    Interesting the bracket is $94,050 vs the 12% bracket which goes to $94,300. In effect there is a small window ($250) where you would pay a higher rate for a long term capital gain than you would a short term capital gain or ordinary income (15% vs 12%).

      Great observation! This is why I try not to say "long term capital gains taxes are ALWAYS lower than income taxes".
