Im also working on conditioning my handstand push up form. Currently max reps I can do for free HSPU is 5. With wall I can do 20 reps. Hope I manage to do free HSPU with clean form 10 reps at the end of this year. Feel free to watch my videos. I also post videos about calisthenics and bodyweight workout. Different movements. I personally got the straight arm press waaaaay before the HSPU so I’d recommend that. It will also give you more HS control for the HSPU. However, I’d train whoever you want most ;)

Hello! I’m really struggling with the bent arm progressions. I can’t hold the pike and I can’t kick up into a handstand to press up. Idk if it’s because I’m too scared and can’t commit or what, but do you have any tips?
I really appreciate the wisdom shared. I get so annoyed that I am somedays slamming them out with amazing form and another day I can’t even get one. I always let hs get into my head.

Wouldn’t you want to do the full range of motion first while you have full strength and then go into the negatives when you are more fatigued?
