You better believe it, she was being REAL humble when it came to Elton. She essentially took care of him when he didn't have food to eat she fed him. I read that in an interview she did back in the 90's so that reaction you saw her make with regard to Elton making it over her was indeed real😳

Whitney gave us the POP version of that song. In truth Clive Davis created Whitney's entire sound otherwise that song would have sounded entirely different had Whitney her way.

I was at Boy George's art show in Monaco! Boy was hilarious and so gracious to everyone. Prince Albert and Princess Charlene also showed up and were a lot of fun. Boy's artwork is amazing!

Wonderful to see that the Legend Ball brought Diana Ross & Patti LaBelle together and buddies, I wished that Gladys Knight would get over her hate towards Diana Ross. These women are strong and beautiful women, I love that you never hear from Diana Ross of her dislikes or disdain for other artists or to whom she's encountered in her successful career, speaking of which is still going strong (point in case) the recent announcement that she would perform in London the concerts sold out in 34 minutes, they added two additional shows for her 2020 tour. Diana Ross had four back-to-back #1 Dance Club songs on the Billboard charts and through it, all Diana Ross has remained true to her self of LOVE, FUN & POSITIVE ENERGY All those other artists have gone on or disappeared but one thing is true DIANA ROSS is here for us and we're here for her.

1:50..that part. Patti was one of many superstars on a tv program called "Motown: Celebrates the Apollo Theater's 50th Anniversary". Patti never sang on the Motown label, just to be clear. But the program was something that will never be done again, because it was a VERY long broadcast that had to be edited 50 different ways, in order to be nationally aired in a 3 hour format. Boy George was on the same program...and he was on the stage when Patti grabbed the microphone that Diana gave her. So, he had a POV that we didnt have. He sang with Luther Vandross and Stevie Wonder, on two separate songs.

Love them both since I was 5 years old and had that Apollo Anniversary on VHS (and both of their separate concerts!). She's the greatest female vocalist of all time, and Boy George wrote one of the greatest rock musicals of all time, Taboo. I love when I read George's book many years ago, and he talked so highly of Patti from 1985!
