Sorry for lack of uploading guys, making videos take a while and with school starting soon it'll take even longer. However, I'm going to try my best to work on videos whenever I can.
I also want to thank you all for supporting my channel. Almost 400 subscribers, and seriously so grateful for you all.

You guys should check out Melee: SD Remix. It's a hack of Melee where the roster is actually balanced. It's pretty sweet.

That Pichu was preeeeeeeeeeetty bad. It's not that hard to recover, honestly. But the challenge is very interesting, might try it. (Also why is everyone hating on Pichu? M2K thinks he's 19 on the tier list, and you can get so much done with nair and bair... well not anymore I guess :P)

My little brother once won a local Melee tournament in our old high school. As Pichu.
The more I think about it, the more it baffles me. Yet, I've never been more proud.

Sen I played a Melee tournament with my friends. I won as Kirby. It wasn't any official tournament. It wasn't even recorded. But i still can beat my friends as Kirby.
Hansenfmly Fired up my old Gamecube for the first time in years, and Kirby and Pichu have by far the best stats of all the characters I played lol. Nowadays I main Pikachu but use Pichu in semi-competitive tournaments like local scenes or school competitions, just because it's fun. :b

Pichu isn't even a character without Up-Throw, Up/Down Smash, Nair or Bair.
Every time pichu flew out of the map I laughed so hard.

Good god, Pichu's F-Smash knockback is ridiculous. How have I not noticed?
+L1N3R1D3R Pichu has great killing moves that can KO at 60% sometimes
Because Pichu's only good moves are nair, bair, f-smash, up-smash, up-throw, and down-throw. Every other move Pichu has either hurts him, doesn't do enough to justify using it, or is extremely situational (back-throw towards the ledge, up-air to juggle a bit even though it only does like 2-3%, etc.)
Really, no one plays as Pichu because a majority of his moveset is useless, so no one really realizes that he DOES have a few moves that are legitimately really good. Heck, I'm not really 100% sure about it, but I think that Pichu's up-smash is the third-strongest in the game behind Fox's up-smash and Sheik's sweet-spotted up-smash. His f-smash has knockback comparable to that of Captain Falcon's if you manage to get the last hit of it, so that's awesome too. Also, Pichu's up-throw and down-throw can be used as chaingrabs. Combine that with his nair and bair, and Pichu does have a semi-decent set of tools.
Honestly, Pichu isn't THAT bad. I'd definitely put him higher on the tier list, maybe even in front of DK. The problem is, no one uses Pichu except a few top-level players when they're playing against players of a lower skill-level, so Pichu has no tournament results whatsoever.
P.S: Relating to that last statement, if someone can show me legit proof that a Pichu player has won a tournament, even if it's a small local one, you will eternally have my admiration.
It's crippled once your opponent knows how to Smash DI, however.

Here's another Pichu Challenge: Do a "Pasifist Route" with Pichu. That means NO Hitting your Opponents to kill them. Just make the Stage do it or get REALLY Lucky and makes them fall off on their own. :3

Can somebody explain netplay to me?! Can I play against people other than my 7 year old brother?!
You cannot use Netplay in Melee for your Gamecube. People can play Melee using an emulator on a computer, with a controller hooked up. Netplay is possible with the emulator.

Four Faces netplay is online but only for the dolphin emulator, not the original game. still fkn cool that it exists
