The return of Professor Professorson! The greatest straight man on the show.
It was originally Professorberg, but his family changed it when fleeing from the Nazis.
Isn’t that Woolley from Night School?
@@kharonhaden5136 i agree. it's the worst place anyone could be in... only at night.
As a French person, I can confirm that the subtitles of the song were very accurate! And it was probably a made-up song specifically for that gag because the person singing it definitely wasn't French, they had an accent.
@Taimur Ali Khan Such a gratuitous attack! Especially in response to the French song discussion. It's your right to not like Marketa but reverting to insults, why?!
C’est correct!
Lmaoo what did Marketta do
I can't find the information any more, but years ago I found out that the person singing the song is actually a famous French singer. I can find people saying Soko, but can't find any confirmation of it.
@@7rollface Oooooh ... than maybe! I don't know Soko very well. I just assumed the person wasn't French because they didn't sound really fluent but if I think about it I know a bunch of French singers with accents from their native country. So yeah don't mind me I was just assuming but I don't know.
Abed as Nic Cage is one of my favorite things in this entire show lol.
Man, going back and watching these you can really tell Dan Harmon’s writing brought so much life and energy to Community, season 4 wasn’t terrible but holy crap can you tell the difference this season
Season 4 was fucking terrible
season 4 wasn't bad, but this episode alone showed you what was missing from season 4.. MADNESS! lol
@@Jeremy-jm3fe Not terrible, but lacking some energy and creativity.
Season 4 was bad, but with Community standard bad, which is still better than some bad seasons of good TV shows.
Season 4 lacks the incredibly witty dialogue and coherent stories with good character utilization. Harmon knows what Community is really about and season 4 proved that only he could run the show.
Oh man i forgot how good this episode was...
Jonathon Banks is so phenomenal in this. In one season, he becomes one of my favorite characters from the whole show.
Jeremiah VanderHelm I love hicky so much! And why does he always carry rope??? Lol
i love how pat is just quietly enjoying the episode with a cute smile on his face.
What a precious man.
Pat just stares at the screen without speaking much in every reaction lol
My favorite Nic Cage interaction in a movie:
"Hey pal, ever heard of a line?"
"Hey have you ever been dragged to the sidewalk and beaten till you PISSED... BLOOD!"
Best actor of all time.
I just love how lively you all are afterwards in talking about your thoughts. The constant laughing throughout the episode gave you so much energy, lol.
I will always crack up when fa...bulous Neil knocks over the bin to start the riot.
Such a nonchalant gesture, like, "Sure...let's riot." This approach may stem from the fact that Community had already "done the riot thing" in the end arc of season three (giving rise to the term "Greendale Seven"). So maybe they had that in mind and were looking for a different way in.
That Nick Cage scene was Improvised
When worlds collide...
I was so happy when Rana exclaimed "It's Pop Pop!"
This episode is where you realise how forgiving you were to season 4. It's hilarious.
Edit: I also love Rana's reaction when she realises she's watching Jonathan Banks as both Mike in Breaking Bad and now this! :D
jomo999 agreed, you don’t realise exactly what was missing in season 4 until you see this episode
And he is teaching Criminology...
@David Stephens I agree. It's ok, but the writing is just so much sharper in the Harmon seasons.
@@jomo999 not in 6
@@Chris-gu5lt Can't say I agree. I think the first 2 episodes of S5 are weaker than all episodes in S4.
The uncut of this next week will be amazing just to see you losing your mind at Abed's Cage-splosion
The first five episodes of season five were fantastic.
I love season 5 - Hickey is a great addition to the cast, and this season legit has at least two of my top 5 Community episodes of all time!
The Normies laughed more here than at any episode in season 4
Laughed more here than season 4 combined
Trying hard to shade season 4 when they clearly enjoyed it
@@Syndor12 Season 4 is enjoyable, it's just not as enjoyable.
@@bigfan1041 you don't need to shit on one season to praise the other. I know season 5 was better, but season 4 had some really great episodes, and most of the Normies said that they didn't notice a too big of a difference, despite comments such as this one trying to force their bias on them.
I was going to say that they can say there’s no difference between season 4 and the others but they never laughed this hard at any point during season 4 😂
And this, boys and girls, is why a lot of people disliked S4. Dan Harmon's style is just too noticeable. Without him there isn't Community. It would be just like if Harmon and Roiland would stop doing Rick and Morty and 2 different showrunners came in. Their style is what makes it so creatively great.
I guess... But season 4 was funny, enjoyable and made me laugh. I personally don't think it's necessary to shit on one season in order to praise another, but that's just me.
After getting through TBBT and How I Met Your Mother, season 4 of Community is still fairly good. Knowing its reputation, I was preparing myself for the worst before watching season 4 and it wasn't as bad as people pointed it out to be.
@@xXBlazingDragonXx1 EXACTLY, and that’s clearly what Dan Harmon himself did. Eventually so did his community fans. Dan even made community characters dissed about it. I can’t even- Once may be funny but too many times in the last two seasons was a little yikes for me.
@@samahita-vca never trust critics too much, people can get influenced very easily by rumours or unnecessary hates for a show/movie/person etc. I usually try to keep neutral and give every show I may be interested in a go. Life is full of surprises so why bother stopping yourself from watching a show which can potentially be your next fav. Just my opinion:)
@@HANBIN97 Yeah, that really bothered me too. It's gotten bad in Rick and Morty too IMO, which is especially weird because he's hating on the things he himself writes.
"I'm a sexy 🐱!" > Season 4
👍😂
"That was brilliant."
@@daedalus-prime That's my favorite part
4:10 I had the same reaction as Chris when I realised which episode this was.
Season four is good, but the other five seasons are GREAT. The sheer laughter in the last two episodes is proof of that Harmon magic.
No, season 6 isn’t great
The next 3 episode run is maybe my favourite 3 episode run of the entire series! Can't wait!
Ok, i think that its funny that Marketa in an orange tracksuit looks like an Italian mobster, except that she's pale AF and red hair color.
The Normies are proof Americans really do wear shoes in the house. I am so confused.
It varies from house to house, partly because there isn't really a specific cultural standard for that here. My mom wears her shoes in the house all the time because she lived on a farm and she was used to going inside and outside constantly, so she just kept them on. I don't wear shoes in the house because I didn't grow up on a farm, and I think it's both uncomfortable and unsanitary to wear shoes in the house all the time.
i dont get it. why would you wanna drag dirt into your house from your shoes?
@@ducksauce9187 I don't get how people are piles of disgustingness, but they think tracing in some dirt will make a big difference? Just don't put them on counters, and clean them if they have mud, and you'll be fine.
*the disgustingness wasn't a dig at you, I meant the world in general.
@@brandonchandlerMGnO Ok cHanDLeR! That's dirty regardless of how much you justify this. Some homeless person probably peed on the street, you walked over it and his/her pee is in your house now. Enjoy!
You know you're old when instead of learning excel in college you learned Lotus 123.
Am I the only one who thinks Jeff should’ve been the debate professor instead? It would’ve suited him perfectly. His ability to talk himself out of any situation is what made him a good lawyer.
Jeff should have introduced the ✓,✓+,✓- system just to screw with Annie.
whats that?
Prepare for major shuffling study group over the next few seasons. :)
can't wait for episode 8, app development. it's still a series high point for me, 5 seasons in
4:10 Chris realizing this is the Nick Cage episode 😆
God I love season 5 I'm gonna marry it
That translation of the song is accurate
@@matthewfortuna4464 Calm down.
Great Reaction guys!
Witness intimidation project!
ET TU, BRUTE?
“I’ve seen human heads used for other things than heads” seems like a possible direct reference to the opening episode of Better Call Saul
The Changnesia plot last season was AWFUL. They basically got rid of one of their best characters for the entire season.
I'm happy to see Chang back in action, just randomly walking around and commenting on what's going on.
I feel like we're so close to the end now 😭 I remember starting ep1
Edit: I forgot how hilarious this episode was. I laughed so hard with you guys
Top 10 episode of the whole show
Damn... RIP Leonard ✊🏾✌🏾🤘🏾
Cometh the Ass Crack Bandit in the next episode.
I don't understand why Dany Pudi is not in more things and getting oscars of his own
4:27 this scene is both funny and depressing at the same time
Harmon is back!!!
Banks and Brie were also on Breaking Bad/Mad Men at the same time as this.
Am I the only one that who sees that orange tracksuit and thinks of despicable Me
NEXT EPISODE!!
I love season 5
Love it
how did Marketa's hair grow so fast?
No lawyer memorizes the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. It’s Sam-Seaborne-overkill.
That's *LITERALLY* the kind of person Annie is.
Yeah it would be a monumental task.
Man Season 5 was hilarious.
Heh this was awesome
Looks like the season 4 hate brigade is back
11:42 - ...oh no. Abed's broken.
Rip me. I died of laughter. xD
I've always wondered why Alison Brie literally stopped wearing skirts on this show after season 4.
Pat looking like Jesus over there
You guys really are going to spoil Breaking Bad.
Now that I think about It Annie kinda looks and actlike Lydia from Breaking Bad, which makes her and Hickey's interaction more interesting
IT'S RIOT TIME!!!!!!!!!
Nick Cage movie you have to react to: Willy's Wonderland. It's pure Nick Cage
there's a video on youtube titled "greatest nicholas cage quotes and scenes", please react to that, you won't be disappointed
Have you ever looked up that duck named Jim?
HOW WAS ANYONE CLAIMING THAT S4 IS BETTER THAN S5?!
Because there's one thing s4 has that s5 doesn't: PIERCE.
@@horaciosi But wasn't he barely in Season 4?
Let Abed do Al Pacino's rage
Garrick has bean a student for five years?
It’s a long story. I’m graduating this December
Windtalkers is something how dare you abed nadir
How is Chang teaching math?
I believe the answer to be : Community College! ;p
I love how the changnesia plot was dropped right away. It far outstayed it’s welcome in season 4
Remember Math Club?
"They meant that to be in the episode or something". They really don't understand the end tags, do they?
This confuses me. The premise was that Jeff's bachelor's degree was less than legit, that's why the bar suspended him. Why then does he say here that he doesn't know law and can't teach it? Didn't he go to law school? How can he practice law and join a firm without a law degree?
He didn't go to law school or understand any law. He became successful lawyer by talking his way out (stupid, i know) because he's really good at it. Also, he's back at greendale because he doesn't wanna work at his old firm and became a bad guy again. instead, he was starting his own firm to help "the little guy" but that failed and he went bankrupt.
@@smitezer3240 that sounds far fetched. What law firm will hire a lawyer without a law degree? If he faked his law degree, he'd be going to prison, not community college.
@@lstsnwfll i suppose you're right lol. But don't try to find logic too much on this show. You'll have more fun
@@smitezer3240 oh don't get me wrong, i love community! this part just didn't make sense and i wonder what the writers were thinking.
Good season, actually great season. It just sucks that Donald Glover is only in the next three episodes. Not only that it really sucks that Dan Harmon considers him leaving as the death of the show Even though they finish out this season and then do a final one without him. As much of a great writer as he is, that really threw a wrench into the overall potential of this shows come back. And I'm a massive Donald Glover fan, but it is so disappointing that he felt like he couldn't finish out the season. It's a huge blemish on an otherwise amazing season that Rivals the first three but falls short because of his absence. Still great though.
I don't know why but the color palate for the later seasons just seems so dull. Everything just feels more drab. Is that just me?
That scene with Abed as Nicolas Cage made me cringe, not really into the 'Adam Sandler type of comedy', but the rest of the episode is great
My favorite Nic Cage interaction in a movie:

"Hey have you ever been dragged to the sidewalk and beaten till you PISSED... BLOOD!"
