This just brings me back to the 80's and my freshman year of high school in So-Cal, telling my parents I was going to the movies, then spending the night at a friend's house. Jumping in a car and heading to the Sunset Strip.
Thank you Mick, Nikki, Tommy, and Vince for sharing more of your lives with us than you already have. I enjoyed the film, learned something new about you all, and relived some of the memories. Mick, thank you for pushing through. You are the pillar of the Crue and an amazing one at that. Nikki I never realized you did not have a loving family growing up. This pained me more than anything. Enjoy your time with your wife and soon to be new child. You deserve all the love you can get. Tommy. Keep being you and being positive, its contagious. Vince I am happy you have found a home in Nashville and are continuing to sing (just watched a vid with you and Sammy Hagar). Thank you for all the years guys!
Motley Crue was one of the first bands I listened too back in '81 and in second grade. Bought the cassette with my own money and the look of the band drove my parents crazy. That day I bought Too Fast for Love, Led Zeppelin 3 and Iron Maiden- Number of the Beast. Played them all so much the tapes wore out or broke because I had to use the pencil to rewind the tape back into the cassette because of the boom box was old. Those were days to be alive.
Loved tearing up the Hollywood sportatorium in Florida with the CREW back then... Tks for the memories guys. Can’t believe I survived the 80’s. 🇺🇸 ❤️ 🇨🇺 🦩 305. 🎭 🔥 🎼
I love how they stick to their real story for the most part and really tried to capture real moments the band lived....the credits one of the best part of the movie who does that shout out the directors the actors the writers and MOTLEY CRUE....I want to start a band now more than ever
Their Best album, I remember laying on my bed wearing a leather jacket listening to this album, funny how memories come back at you listening to old tunes.
It pisses me off when some a-hole says Mick sucks..He's awesome, probably the best riff writer since Tony Iomi and Nikki Sixx add way more to the overall sound he's totally underrated. Also, Sixx is one of the best lyric writers ever. Tommy and Vince are just as great as Mick and Nikki! I love Motley Crue!
Piece Of Your Action and Live Wire are my 2 favorite songs off Too Fast For Love, The Title Track, Red Hot and Danger are my 3 favorite songs off Shout At The Devil.
TFFL is a must own killer Rock classic. I knew where I was the first time heard the opening to "Livewire". Yep it was one of those moments. Turning 15 was a loud time in my young life.
My twin brother Dan played at the Wiskey a Go Go on the Sunset Strip 32 years ago back in 1987 or 1988. He was a part of that scene. He has been gone for 14 years but the portrayal of the Motley Crue band members brought up good memories when my twin brother was alive.
Dan Moura from Ruffians? My condolences. That band wasn't really part of Sunset Strip, was it? They played great melodic heavy metal, in the vein of Fifth Angel, Vicious Rumors and Villain. By 1987, 1988 Hollywood had been taken over by the poseur bands, digging the grave of the scene with generic popcrap. Don't tell me he left Ruffians to join one of those jokes. That Ruffians debut album was the fking best.
I have two original cassettes of Mötley Crüe. "Shout at the devil" and "Too fast for love". The latter has a transparent case, so I always thought that it was newer than the usual black one. It turned out that it was the other way around. "Too fast for love" is the band's debut album, and was released in November 1981. "Shout at the devil" is their second album, and came out September 26th 1983.
Their first major debut album (1982). I bought this when it first came out 40 years ago when I was 18. It was a ground-breaking record for its time, not to mention, it was the literally catalyst that totally opened the doors for the (just newly) emerging L.A. metal scene genre of that time. Unfortunately, however, as cool, slick, raw, punky and gritty as some of these songs may be, this album on the whole did not age well over the years like a typical Zeppelin record did, (or a fine wine).
i just realized how much Mick influenced Dimebag from Pantera...making one guitar sound like 2, wicked solos, metal...remember that Pantera started out as glam metal (the power metal album)
Just bought tickets for motley Crue poison and def Leppard at buffalo bills stadium in August...best part is I got tickets for metalicca and Greta van fleet the next night...Gona be a epic couple days a mid week festival if u will..hope people see this post and join
Here we go again, some fire music from Mötley Crüe. One of the absolute great underrated Crue classics, I appreciate the tasteful foresight of including it on the soundtrack.
And this was pretty much produced as a demo
Bass line in this is pretty killer.
Man, That movie has me playing and listening to the Crue on RUclips bigtime !
Man, Hope all is OK now. Keep rockin' the Crue !
Deadass
Back when albums could be great from beginning to end.

Monica Lynn, your pic looks familiar to me. I know it's a long shot, but did you grow up in Florida?
Mind Blowing Scream Vince! Motley Rules!
The bridge on this track is absolutely iconic.

Thanks Motley Crue for all the great music you Rockkkk 🤘🤘
Their Best album, I remember laying on my bed wearing a leather jacket listening to this album, funny how memories come back at you listening to old tunes.
2:42 is the soundtrack to riding a harley down sunset blvd really fucking fast, outrunning cop cars with a bottle of Jack Daniels in one hand

I feel like a person who has been kidnapped by ROCK STARS.. absolutely love it .. great music and memories

I saw in an interview that Mick didn't show-off like all the other guitarists during his time
Who said Mick sucks? He's pretty much universally loved.
I totally agree with you 💯
@@AaronStark1993 ya that's what I was thinking...I've never heard that in 51 years!
Mick is the most talented of the band
Long live to motley crüe!! Guys thanks for your beautiful music

Excellent long guitar solo.Love it.Too Young has a great solo too.

May he rest in peace!
He's looking down from above, slamming on his guitar and thinking how lucky he was to have a brother like you, David...
Dan Moura from Ruffians? My condolences.

Uno de los primeros temas que escuché de Heavy Metal en mi larga carrera de fan de esta música por allá en 1982.

Good song, like nice guitars 🎸🎸👍👍👍👍👍🤘
Guitar*
Mick Mars = genius
Razor-sharp musical misogyny - so honest and virtuosic as to delight even the most acutely aware of feminist intellectuals! Just delicious…
This CD was in my dads car when I was a kid and I thought the line was, "I want you to be my termite." Funny how you mishear things when you're young.
Great motley !!!!✊✊✊✊✊
3:07 best part
This was raw , don't care what you say
Hammer !!!
🤘🤘🤘🤘 can’t wait to watch the movie on Netflix 😀

In fact the best motley crue song...musically...get your head out of your asses...this song , was basically, a true reminder of pure rock....
i just realized how much Mick influenced Dimebag from Pantera...making one guitar sound like 2, wicked solos, metal...remember that Pantera started out as glam metal (the power metal album)

My favourite people in this band is Vince Neil Tommy Lee Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
🤘🤘🤘
❤️❤️❤️❤️🤟🤟🤟🤟
Kickstart My heart I try to do that at least once or twice a day you know
🤘🏼🤘🏼
The Crue is god.
The solo in 2:00 remember me to the solo in 2:00 of "Pearl Jam - Do the Evolution"...
The riff in the intro and chorus sound a little like the Scorpions Coast to Coast.
It's a great day when one of your hot coworkers comes up and talks to you out of no where and right after that this song comes on your Bluetooth 🤘
3:13 Vince steps on a Lego barefoot 😂
I’ll teach ya how! 🤘happy 40th!

Motley F***ing Crue
