Your Spouse Passport Date Page, residence permit card, Job contract, Six months Bank Statements, Tax card, Tax Certificate, House contract if available. You can get more information on migri.fi. • @Ucheprisca

      You don't necessarily need to Authenticate your WAEC result at the Ministry of Education if you're coming in through studies. But if your spouse live in Finland already and you're applying for a residence permit based on family tie, then you should do that.
      However, you need to Authenticate your marriage certificate and your child/children's birth certificate at the ministry of foreign affairs before you take them to the EMBASSY for Legalization.

Next question can for example another person be my spouse sponsor like his brother gives him the money required and how much is the money he is supposed to have just for him since I am leaving in Finland already? Yes, as soon as you arrive Finland, you can initiate the process of bringing your family. It is highly advisable to have at least a Job contract. This will enable you stand as a sponsor to your family. Furthermore, to be on the safer side it would be good if you or your spouse is the solo sponsor and not a third party. This will better the chance of getting the family reunion visa.

      In the context of the residence permit based on family ties the terms sponsor and financial sponsor are two different things.
      Sponsor means the person living in Finland who is "collecting" family members from other countries. If doesn't mean giving funds.
      Financial sponsor is someone who has given or will give funds to applicants for living expenses in Finland.

      If you read more careful the instructions you'll notice the requirement where it's say that the spouse needs to already have a residence permit OR you can be applying at the same time.
      I don't remember the exact words, but read carefully and you'll notice it.

    Hi dear please does my husband also need proof of fund to join me in Finland? And also am a lähihoitaja can my bank proof of fund be able to cover a husband and two children?

    • @Ucheprisca
      @Ucheprisca  8 месяцев назад

      YES! If you earn 2600 EUR after tax, you can stand as the sponsor for your spouse and two children. If you don't earn up to that amount, but you have savings that could cover the balance, then you are good to go. The aim is to show a POF of 2600 EUR per month for the Family. Wishing you all the best in bringing your family to Finland. ❤️
