It's like an old school track hawk all it needs is some fancy AWD parts and suspension and a strong rear end then a T400 from gearstar and you've got a vintage track hawk.
I've had 2 sets of boggers along with many other brands of off road tires, the boggers are expensive but boy, they really are bad ass! I siped mine, even better. Good choice
If you stand the bare block on its bellhousing end, you can let gravity help you drop the camshaft in while you reach thru an emply crankcase to guide it past the cam bearings. you can even lube it up as you do so, keeping the mess inside the block where it belongs. Then spin your flat tappet cam and watch to make sure the lifters are spinning as they should--if not, they're going to wipe themselves out, so fix it now (hopefully a quick pass with brake hone will do the trick, but chances are you have a poorly ground flat tappet lifter and need to replace it). Then, install the crank, and use a fish scale to pull each piston and rod combo in--if any cylinder requires more pull on the fish scale, you know you have a piston ring hanging up and better fix it now.
I had a 69 with a Buick 231 v 6 !! That thing had sick torque!! Almost killed myself and 2 other people, rolled it. Glad everyone got away barely hurt.. That thing went everywhere but with no roll bar it was dangerous as hell!!! Now it's the yard truck at our local junkyard. They use it all the time to get parts.
dang, sounds just like my scout as well...hahahaha I started rebuilding it a few years ago and now Iit's back to just taking up garage space sitting...not interested in it anymore.....to many projects/hobbies....$$
I don't think it's normally hand ground (that's just butchery imo). As far as I know the notches are there to make space for the canted valves the Cleveland has. The windsor valves are not canted which is why the windsor blocks don't have those notches. I might be wrong though because we don't have any oldschool v8 stuff where I'm from (europe).

Dolcich really really needs a 2 post lift. Working on the floor for working and camera must suck. Can't Freiburger hook him up with a wyldfire or other lift?.
No way.....the best part of his place is not a shop full of sponsor banners and products......his cherry picker is the best.... Would loose respect if he ...sold out.... He really should do something about those rabbits...though

maan thanks for uploadin these!
Whoa, a stout Cleveland build and Freiburger wearing actual shoes!!!!
Awesome choice of engines! 😁

Cool because it’s been replaced by the dragoneer project that might actually get built
Love the content guys, been watching for over a decade now
Dulcich is my hero bro
The Farmer Hot Rodder!
Can't wait to see this thing at track with the big Ole slicks.
It was sold off 2 years ago

The mighty clevo 😊
Thank you for posting and for the quality

It looks amazing on sicks!!!
I just love how they go from roadkill butchery to Neat and tidy table cloth cilinder head assembly layout., XD
Sadly the Jeep was sold after that episode
How do know that
@@josh6715 *D/F* went through a list of all of his personal cars on his channel a few weeks ago and mentioned it.
He has had 2 of these before that he deemed to nice to cut up.
Sad they never got this thing going , but I guess since it's a Ford project this internet isn't interested.
I was really hoping to see the slicks in the back and the Bogers up front
Please upload any other episodes of this Car that thing is wicked I'd love to see more of it
I think some people are just born with the gift to know.
I just saw the slick and hope you buy 4 and run it in 4wd hi.
Soooo Sweet, great job fellas

I love this thing.
Enjoyed theengine building details.
Abandoned for the Dragoneer
Next time use a wheel cylinder hone for the balancer snout. Works fantastic.
right on roadkill! I have a 1966 i.h. scout 800 4x4 for sale that could make a great project for roadkill to challenge the Clevo!!!
Project was scrapped and sold like 2 years ago

I see this one a while back!
Mad power! 😡💪🏼
Why didnt you guys put a much larger chunk stick in the engine ??
Very cool
So the company took a Jeepster and swapped in IH front clip to compete with Broncos and replace Harvesters.
Can not wait until the next ep on the Clevo!!!!
This is old espiode they abandoned this project and sold stuff and reused the rest
Does anyone else think it's strange that they call themselves by their last names?
what is water pipe? 😂 is it really thin walled like sch 10 pipe? all pipe could potentially be water pipe.
Why would they hand-grind notches into the cylinders on the block???

I miss AMC.
I’ve seen the Australians do a 850 HP, NA 351 Cleveland. It’s here on YT, Freiburger and THE DULCICH
But it cost them like $100,000 at least lol

Did this ever get built??
Nope. I think the engine got used in something else and the jeep was sold. Such a bummer.
No now it’s the wagoneer that’s replacing it
No chump
You didnt finish it and you sold it. How long ago was that Dave?
Hope he sees this bro
They won't see this. And that's a good thing. Otherwise we won't get to see this again. 😅
