The Central Florida sun beat down, a true testament to the "dog days" of summer. Despite the heat, the trails were buzzing with activity. We started our 34-mile journey early from Altamonte Springs, joining a wave of fellow cyclists and dog walkers. The route meandered through Wekiva and Longwood, offering a scenic peek at Lake Mary before your return trip. By conquering the miles in the morning, we outsmarted the afternoon heat and potential thunderstorms, making for a strategic and enjoyable summer ride.
