    I think steph does something similar in terms of shifting his weight to his toes on his free throws, but he does this as the ball is going up not before

      @@SeeMikeDunn so is it more about the timing rather than the motion itself, steph's shift of weight also isn't as extreme as giannis' and seems more controlled

    I think you are describing what's happening to my son's shot. Leans shoulder back to get under ball and he has weird high beat arm release and the ball either short most of the time for him too long and hits back of rim. What do you think?
