its easy, so long as you keep note of the speed of everyone around you and focus on where you are going it becomes second nature. Just gotta take it steady
Yes I agreed. London bike lanes suck. They designed the same as most Canada's cities (I am Canadian). You are very lucky to live in Amsterdam. Bike heaven city for cyclists
By the looks of many other YT videos, there is a lot of infrastructure for cyclists, well I guess apart from The Oxford Street etc. :) , but gong back to the 90s, there was no infrastructure at all. So it has changed a lot in the past 20 yrs.
Yes. My Long Island project team includes the Philly architect who won't be allowed to forget having said no-one rides bikes in Nassau County. Hundreds of people ride to events at UBS arena, but yes I'm sure Jay soon got used to zipping around London and NYC is a very different proposition.
Oxford Street Why do they put a cycle lane in the middle of the road knowing the cyclist needs to return to the right hand side? Also why do tourists walk in the cycle lane over a London bridge why? lol
London bike lanes suck. They designed the same as most Canada's cities (I am Canadian). Just draw a white line and call it a "bike lane" doesn't do a damn thing to protect cyclists from the damn cars
More videos of me cycling in LONDON ruclips.net/p/PL4uVUjztlYp_RUaYrpm0SoETNQSVSguLh
I'll say this for you mate: how you cycle so easily through those little gaps is phenomenal! Total credit to your prowess on a bike.

London still needs to do a LOT for a safe cycling infrastructure. This is insane. But i am Dutch so maybe i am spoiled

Unfortunately you were going the opposite direction to regents street! Great video though, good insight into cycling around London.
Muppet in the red jacket running reds so we can all be tarred with his brush for no gains
Well done for giving it a go mate.
If you can navigate a pavement walking, you can cycle in the roads.
It's about *presence*
Wow, the road is not wide so many cars & peoples but London is beautiful city for riding bike, i feel like virtual bike ride 😁👍 salam gowes dari 🇮🇩
Do you ever get the train with your bike?
You're very fit. Going quite fast yet no heavy breathing or panting. Very good video.
He may well be very fit, but I'm sure the electric bike helped.
@@nbartlett6538The most English up you a** reply ever
Thanks for doing this. Now I won't have to.
Wouldn't mind a closer look at that leccy bike.
Hey Nicholas! I'm planning to do just that in future videos!
I think it would be more scary to ride, lets say in NYC :)
Oh I do miss London and it's streets, and cycling there as well :)

The cyclist in front of you gets through the junctions well.
Too many stops. Hope you can edit the out to make the ride worth it
i swear he went on every road except cycleways... if he stuck to the cycleways it might've been easier. The are pretty nice.
My favourite city ♥️
I’d rather that then ride on back roads tbh 😂
Hello there!
Oxford Street Why do they put a cycle lane in the middle of the road knowing the cyclist needs to return to the right hand side? Also why do tourists walk in the cycle lane over a London bridge why? lol

Non cyclists are supposed to stay clear of those bikes lanes but often they don't.
Driving an e-bike
Pedestrians should get a fine for j-walking in bike lanes that would put an end to that 😅😂❤
