Would I be correct in saying that the gas system when the handle is out, it would better handle lighter rounds, or is it the reverse that the gas system handle is out, it handles the heavier rounds better?
i would say you should probably break it down like this and clean, right after you take it out of the box when you get it. just ordered one today from PSA for 329.00. i plan on breaking down and cleaning when i get it home.
@@johnnym7904 Did you break down the barrel as well like he did here? I notice the instructions tell you not to do it, yet in those same instructions it shows you how. That part is confusing :) Going to do a full clean as well since picking mine up yesterday. Got the 349.00 PSA, but I liked the black too.
I took my cheek riser completely off. Also, my gas key broke 6 shells in. Only fired 6. I fired 5 and my sister's guy fired 1. Those five 00-buck destroyed my shoulder.
That is surprising. I just got my EGX500 last week and put about 100 rds through it. Not a single failure. I did about 10 slugs, a whole bunch of 00 and #1 buckshot and a couple boxes of 7.5 birdshot. All functioned flawlessly on the HV gas setting. I found it to be soft shooting and it didn't bother my shoulder at all.
Just got mine. Where can we order spare parts? Seems like it's a good idea to get them already as I've heard some things break and can get lost and the customer service is bad...which I hope is all untrue but still...
I just received my EX500 and the sights are pretty funny. You can't see the front sight through the rear no matter where your placement is unless your eye is on the stock and my head is tipped all the way on the side. I would need a riser just to get a full picture of the front and rear sight. Stupid set up unless I am doing something wrong...which is possible. 🤔
The manual that came with mine explains that the barrel nut is secured with thread locker and should not be removed. So following the dissassembly instructions will void your warranty. Great!! I cant get any answers from the manufacture!! Arghh!!
Just got my EGX 500 and love it. But it looks like this video could have been done a little bit better especially if the guy works for the company it looks like he doesn't know anything about the gun at all.
I'm stunned that 1) you forgot to unload the weapon as the first step, and 2) after removing the magazine, you didn't show yourself checking for a chambered round. Very sloppy and unprofessional.
Definitely would love a slowed down version with more details on how things line up.
Can you make a video of cleaning n greasing.
My BP 12 only came with 1 off the weights that need changing for high power and low power shells, and I purchased it new from the gunshop

Out is for the HV setting per the instructions. Also when I pulled mine out it says HV on it.
Just ordered mine, looking for to it!
where could i find a gas button replacement?
is this needed to do for a cleaning every time after range day?
Shit I hope not.

@@Doingdumbwhat is "classics"? Do you mean classic firearms?
Why does the Owner's Manual warn to NOT remove the barrel nut?

Shopping for a budget friendly Bullpup shotgun. Haven't seen this one in person. Is the receiver and barrel shroud all metal or composite?
Is the EGX 500 gas system similar to a non bullpup Panzer shotgun such as the EG 200?

The editing of the video is not good as far as camera work.
