Thank you, I purchased a 5 position tube. Also works for the field/fixed stock models. The quality on these is honestly great and it does come preassembled with buffer, spring, etc.
The Panzer M4 works flawlessly and I'm satisfied with it. I was excited about upgrading the stock. Took it to the range and the stock would collapse with ease. After 100 rounds through the firearm I could not get the stock to collapse. After disassembling the firearm I had to force the stock to move and it had grinding. After finally getting it off I could see scrapes on my buffer tube. I cleaned the inside of the stock tube and even tried lubricating it. Still harder to move than it was and it is wobbling when it finally gets into position. I like the company and own the EG 200 and M4 with satisfaction. I wouldn't get this product until they work out the problems because I'm stuck with a faulty add on now.
While you have it apart, it would be worthwhile to remove the screws from the rear site assy and the optics mount and clean and re-threadlock them with a QUALITY thread locking compound and reinstall them. I had all the factory screws come loose on these components while I was doing successive rounds during a break-in procedure. The receiver got hot and the factory threadlocking compound gave way. I will say the gun handles most any loads I've put through it. For the money, this is pretty good gun, however I have had some issues with the Panzer adjustable stock coming out of position during firing. I believe Panzer would warranty it, and I'll have to check into it. I have put approximately 500 rounds through it so far.
It's a absolutely pain in the ass, in order to adjust you must turn the tube to the right and get it on the flat part, then back left to lock. So, once it's in a position that's locked and won't go up and down, tighten it until the end of the tube is flush with the inside. The tighten locknut and insure it's straight by wiggling it back and forth to find the exact middle point.
@@danielritchey3146 yes I did…it’s aggravating but I finally got it off. If I remember correctly, extend the adjustable stock about half way down then find the notch that allows you to turn the stock counterclockwise (gun positioned the same way you would shoot the gun).

About a third of the way to half the way down the tube there are 2 lines. The first line is the marker for the middle of the 3 stock length adjustments. The second line is for stock removal. Line the edge of the stock on that line. Rotate is counter clockwise and pull out. It was sticking for me till the finish wore off enough to allow it to come off easier.

@Brandon Davis the new grip should of come with another nut. That goes into the back of the new pistol grip. Then just spin it on. I had to take it off a few time cause the nut has to go on a certain way but there's not indicator which is correct
@Brandon Davis there's no reason I noticed to take off the buffer tube. Mine came with the slotted tube already. Everything in this video was spot on. For some reason they didn't show putting the nut into the back of the new pistol grip.

Hello I have this stock on mine. Is there a remedy for the push button adjustment pin that keeps walking out? I’m constantly having to check it every 10-15 shells and having to hammer it back in with a punch.
FYI to anyone with a Charles Daly 601 DPS you have to take the ol dremel tool to the pistol grip to be able to get the fire control group in and lined up with the pin. Other than that great stock for the price.
Seems mine won’t come apart as easily as his from new never fired condition. After about 20 mins I gave up trying to take out the charging handle and just took out the trigger by popping the pin out. Also that nut seems to be put in by Thor. Even with a heat gun I needed a vise to hold the gun and put a wrench on it.
