My kjw hicapa is just a 2011. Main difference between the 2 is a 2011 has a double stacked mags. Nboby like time mag *pew pew and slieock bask. See it's already empty. In all seriousness I only changed the inner barrel assembly and added an extended slide chach which also works on the m1911.
The whole point of airsoft is doing what YOU want to do. Airsoft has provided enough for however YOU want to approach it. No other shooting sport does it better! Thats why the 1911 is as relevant as every other model or fictional variant of said replica. The point is to include as much as possible. Its enticing to have options. Im not a millsim or speedy but i love that i have the option to explore and it feels welcoming. i might down the line because i love it all. I love having airsoft as a space for all of that. Its super important. Debating relevancy can be dangerous. If its not for you, its not for you
1911 will never not be relevant. Its globally well respected. It paved the way for ALL hi capas. Its just what it is.

1911s feel good, might shoot good but they are outdated. Sights are way to flat. Who needs these 2 safeties? Low BB and gas capacity. There are a lot better modern pistols with higher capacity, easier handling, better sights etc.
I mean they do make double stack 1911s and make rails and everything and in my opinion i dont have a hard time with the sights
i mean if you like to rock it, you do you, personally i don't like em since the gas resevoir is not really big
I'd say most of your problems with the sights are cause you're firing it like a modern pistol it's not one eye closed they're like closer rifle sights you can get really quick with them but they don't handle like more modern sights
The same argument is being held within the "Real Steel" community. As far as I am aware, its still pretty much each to their own.
