Ambient Pedal Steel Guitar

I'm currently working on an electronica/steel album with my son Francis. The way that it works is that I start with one of his tracks and then build up a track by adding both acoustic and electric instruments. Before I do that, I have to familiarize myself with the track by endlessly improvising over it. Then I go for a proper take. Here is one of a number of such pre-recording improvisations. It's in f#min...another reason to have a few trial runs!!
