Good luck in your yards. I live in the foothills and popular has just started blooming so we’re in the flow now also. Hopefully will be a good year . Look forward to your next videos.
WoW sounds like you have a great schedule. Ya people do not understand an also people sale the early bees an queens from the south for sure you do not want the early stock but they want want want to get started. My nectar is looking good. I have two supers in most of my hives an they are a little over half full an starting to cap off . Good luck . THANKS
Maybe pull up a couple of your outside frames from the middle box up into the middle of your third box to help draw the bees up. Yup drawing foundation has definitely been the most time consuming. I started beekeeping when you did and drawn comb is the most valuable resource in beekeeping for sure. Good luck with your bees this season.
I wish we were having the weather you're having an art we could do something with Our bees. they've been out a day or two here and there but more no more than two days in a row. Today is 49° extremely windy extremely rainy and not a bee anywhere. it's where a jacket so I can go out and put frames and boxes together cuz I had hooked to do a lot of expanding this year. I bet I'll be making Queens in August and trying to get them full of sugar water to make it through winter. I'm also extremely jealous of that pile of frames you have there the things limiting my ability to expand my apiary is the finances that I'm up able to dedicate to be equipment.
Looks like me using a 2 x10 for 6 frame ends and pallet wood for the sides. Takes time. I done better cutting with skill saw because of the difference in size pallet wood. Bees will fill in the gaps
