    I got mine yesterday and im impressed how good the brake is. Throttle is little bit short compared to my old TLC-M, but im sure i get used to it. I will need to tweak and test differrent settings to find how i like it best. Im pretty good on computers, but i find calibration software to be pretty hard to use for the first time. I preordered all 3 pedals and baseplate and it took over 3months get my package which was a bit too long wait to be honest. Uprage from TLCM was huge , just the brake makes so big difference. Its so smooth and easy to release smoothly so you can trailbrake easily. If you are looking for new pedals to replace TLCM i can recommend VX-PROS.

    • @grayzedynamics
      @grayzedynamics  Год назад +3

      The brake is absolutely amazing I agree. The throttle took me some time to get dialed in but once I did, I love also. I am so much more consistent it is scary. I can brake better with far less lockups and coming from the Sprints I didn't expect it to be that much better but they truly have been. I don't need the clutch myself. Maybe in the future, but honestly, the pedals are a steal at the price. I have no idea how they are making money at all. I pre-ordered so it took a while and they made some updates, and I personally hate waiting but it was well worth it. Hope to see you on track :)

      @@grayzedynamics Bit late! Installation and config were pretty straightforward thanks to your video. Have them attached to my P1X pedalplate. Sturdy, no flex. The pedals immediately felt really good. The brake feels excellent even after just 40 laps in a GT3. These Simgrade VX Pro's are amazing. I found plenty of adjustment options with the spring stiffness, preload etc. and in the software as well. They seem really well designed, simple but versatile, sturdy, well built and just very complete with the 3 loadcells.
      I paid the pre-order price for the 3 pedal set. It's absolutely unbeatable for the money and Simgrade deserves recognition for putting this set on the market.
      I'm coming from Thrustmaster T-LCM's. They're a good loadcell starter set but the poorly designed TM Adapters never allowed me to really push them otherwise it would probably break, I feel. It's really incomparable. Words wouldn't do it justice.

    • @grayzedynamics
      @grayzedynamics  11 месяцев назад +1

      Glad I could help. They are an absolute steal. I still can't believe that pre-order price. I am sure like most you saw the Dan Suzuki video and if so, they have to pay thay guy some cash. Lol.
      I have become much more consistent and the feel is amazing. I hope they make replacement pedal plate for these as well. That would my dream. Or at minimum I'd love to get the dimensions to have some created.
      The throttle has been good but I can't find that sweet spot. They do now make a brake adjustment now but I love how they are now.

    • @RacingisLif3
      @RacingisLif3 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@grayzedynamics Dan Suzuki indeed! They've had thousands of orders based on that video and seemed pretty overwhelmed but they didn't rush and delivered a solid pedalset. I'll be keeping an eye on their website for more goodies as well. That new brake kit allows for even more options but I'm pretty happy as it is.
      I'm also testing the adjustments to the throttle. Plenty of throw and thus some room to play with. Have to set them up for heel and toe as I drive a lot of classics. I was surprised to be on the pace in such a short time. Feels like I'm braking more on "pressure" instead of "position" as I did with the T-LCM's. Easier to bleed of the brakes and trail brake. It could make me more consistent as well but we'll see a bit further down the line.
      Perhaps ask Simgrade if they're planning different pedal plates? Should be a few aftermarket options regardless.
      I'll be taking a look at your VRS DFP video as well. That's the next planned upgrade and the VRS is top of the list (until I talk myself into a $imucube DD..)

    • @grayzedynamics

      Yeah Dan made them a stack of dough and new fans of great pedals. I still can't believe how great they are. So freaking awesome.
      Yeah the pedal plates would be cool. Since I race with socks I want something like the HRS sprint pedals plates. Would be awesome.
      As far as the VRS, what are using now? Coming from my R9 and trying a couple others I am totally happy with my decision. However, if the Simucube PRO was cheaper that is my ultimate goal. But who knows what will come out in the next 5 years. Can't honestly see upgrading again anytime soon.

    Nice score! I saw Dan's vid on these as well. I have a bit of the opposite problem, I am using the Asetek Invicta's, but after a long session my braking leg is sore (I'm 50 years old and semi retired, so this is probrably normal). I love the pedals, but it might be better for me to have a slightly softer feel. I guess we can hope that the active pedal technology gets cheaper in the coming years. Also, best socks ever. I noticed you also have the Verstappen foot wiggle when going on throttle!

      You could just add a deadzone at the top to make maximum brake input require less force. It's not even realistic to run a 100kgf+ peak pedal in every car; you need to lower it for roadcars and such. I use 50kgf.

    • @grayzedynamics
      @grayzedynamics  Год назад +1

      It is all so objective, but for me, the 90kg and pedals have made me more consistent. The brake will be the biggest part to making you more consistent. Average wheelbase and wheel, steady cockpit is a must, and a solid brake you can be consistent with is key. I'm not sure what you mean by 'adjust force in the software'. Can you explain further?

    • @grayzedynamics
      @grayzedynamics  Год назад

      For example when using the HE Sprint pedals you can change the brake force or max force in KG. So since they maxed out at 65, you can adjust the force in the software. Similar to what can be done on fanatec pedals in software or on wheel.

    • @H.D.83
      @H.D.83 Год назад +3

      If you feel they max out too soon, adjust the calibration. Set the max value to a higher number. If that's too low, set the pedals themselves a notch or two stiffer and recalibrate. (That's if I understand your problem correctly, still having a hard time to visualize how real life force is adjustable with software)

    • @grayzedynamics
      @grayzedynamics  Год назад +1

      Yes I have made adjustments to the pedals and to be honest I got them in a good place. They feel great, however, being able to change brake force in software allows you to have more travel without the need to get out and adjust pre-load and make adjustments to travel. Check out Wills review because he goes over it. I did a review but was so green didn't cover this part. It is at the 1:09 mark. This feature is also controllable on Fanatec pedals and a few others I have used.

    • @GoezTo11
      @GoezTo11 Год назад +3

      @@grayzedynamics You can change the brake force in the software by changing the maximum. It just doesn't tell you specifically what the raw value means. The manual says don't exceed 90kg of brake force. It also says don't exceed 17000 raw value. I guess you could extrapolate from that 90kg of brake force is a raw value of 17000. It would be nice to have that number but I guess part of the issue is that it would depend on the mechanical advantage of the brake system which would depend on how you set up the brake physically and even where you place your foot. The force on the load cell won't be the same as the force on the pedal plate and won't be comparable to the force on the load cell for the HE pedals since the mechanical advantage will be different.
