Hey mate, from your experience would a vy S1 clubsport with the same package end up pretty much the same or would you expect slightly more out of it? Not sure what the differences are.

They constantly try to push me into a cam like 226 236 @50 580” on a 114 and tell me that the lsa will help its idle then I say I want the cam to be more around 218 224 580” 108 equaling the exact same total overlap period! And they say it’ll idle like a dog and won’t be able to run breaks. What would you advise be? I’m looking for a tough idle and don’t intend to turn the motor past 6000. So I figure less duration with a tighter lsa and the same overlap should be a winner?
You honestly cannot go past the crow cams 1249 camshaft in this video it is hands down the best out of all the cams we have used and tested. We always get customers bringing in other brand and exotic camshafts And nothing ever comes close to the 1249. I have been pushing this cam for a very long time and I will continue until I see something better.

I have a VCM 480 in my VY Monaro, freshly rebuilt engine, CNC Blackwell heads, VCM OTR, new tru trac diff center with 3.46 gearing and full stainless 3 inch dual Manta system, have you seen the APS 002 Grind Crow Cam? , I'm going bigger Cam to maximize the CNC Blackwell heads and not exactly sure which way to go. The APS 002 Grind Crow Cam recently got put in the Adrian Portelli Yellow GTS VX and it sounds great but I like this Cam in the video too. Thankyou very much for any feedback mate.

They are saying best cam so far from what iv seen.

Hi mate, why don't you ever use the Crow cam 871777? I have it in my VE Ls3. Crow say it's better then the 871249
I will add this to the cams for future testing
With 56 deg of overlap, how was the breaks? Still reasonable?

Will it drop around 15 to 20 when the convertor is installed?
With a good converter it shouldn't change
