Welcome to the family!!! You are so lucky to get such a great car at your age! I had to wait till i was over 60!! I got mine in late may 22….in coral gables florida. I got my feet wet when i bought a fiat 500e in 2017……i wasnt ready & able to buy the car just yet! I bought the car at a higher cost with no rebate…..but i do not have any regrets!! I love the car! When i did order the car, i had to wait 9 mos!!…i am paying about $42/mon to charge it! The only issue i have is that the suspension could be better! I did rent a ‘23 model 3….& found that it def was better on the suspension, so i think they have definitely gotten better! I know you will enjoy the car…..it’s very safe….and much cheaper tp maintain than an ice car…… i got the grey with white seats….i’m very happy with it…….the only issue i have had was a flat….but tesla mobile came through pretty fast! I also saw all the videos before buying…….i had all of my accessories ready! The best one was PPF of the front……and window tint…….i also have the Tesla bling…. Enjoy your new adventure……have fun……and try not to speed too much!

Congratulations on your model y. Watched your video and had the same issue with a tire on my model y. Tesla said just take it to Hibdons or Discount Tire. Took it to Hibdons and there was a nail in it. They fixed the tire and gave me the paperwork, no charge. A $100 to repair tire is nuts especially on a new car. Not sure if there’s a warranty on the tires but I’d do some checking. Anyway, congrats again on your new y. It’s beautiful

I have had my MY Tesla for 2 years now and still love it every single day. Only have had to buy 2 new tires because of nails where they couldn’t be patched. I charge it in my garage too. Plug it in early, get ready for the day and forget about it. I have dogs so have a durable hammock for one and a dog seat for the other. Congratulations!! 🎉
Happy for you. I have 23 Model Y as well. Love the car. I would recommend that you go to your local tire shop next time. I only paid $20.00 to fix my deflated tire. They simply put a rubber plug in the hole and reinflate the tire. It is quick. All the best

That way one can be certain that the person jacking up your car avoids making contact with the battery underneath. Tesla has an opening underneath allowing the pads to fit for just that purpose. Enjoy . No more gas for me, hardly have to use the brakes anymore, one pedal driving.

But a little advice on the charging recommendation… find out what battery chemistry you have because Tesla recommends 80% on NMC or NMCA AND 100% ON LFP BATTERIES. And when you go along road trips, that’s when they recommend you do 100% but I wouldn’t do 100% daily on those two types of batteries🔋
I am SUPER HAPPY for you! Congratulations🎉! I get the manifesting and researching for years. I’ve been doing the same thing. I’ve put it in prayer that I get my own brand new Tesla. I’ve never had a brand new car before, and I deserve it, and will keep manifesting into my prayers that I get mine very soon. Thankfully there’s the tax credit again for this car. The Y wasn’t my first choice (and it won’t be my last choice), but the tax credit is too great to pass up. I’m loving the girly accessories. So, I’ll be looking those up as well, plus it might deter my husband from trying to drive my car. I don’t want nobody driving my car but me…not my husband. Plus, I’m neater, cleaner, and a much better driver when it comes to cars.

Thank you! If you choose to finance through Tesla, they walk you step by step through the entire process once you’ve paid the initial deposit for your car. You’d have to put in all your info in their financing form and they’ll tell you if you’re approved or not right away (this is through Teslas website). After your car is ready to be picked up, you’ll finalize the financing through the Tesla app. Again, it walks you through step by step on what to do. This is when you’ll finalize your down payment, sign a bunch of paperwork electronically, and you’ll also confirm your insurance. I also had a bunch of questions when I was going through the process too, and I just went to a local Tesla dealership to ask all my questions. I hope this helps, and congrats in advance!

So I looked at the online on Amazon of the ambient lights you used but it says it doesn’t fit a model Y 2024 but I don’t see how it wouldn’t fit when the 2023-2024 not much different do you think it will fit anyways?
I just doubled checked and they don’t mention anything about the 2024 model y. But the 2024 and 2023 do look almost identical to me too. also in the description they say it’s for 2021/2022, but the main title includes 2023. So it could be that they just haven’t updated the information for the product, so it may work

It works great when I use it. I don’t drive at night a lot, so I don’t use it everyday. But when I do use it, it’s great. You can change the colors with the app, and you can control the brightness as well. Installing the lights took the longest time because of cable management. I ended up not following all the instructions it came with so I could hide the cables better. So some cables are in the side panels, under the seats, and in various nooks and crannies so it can look more professional. Then they all route to the center console, where it gets plugged into. yes, insurance was a lot higher than i was expecting. but i've had tesla insurance for the last 6 months and its been great so far

I use it everyday. The car has google maps, but I prefer Apple Maps. So anytime I need to get directions or anything I use my phone on the phone mount

I had a nail in my tires twice and I only spent $26 each time it happened at a tires place. You shouldn't have had to pay $100.
