the camera shooting video at normal speed (i.e. not as a timelapse)?
Your video presentation is excellent where to buy the dual handles?
Hi! Do you have a recommendation for how to mount a monitor directly to this gimbal? I can find plenty of info about the aircross 2 but not the original model

What do you think about the Tilta G2X? are you making a review on that one? thanks!

How do you typically focus on the GH5 when attached to a gimbal? Since the video autofocus isn't very reliable.

With the 2.3 firmware I think it is now a realistic option to use autofocus
What change? autofocus and focus tracking now work really well
So great video!
I have Fuji X-T20 and 23mm F2.
Can I control shooting movie and taking picture by button on gimbal?
or can I control shooting by ios App?
This looks nice, but I am thinking of the Crane 2. I know more expensive, but willing to pay more for more features. Cheers !
where did you get the handles and your bracket for the mic

Dan Watson I’m using the Canon M6.
For how long can the battery power the camera and gimball together?
Can you please share the link from where I can buy those dual crossbars for this? Thanks :)
Hello friend! what gimbal do you recomend me for may sony fdr ax700?
I'm thinking about buying one of those.
But I doubt a lot between the air and the aircross. I have a set up that weights more or less 1.2 kg

Hi Dan! thanks you the video!!! Do you think it could handle a Canon MarkIII + Canon 24-70mm weight?
No, I would get the Crane 2 or Ronin S with that setup.
Thanks for answering so fast! I mostly do out doors videos in Patagonia. I was thinking GlideCam Hd 4000, I am kind of short in budget. Do you think is worth it?
the proper way to invert the gimbol please? to use it upside down
Hi Dan, any plans to make a video on parameters for the aircross gimbal? It would be great to have some explanation for those of us new to gimbals. Thanks for the great videos!
I need some help myself haha! Hopefully Moza will make one but I probably will not
Nice Review Dan. i'm looking for budget Gimbal.
Thank you.
wait! there is a gimbal that can timelapse even tho dslr doesnt have timelapse built in?
Awesome...I knew all those hours in the gym would pay off! lol
Hey I just ordered the feiyutech a2000 with dual handle bars, do you think its a good buy for my sony a6300 compare to the moza air?
Thanks again
i lvoved the first transitions, so eazy so seamless
:D:D
How do we get that transition? Im new and learning if anyone can help
Hi, can you please tell me what mic holder do you use in this video?
Thanks
Hey! Something like this: amzn.to/2xyItJZ
Dan Watson great!
question for me is Can it support gh5, sigma 18-35mm? if so Im selling my ronin m and going for this instead, I want a control set for full control of gimbal, camera start stop.
jason lindquist did you buy it? I am now looking at this gimbal with exact setup. Can aircross work with that weigh?
Question.... can someone tell me why I can't order spare batteries for my Moza Aircross on Amazon & Ebay...and others ?
Great vid!! Would this work with the nikon d3500?
Same cuestion
Have they done a firmware update for this thing yet?
Hi Dan! Would an external monitor combined with the a7m3 be to heavy for Moza air cross?
What I do is mount the external monitor to the body of the Aircross or to the dual handle bar using this: amzn.to/2OFWt7V
I would not try using an external monitor on the A73 hotshoe. The only thing I ever put on there when using a gimbal is a mic and usually I still attach it to the gimbal handle
Dan Watson thank you!
Would this support a Rebel SL2 with a sigma 30mm 1.4?
yes
Hey I just bought an AirCross and I'm having issues with my GH4 and 12-35. The footage is very shaky, almost like its handheld. Is there a way to adjust the settings of the motors. It's just not "smooth" at all.... I have a wedding this saturday! any advice?
You can adjust all the settings in the app. Ideally use an Apple device as the app works better right now
Dan Watson thanks! I have the app. what settings effect the torque of the motors? Perhaps it’s shaky because of weight is not calibrated right?
Can I use your the canon rebel t6
What's name of gimbal grip?
Awesome review. Looking at buying one this week.
you can get it from here: goo.gl/Zvm7UQ
If you would need to decide between zhiyun crane v2 or moza aircross, what would it be?
Right now I would get the Aircross because of the tripod plate compatibility
Thank you a lot for the answer! Going to order it then. Saw Brandon Li used the auto stabilization with the app. It would be really good feature in the set, if you need to change lenses.
Nice video...Do you mount a monitor? The Moza Air is on sale at B&H for $399 today for another 8 hours...That badboy comes with the dual handles and a 7 lb payload. That's a KILLER deal!
Is it easy to go inverted without adjusting the balance knobs?
Not with a flip screen camera. Most of my cameras balanced so that I can only go inverted using the left side of the camera so if the camera had a flip screen, I had to flip the flip screen back in before I can go inverted. But if your camera doesn't have a flip screen like Sony cameras, it's easy to go inverted.
You dont get the handle and the controller for 419 $ thats only included in the 600€ moza air package. I will get an aircross soon too for reviewing it
Will it work with Nikon light weight Dslrs? Is it compatible with Nikon?
can I take motion time-lapse with a Nikon camera?
It is compatible with some Nikon cameras but you will need to go to the Moza website for a full list. Don't know which ones have support and I'm not affiliated with the company
@@learningcameras thank you
Thanks for a valuable review.
Moza air or FeiyuTech a1000.
Which one do you prefer ?
The A1000 if you have a really light setup and the Moza Aircross if it's a bit larger
Great gimbal work. You probably already know this, but that tower in the background kind of is an eyesore.
will this work for the a7iii and the tamron 28-75 RXD??
Yep, you should be good
What kind of adapter is your mic attached to the gimbal with?
This one: amzn.to/2Fk9nnY
Thanks!!!!
What is difference between Moza air & Moza Aircross? Which one do you recommended to buy?
Payload capacity...7 lbs with the Air.. Depends on what you're trying to carry. On sale today for $399 at B&H..
Get the aircross unless you need more than 4lb capacity. Link to a great sale in the description!
It was sale on B&H. That is the reason My question was, which has more features’ Like to buy stuffs that gives you more access
The aircross has more features
Dan Watson My order sent to warehouse, which is air, paid only $399 You said cross has more features , can you tell me difference between air & aircros plz. Which one has follow me mode?
Can someone tell me where to get the microphone holder?
Does anyone know if it will handle a Sony a6500 with Sigma 18-35 lens?
Hey! Will it work well with Canon 200D?
Yep! Sure will
@@learningcameras would it work with the canon t6? pls help
@@GTSBLacky Yes, anything smaller than a 5D series camera should work fine as long as you don't put a crazy large lens on it
im having a total 4.5 weight (camera + lens ) can AirCross handled that load?
no
Can u use it with canon sl2/200d
Yep! Although I don't think you will be able to control camera settings from the gimbal but I never use that anyway
Ok Thanks for answering
VERY nice. Am also waiting for the Ronin-S price though .... Thanks for the great reviews!
You won't get a much lower price. Dan is right. If that thing comes it at less than 700 I'll buy it for you myself ha
Hi man, Great video. I was wondering what music did you put under those first insane looking shots?
+Jasper Stender thanks! I have a link to where I got the music in the description
I noticed, but it's linking to the general website and not the song itself
+Jasper Stender She by Angel Salazar - Direction Jupiter
Hi I have a camara Nikon D5300 can I use in this gimbal
If your camera + lens weights less than 1.8 kg and you balance it well it should be possible.
@@jerry9548 thanks
Liked and subbed after the amazing intro shots! Thanks for the review!
Awesome!!! Thanks
Canon 77d how can this gimbal support s
Hi guys I’m new to the videography world. I’m using the same gimbal shown in the video and I am looking to buying the dual grips. But I’m having a little dilema. How would I go about mounting my rode shotgun mic on to the gimbal? And will I need a longer mic cable? Also I want to use my iPhone as a field monitor. How would I go about mounting that to the gimbal. Can anyone breakdown this process for me and direct me to the accessories I will need to purchase? It’ll be very helpful! Thank you.
Hey! So the method I use is this: amzn.to/3gUVMq3
These work well for mounting accessories and yes you would need a 1/8" extension cable...about 6" at least
Is a Sony rx100 V too light for this?
Hi can you please link the microphone attachment?
I use these: amzn.to/2L3TVyn
Mr. Watson, will the Moza Aircross will support /balance Canon 70D/ Canon 80D?
Crane v2 dropped to $399 so which one? Moza aircrosss or Crane v2
You mention the remote control isn’t very smooth, will they make the software and control better?
this moza aircros work for canon 80D WITH LENS tAMARON 24-70
Weight wise it should. I used my 6D Mark II with the tamron 24-70
Thanks for saying this, as I was a bit worried about the maximum 1800g payload. The 6D mk II and the Tamron 24-70 2.8 come in at 1590g ...so it's good to know that the payload is meeting expectations!
Good video bro
Hello
I saw your tutorials on MOZA Air and MOZA Air Cross.
Both are almost identical but there are advantages and disadvantages in one as in the other.
So I would like to have your opinion on the choice to make between the two models.
Because I like the mimic motion control of MOZA Air Cross
I also like the 360 ° rotation of the MOZA Air too.
Thank you for all explanations.
I will choose the AirCross for lightness.
I use the GH4 more than the CANON.
Once again thank you
Did u already buy it Douma? I have the same problem here, GH5 and 5D, many lenses... if yout already try, say me something! Thanks man
Hello Henrique
yes I took a Moza AirCross and everything seems ok, except the synchronization of mimic control with gimbal and control through the Moza phone application.
The bluetooth signal is loose all the time.
I would like to know too, in what mode should we film with this gimbal, because it is in automatic or manual, it is difficult to control the focusMay be Dan Watson will tell me more. Thanks
can i use AirCross with (SONY a6300 + Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 + MC-11 adapter) which is all about 4.5 load weight
That's probably over the limit. I would check out the Zhiyun Crane 2 for those loads: amzn.to/2FTNwo8
What lenses do u use?
@Angga with what camera? I used the GH5 with the 12-35mm a ton and the A7RIII with the Sony 28mm F2
Caroltsy hey man, I try to make the same decision right now. Have you decided yet?
Hi ! Does your unit also has a gap between the motor and the arm ? Heres's a picture: drive.google.com/open?id=1YO52sw8WQPnhGQfT6SdwXLHkrpLaVPYB
Be careful. Never Never Never use any gimbal of Moza, worst quality ever used!!
Same experience. And now I am using FeiyuTech AK4000, better quanlity and gimbal performance.
What's your experience with it? Currently looking for a gimbal under $500
I can´t use canon7d whit Moza?
With a light lens you probably can but if the weight is heavy, you will want to get the Moza Air (not the aircross) or Crane 2 which both support larger weights. This is a smaller gimbal for smaller cameras.
Thanks for your video and your introduction! It is really fascinating. Looking forward to more of your good works and please tag gudsenmoza when you upload your video if you want a surprise. We would check the RUclips from time to time and send a gift to those who have made a great video. We will PM you directly if you are that lucky guy!
What is difference between Moza air & Moza Aircross? Which one do you recommended to buy?
