The 2023 Supra with manual is an awesome car. If you don’t think so you are either lying or you are an enthusiast with very deep pockets and in the market for Porsche or Ferrari tier cars
Great video! I really like the mods you've chosen, very nicely done. I'm in the process of trying to get a 2023 or 2024 Supra of my own. As an owner, I'm hoping maybe you can answer a couple questions and clarify a few things for me. I've seen other videos where they mention if you have the manual trans, the car doesn't come equipped with adaptive cruise, but you mention at 14:01 that it does. The steering wheel controls on the manuals don't appear to have the "follow distance" adjustment buttons that the automatics do. So just looking for some clarification on whether you were just making a general statement about the Supra having adaptive cruise available, or if your manual car actually has adaptive cruise. I'm also curious about the "pumped in" exhaust sound that apparently these cars have, where the speakers pump the exhaust sound into the car. Does the tune, and/or the after market exhaust eliminate that, or is the sound still pumped in? Finally, I'm guessing by unlocking the ECU, that pretty much voids any warranty the car has. I guess if someone is buying the car to mod it, the warranty isn't of much concern, but just curious. Sorry for the enormously long comment/question. I think this is one of the best "review/ownership" vids I've seen, so really well done. Thanks for putting it together and sharing with the rest of us.

I LOVE BMW M Cars, but recent BMW styling choices, bloat and prices have really turned me off. I now have a Supra on order because it reminds me of all the good stuff that BMW performance cars used to offer. While many old school Toyota fans might not like it, old school BMW fans should seriously consider it.
As a owner of a 2022 model since Nov 2021, the "BMW" hateness has drastically reduced. Most people realize now how good of a car it is, and how powerful the B58 is, they respect it a lot more. Of course there are a few of those living in the past and cry about it being a BMW still. Typically they're also the people that can't even afford one.
I'm in the NON- hater club! When it first came out it seemed like I was one of the only people who thought it was a sick looking car. I wonder how the stock clutch will hold up to increased power. I haven't heard anything but it is still fairly new and the amount of them is few.
Sei, I’m surprised you haven’t changed the steering wheel yet. I’m eager to do mine as it represents my most interactive tactile interface. But for you, it would only represent your left hand interface while your right hand rows gears.
I was also going for a GR86 and then completely changed my mind after they announced the MT for the Supra. Got my MT back in December. Personally the lows are terrible on the speakers, but that's really the only complaint. How's your boost logic catback holding up? I heard lots of mixed reviews on it. Valves rattling, welds cracking, etc... I really want one but have been holding off.
You said in the video that yours has adaptive cruise control but Toyota’s website said the manuals done come with it. I’m curious because I have a new one on the way and would really like that feature.

What im hearing about the features included with the manual: Its not actually a manual. Its a "reach down and pretend ur changing gear" but we will take care of the rest. How can it be called a real manual if there is automatic rev matching? Makes zero sense
If Toyota make MK5 Supra by their own it'll be FAILURE, look at LFA, they made everything from scratch witht the result of overpriced price tag compared to competitor

Not that your not putting money into the new one but u out both togther and line them up and have maximum capabilities than id still choose the older generation its way more sexier if thats a word 😂😂😂 cool car but in my opinion a waste of money 😅 depending on who your talking to. as a 2023 GR86 owner, I’m gonna have to slightly disagree that the Supra is more fun to drive (granted I test drove a used 2.0 with automatic, my 86 is a manual) but it’s def a beautiful car. if later down the line Toyota makes a next gen Supra with a Boxer engine OR the GR Corolla engine, I’d be more inclined to buy one. it just feels weird driving a Japanese coupe with a German engine in it
Hahah.. The 2.0 Supra is an 86 with a better body.. and faster. And the 2.0 has nothing on the 3.0. Why would they regress to a Boxer engine that is far far inferior to the B58? 86 owners are in another league. 😅

I designed it (SEI Camo) and you can order it from Lucid Wraps in Denver Colorado
Wheel spacers can wear out the wheel bearings over time, so I will pass on those. I do like the springs, though.
What lens is this shot with?
15-35 / 24-70 go pros and even a point and shoot.
Im torn between supra mt or rs5
my goal.
That year felt like 3 weeks 😅
Seriously 😳
Exactly " Are you even a real car enthusiast" IVe owned a M3, toyotas, I have the GTR 35 I owned a s2000, motorcycles, And I plan on buying another M3 later on, I like cars the drive well, I dont stick to one brand. When I heard BMW was calabing with Toyota I thought that was a awesome thing, its not the first time Germany and Japan joined together.
I just sold my 22 Supra premium. She was fun but I sold because man the value crashed bad. Got the new tundra limited with the xp.
Automatic cars like the Supra will never hold value like MTs
The next Supra needs to be a TOYOTA ONLY machine
If the rumors on the SupraMKV forums are right, it will be. But it will also be much more expensive without the BMW collab.
@@Barbwire710LMFAO. No.
What? Like the 86? The next Supra will be electric.. like everything else.
@@paulmoons not everything is moving to full electric. The next 86 and Supra are still rumored to have an engine..no idea what you’re talking about.
@@Barbwire710I hope you aren't referring to the Best Car rumors which also suggest the mythical GRMN will have an S58 in it. It won't by the way. Anyone who has half a brain (and is following Supra development) knows this is 100% fake news. As for electrification, governments worldwide are clamping down on ICE regulations.. the time of the manual, rear wheel drive, ICE sports car are numbered.
Once I pay off my GR86, Im getting a Supra.
I paid off my GR86, and don’t think the Supra/Z4 are direct replacements for the driving experience you get with the twins.
All I can say is test drive one first if you haven’t already..the Supra is definitely much faster/cooler looking to normal people, but much more insulated with worse visibility.
Dude, that is deer creek - ill dm you.
I'd probably lay back my golf bag on the passengers side.
Damn now I want a manual Supra 😂
I’ll throw ya the keys to this when you make it out to Colorado 🤘🏼
I may be wrong, but I thought our cars didn’t have adaptive cruise when they have a manual?
MT doesn’t come with adaptive cruise. Unless yours is an anomaly. Nice review.
AT does come with adaptive cruise tho.
there is no adroid auto btw :(
How does your manual have adaptive cruise control my 2024 3.0 mt doesn't have it, I thought you lose that option when choosing a manual.
Never heard of an Odb2 port! Lol I'm sure he just misspoke.....I hope! 😂
OBD-2*
Beautiful 🤩😍 car 🫡
You know if Toyota would have called this the new Celica, then NOBODY would have cared....but the fact that they called this a Supra, and it was suppose to be a replacement for the iconic Mark 4 supra is a travesty in many enthusiast's minds....including mine!
Celicas are rad and if they brought them back I’d probably drive one.
Dawg… it’s not safe for YOU to turn your car on in an enclosed garage (unless it’s a massive garage)… The exhaust fumes are not good for your health & home.
Brah but that wrap is kinda crazy. I mean come on, right?
It’s part of his Company branding. Its theme kind of matches his Tacoma too.
What im hearing about the features included with the manual: Its not actually a manual. Its a "reach down and pretend ur changing gear" but we will take care of the rest. How can it be called a real manual if there is automatic rev matching? Makes zero sense
Which can be disabled… you must have skipped that whole part or you have selective hearing.
@@TalonSei I had to leave mid video bc I farted so nasty the room became unbearable
Why are we readdressing the bmw aspect of this car. Dude it’s been beat to death and death and death. Please stop ffs.
Not my taste for the cosmetics but it's definitely a great car
If Toyota make MK5 Supra by their own it'll be FAILURE, look at LFA, they made everything from scratch witht the result of overpriced price tag compared to competitor
Lol hate its a bmw on the inside and the engine outside has looks, like the supra dont get my wrong the new is cool but its has nothing on the original. No matter what they do to it. u get in and think bmw and im more amg fan than a bmw fan the original amg not the new one they used to be hand made and now everything is built on a machine i get it has more hp and torque than the original but u keep trying to justify the car to make your purchase feel better i get it lol some people are just more down with new tech vs having to drop a engine into something and put all this money into it. Not that your not putting money into the new one but u out both togther and line them up and have maximum capabilities than id still choose the older generation its way more sexier if thats a word 😂😂😂 cool car but in my opinion a waste of money 😅 depending on who your talking to. Dont get me wrong cool car just has nothing on the older....nothing
So not a car enthusiast… got it 👍🏼😂
You realise that a stock MKIV is slower in a straight line than a stock 2024 86 right. Go take your meds.
Love Toyotas but this is much more BMW.
as a 2023 GR86 owner, I’m gonna have to slightly disagree that the Supra is more fun to drive (granted I test drove a used 2.0 with automatic, my 86 is a manual) but it’s def a beautiful car. if later down the line Toyota makes a next gen Supra with a Boxer engine OR the GR Corolla engine, I’d be more inclined to buy one. it just feels weird driving a Japanese coupe with a German engine in it
Hahah.. The 2.0 Supra is an 86 with a better body.. and faster. And the 2.0 has nothing on the 3.0. Why would they regress to a Boxer engine that is far far inferior to the B58? 86 owners are in another league. 😅
@@paulmoons numbers don’t lie. Toyota sold A LOT more 86s than 2.0 Supras in 2023 (they only sold 2652 Supras overall, huge drop from 4952 in 2022) and it will very likely happen again this year
@@infam0usPYou're right, numbers don't lie: The 86 is A LOT slower than even the 2.0 Supra. The 86 is also A LOT cheaper than even the 2.0 Supra. Thank god Toyota didn't see it fit to sell the 2.0 in my country!
@@paulmoons and that slower car outsells the Supra by several thousand more globally lmao. spin it however you want, your denial is hilarious
@@infam0usPHahaha.. So it might come as a surprise that cooking model Camrys or Corollas outsell the 86? But you're right.. the 86 also outsold the SF90 Stradale, so the 86 must be a better car. 😂Thank-you for confirming that not only is 86 a car model designation, but also a rudimentary indication of a driver's IQ. 💁♂
