I love the fact that you made your own tree structure and not using the standard Blender tree that they provide everyone. Great tutorial, understandable, entertaining voice and looking forward to trying it soon!
really nice beginner+ tutorial, could you consider getting one of those tools that records and shows what key combinations your pressing on screen as you move pretty quick and often don't say what shorcuts your pressing
When it comes time to model the little branches, I like to use the sapling addon to make a quick tree, then select the branches I like and separate them out. It's a simple matter of converting the curve to mesh (without bevel!) and applying a skin modifier. I like to go back and clean up the topology, too.
When I try to scale the vertices like the way you do, there is no difference in the skin operator for the branch size. Can you kindly explain how you are able to achieve the various size of branches by just scaling the vertices?
You would have to do pretty much the same things like in this video but your object that you apply to particle system will be flowers that you have to model
My leaves have the pivot point at the center instead of at the bottom of the stem. I imported the leaf from Max. Do I need to change the pivot point manually or is there something called 'use local pivot' ?
nice tutorial but sadly in Blender 2.8, when i try to scale the leafs (they are much too small) the meshes will push outside, much much too far from my desired trunk/branch.
Maybe your origin point for the branch is not at the bottom of the branch? It could be too far away. I believe mesh particles start from the origin point.
your a freakin genius/ Great work. Please keep up the mad skillz. When you get criticized by fuck knuckles that only means they jealous. Keep making them jealous
You can delete branches and leaf: for get the shadows maybe it's faster use some foliage pictures and play with the alpha. Animation won't look that realistic maybe.
Boy, a Blender tutorial narated by Elmer Fud himself, how cool is that? Kust kidding, great and informatrive tutorial, with very nice realistic results
Wow my comment is full of typos. I had no Idea what Kust meant until you said that. Just googled it and according o this www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Kust it's apparently not as bad as everyone thinks, but thanks for the headsup XD
"Let me show you how to create naturally distributed leafes with particles and gradients on a mesh." me: *manages to delete the start cube after ours of pain and sweat* "Am I a joke to you?"

of my 4 years with blender, this video showed me new thing and more info then I've ever seen in a tutorial! Great Job!
The same here the whole workshop is great.
How could you possibly find out all of these tricks? You're genius
This is the most detailed and helpful video i've found. THANK YOU!
the thing i mostly appreciate in blender tutorials: using references, this was very nicely done

Excellent video bro...needed it badly
Amazing work!! Idk how i didn't find your video before. Thanks for making this great tutorial. :)

I was really looking forward to the full render but it never came.
Thank you SO MUCH for this video. Absolutely brilliant.
This was super Helpful! Thanks so much!!
Thank you for this great tutorial. Very useful.
He just summons a tree like that. And Boom it's all done.
very nice job!
awesome dude
I finished the tutorial, but how would you add two different materials to the leaves and trunk if they're one object? Otherwise, create video.
Awesome work! Thanks!
Total timesaver! I hated having to polymodel, subdivide and sculpt all over again. Thank you!
Great tutorial!
twee twunk bwanches 😁 poor fellow
As a non native English English I also find it really difficult to pronounce the English R sound
very nice, however could not find the "separate "video tutorial
that is supposed to teach us how to add the wind animation to the trees
but sir
how i do add colour wood to th trees? i like detail "texture" it tree can help?.
Thank you sooooooo much!!!! This has changed the game for my 3D Art !!!
I cant believe that I havent found out there is this add-on until now.
Danke, sehr praktisch.
Good tutorial, but when I weight paint the tree it doesn't create a vertex group. Has this procedure changed in Blender 2.8?
really really helpful, Thank you! :)
YOU
ARE
GENIUS!!
THANKS A LOT!

Srinivasan Ramachandran hello, if you hit ctrl a you can scale the branches 😎
TheAzorAhai- thank you friend, I figured it out. apologies for not having posted it as a reply
is that low poly tree optimal for Unity? Or should the leafs be just few planes with alpha textures?
Why are you askimg me?
I don't think so, but I am not sure.
What if I want to add some flowers to the tree ? can you please make a video on this ?
You would have to do pretty much the same things like in this video but your object that you apply to particle system will be flowers that you have to model
6:51 can someone tell me what he is saying?
Fantastic tutorial. Many Thanks! :-)
Hey thanks for the Tutorial my friend. Was usefull to look at.
very nice tutorial! thnx a lot!
awesome. but im really interested in optimization
Sapling add tree parameters menu not showing up when I add in the tree, I don't click outside at all it just doenst appear at all
My leaves have the pivot point at the center instead of at the bottom of the stem. I imported the leaf from Max. Do I need to change the pivot point manually or is there something called 'use local pivot' ?
It's fixed, I just reset the pivot point of the leaf to the origin, and it updates in my particle system
awesome tutorial you make me subscribed.
Fantastic!
ok, that was amazing. thank you so much.
Thanks! Awesome tutorial. :D
u really help me about leaf
im really tired how to make leaf in tree
thank you so much
nice tutorial but sadly in Blender 2.8, when i try to scale the leafs (they are much too small) the meshes will push outside, much much too far from my desired trunk/branch.
download blender 2.79, never has failed me yet. and blender creator said they are no longer supporting backwards compatibility.
Maybe your origin point for the branch is not at the bottom of the branch? It could be too far away. I believe mesh particles start from the origin point.
Is this possible in c4d?
Only 9 Dislikes.. must mean something!
Great work!
Elmer Fudd from from loney toones took over your tutorial at 8:26 :)
Some really clever techniques here. I'll just buy some trees.
Ingenious!!!
weafs on the gwound, for this high detail twee

There are no Size-Option in Physics? D: There is just the "Multiply mass with size" Box. But no slider :( #PlsHelp

your a freakin genius/ Great work. Please keep up the mad skillz. When you get criticized by fuck knuckles that only means they jealous. Keep making them jealous
Awesome.
its not letting me scale [Nvm figured it out its ALT + M]
Why , for me i can't scale with skin modifier ?
your using ctrl-a?
@@mistertitanic33 This is a random confused person on the internet thanking you 2 years in the future for clarifying my retarded question
realy this is good video
Мега круто ! Спасибо :)
how to remove ALT LMB and Ctrl LMB????
You can delete branches and leaf: for get the shadows maybe it's faster use some foliage pictures and play with the alpha. Animation won't look that realistic maybe.
texture=?
pretty good but use image planes for leefs its better and more optimal.
Why your voice sound like Zacharias you sound familiar..
Brilliant!
