    Just a sincere thank you Coach. Been following for a while and trying to work on concepts and practices you’ve shared along the way. Amazing you would share this with us for free and with so much passion. Keep shooting!

    man I think you're explaining the nuances so well, it's the concepts not the rules we have to stick to , and why do those things. e.g. your gap/no gap on the ball in hand...

    Pay it forward- mike thanks for learning and sharing. And still being able to build both financially and internally as you really extend the power in this gift called shooting. To all the teachers that shared content with you with no expectations , while you do the same, gravely appreciated. The break down of shooting is meaningful, the different ways, the consistency in terms of energy distribution, understanding the mechanics in terms of being able to control the ball, hit hard. Once again thanks

    Thank you very much for everything you do and the wisdom you share with us day in and day out, you have truly helped me and I’m sure many others on this journey that can be so misleading, confusing and difficult and made it very simple for us to understand the fundamentals of what it means to be a sound shooter. No gimmicks, trends, references, or clickbait, just pure knowledge. Thank you and god bless you. May your energy be protected and your future be bright.

    Thank you so much coach for clarifying about the split finger shooting thing!!! Recently I have been going crazy about which finger is touching my ball last, is it index, middle or both at the same time, this overthinking was affecting my shot always…I realised as long as the last two fingers are index and middle, and I have a good feel, it’s alright! Thank you for clarifying this doubt of mine!

    Great video. This really helped me understand proper sequence and timing. How does the sequence, timing, and maybe even form change for different shots like a mid range jumper or free throw? Thanks.

    Mikey!! I start coaching this week. It's a 11and 12-year-old co ed squad. Can I use some of your tips on shooting for them? And have them look up your vids.

    Coach, my wrist feels really tensed and tight when I am about to release the ball...because of this, sometimes I tend to airball...any solutions for that...also thank you for replying to my previous comnent...

    • @SeeMikeDunn
      @SeeMikeDunn  10 месяцев назад +1

      To address the tension and tightness in your wrist when shooting, it's crucial to focus on relaxation and fluidity in your shooting motion. Ensure your wrist and hand are relaxed during the shooting process, and practice drills that emphasize a smooth, continuous motion without any abrupt stops or jerks. Concentrate on the fluidity from your legs through your arms to the release of the ball. Additionally, ensure your grip on the ball is firm yet not overly tight, allowing for a natural release. Consistent practice with these elements can help alleviate tension, improve your shot, and reduce the occurrence of airballs.

      Hey coach, I have now started dping one hand form shooting with off hand behind my back. I feel better touch and feel after doing this .I do this drill before my shooting workout as my trainer suggested. Do you suggest it as well?
