  • Hi Guys!
    In this video I talked about moving to Finland as a Student with Family.
    Finland offers students the opportunity to immigrate to the country with their families, as soon as you get admitted to a University or vocational school you can start the process of moving together with your family.
    However, the Finnish immigration service defined specifically who your family members are. You can get more information on their official website Migri.fi
    Moving to Finland with Family members, you need to Authenticate and Legalize your Marriage Certificate and Child or Children’s Birth Certificate. I have a video where I talked about this in details. See link below..

    Please i want clarification on the pof for students coming with spouse. How long will it be in the account? Like Canada is 6months and uk 28days. In Finland it is how many months or days. Please kindly reply to this ma. Thank you so much

    • @Ucheprisca

      There is no specific days or month your POF can be in your account. The most important thing is that you have the total POF needed for your RP when you submit your application. Also, you're required to submit your bank statement of 3 months and your sponsor would submit a 6 months bank statement.

    • @Ucheprisca
      @Ucheprisca  10 месяцев назад +5

      Hi, To be on a safer side, the funds should be in your account. Also, it is highly advisable that your sponsor has some funds in his account for Authentication. Secondly, UAS Exam is a joint digital entrance exam of Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS), used for selecting students to study programmes leading to a degree and conducted in English, it is different from IELTS. Finally, moving alone to Finland and 3 kids would be very challenging for you when you arrive to Finland, This is because you would have to take care of them all by yourself and still study full time. Please make sure you plan very well. Wishing you all the best. :)

      @@Ucheprisca
      What makes you think that adults can apply together meaning that they have one application for both?
      Such group application doesn't seem to exist, except for adults with their underage children.
      The simple rule about applying for residence permit based on family ties seems to be as stated at the Migri website:
      "You need to submit the application yourself. The sponsor cannot apply for a residence permit on your behalf. "
      Instead or applying in the same application (together), it is possible to apply at the same time in which case the Finnish Immigration Service will process these applications together.

      Thanks for the Support. The POF doesn't necessarily need to be in the account for 1 year. However, the total amount need to cover a 1 year period. For Example, a student need to have 560 Euros every month to pay for food, housing, and other personal needs. And you need to show in your application that you have (560 X 12 months = 6,720 Euros) in your bank account.
