    Thanks for another beautifully-shot video, and once again for the subtitles, which must add quite a lot of work. Much appreciated.

    Heel mooi scheepje en motor, heel rustgevend geluid.
    Wel verwonderlijk dat deze motor zichzelf nooit losgetrokken heeft van het dek, het schudden lijkt me erg intens en daar moet je wel tegen kunnen als schipper.

    Alle lof dat je het toch weer oppakt, En je ziet het , 100 jaar geen problemen, Er komt overbodige regelgeving, en het gaat fout.. Hulde voor het doorzetten!

    • @barendgarvelink
      @barendgarvelink Год назад

      Mwah. Het is regelgeving voor de scheepsmotoren van vandaag, niet die van 1929. De hoofdlijnen van de wetgeving moet je niet laten bepalen door eeuw-oude, inmiddels commercieel irrelevante technologie. Let wel: dan kan die regel alsnog overbodig zijn, maar baseer oordeel dat dan op de schepen van de laatste twintig jaar. Hooguit zou er meer ruimte voor een uitzondering voor museumschepen moeten zijn.

    What a fantastic engine. I wonder what cubic capacity that is.

    • @ramseybarber8312
      @ramseybarber8312 3 года назад

      John E first of all capacity is not a measurment you mean centimeters which is a measurment, so what you want to know is the cubic centimeters which is 100cc= roughly 1hp so multiply by 35 equals 3'500 cubic centimeters , OK.

    Zorgt die water injectie nu voor extra rookvorming?

    Does he add water to the combustion? if yes how that can give more power, can anyone inform me about this please

    • @MrXanderjanssen
      @MrXanderjanssen 2 года назад +2

      Water evaporates due to high temperature into steam and hence expands, causing the pressure above the piston to increase. Basically the engine becomes partially a steam engine.

    • @tezy0193
      @tezy0193 6 месяцев назад

      @@MrXanderjanssen haha no thats wrong😄 its there to reduce the temperature of the intake air .. as the engine gets hotter and hotter combustion advances, so water gets sprayed (more like dripped in those old engines) into the intake to counteract this, it also prevents pre ignition (when the fuel mixture prematurely ingites as the piston moves up) which would destroy the engine.
      If combustion advances you lose power.

    • @MrXanderjanssen
      @MrXanderjanssen 6 месяцев назад

      @@tezy0193 indeed, I mixed up with the principle of a 6 stroke water injected engine.
