- Episode 78 - Childhood games - there are so many games we’re familiar with world wide, with no language barriers, that we played as children. Here are a few we can cover in Arabic Levantine Dialect. In this episode, the first part of a 3-part series, we will be covering how to say:
Backgammon
Chess
Cards
Game
Jump Rope
Hide & Seek
Chutes & Ladders
Dice
We will also learn how to put them in sentences. Stay tuned for Part 2 and Part 3!

Thank you for a fun lesson! When I was a child we called chutes and ladders, snakes and ladders, so it was fun to see the name in Arabic!
Awesome!! It’s funny in Arabic it literally translates to snakes and ladders too :)
Makes me happy! I don't know why they ever changed it to chutes anyways. Lol
@@elizabethkarkache3209 haha no kidding! I agree :)

My arabic student taught me a game today that she plays with her siblings to choose someone like as a partner or for a team. It sounded like “fra zuad”. You held your hand to your ear and each said “fra” or “zuad” and then put out your fingers. Do you know this one?
