People Listen !! Napoleon knows the music industry. He been there. He is now telling us how Bad, Evil and Unhappy that industry really is. From my opinion.. If you Still listen to music or buy this stuff, then I can't help you...
i gave up music not long ago, i knew it was wrong, no matter what kind of music it was, it was hard at first, but literally forced myself to delete all of it off my computer, phone and youtube playlists, i feel relaxed now knowing that the devil cant get to me through music i listen to the Holy Quran and Nasheeds now, Alhamdulillah, they are beautiful
@dellbalboa And I know my last point might only reinforce your argument that it attaches into emotions, but we're naturally emotional beings and many of the good things which feed rationality and logic come out of our emotions. To deny it would be like being a Vulkan (if you've ever seen Star Trek).
@dellbalboa Music even all the way back to ancient times expressed the troubles of people and talked about real issues. Black slaves singing gospel, the anti-war music of the late 60's, et al. Look up Aristotle's works (which Islamic societies are often credited with preserving his works) and his defense of the arts in an ideal society (contrary to Plato). Some music is awful, but music can not only be a beautiful art form, but the most powerful expression of the emotions and issues of man.
@dellbalboa Agreed. Fantasies are so beautiful with music but they don't exactly happen in reality. Based on my experience, it's hard to interact with people while listening to them (music) -emotionally controlled that we don't find a rational and calm mind to respond to others especially when paying for something in a shop.
techno and trance i dont think its haram theres no vocals to it unlike most of the music talking about haram stuff, i listen to Quran verses and trance
@khalifahklothing okay i agree with the authenticity of the hadith now,but is it a major sin?i dont think so if it wasnt used to drink alcohol,fornication and illegal activities etc.
alhamdulela i stopped music .. it takes away from the path of allah .. (And of mankind is he who payeth for mere pastime of discourse, that he may mislead from Allah's way without knowledge, and maketh it the butt of mockery. @khalifahklothing i make techno and trance songs i never been to a club in my life but i guess thats what they listen to in clubs so it does have a haram connections i will try my best to put Islam songs ahead.
