You’re right on those Yanmar built Deere compacts. They had everything right on them, good drive train, fuel efficient, maneuverable, reliable, easy to work on, I mean everything.

@@khtractors hydrostatic is some much quicker on loader work, lol
@@rcguy18 yeah it is but you get so much more power out of a gear drive especially with pto work on steep hills. The hydrostatic pump really sucks the hp down. Both have positives and negatives.
Good video Ben! I’m looking to pick up a sickle mower for my old ford 3000. I would like one that I could use in the verticals position for trimming trails. Is that even possible?
You could with a belt drive that has a hydraulic lift, mine has a pitman rod and they can’t mow at steep angles. Thanks for watching.
