Year late, but it’s probably bc he found his true voice, yes the mans voice from his older songs like kate mccannon and imaginary Appalachia is incredible, but his voice now is something special, so that’s probably why he looks happy n positive as the new colter wall, yk?

That is an incredibly cowboy song, you can tell the person who wrote it was legit by his references of the horse stand, the tight bag, and the constamy need for the cow pup to getting yelled at.
Mike Beck is a master, and his house concerts are the absolute bomb. Don't know if he does them any more, but he does the smoke of Old California like no one else.

Let me tell ya something as someone who plays guitar. True professional playing is when you can pick and strum melodies specifically and not have to look at the guitar at all
Sometimes when you look at your guitar while playing you get distracted by what you are doing and mess up somehow. It happens to me a lot and Im not in any way a professional.

I love this song. I like the way Colter sings, the songs and his style of guitar. I can understand every word he says.
