Nice job man! This trial really ticks me off! Thanks for the help w/ this one. This is one of the hard ones if you're doing the time trials in order.
literally played this for 3 hours and couldnt get it
2 years later are you still on it ? curious to see if people gave up or finally passed that shit. You know you can pass when the total of all your best segments taken individually are under the 1'35. If that's never been the case, i guess you just can't do it.
Still trying now. 74 minutes in.

i really enjoy ur videos becuz the fact u made these routes for people to be able to just get there 3 stars. i mean these routes are pretty good actually but i can tell u went with the most basic route possible so everyone can hav a chance to beat them n not just the pros. thanks man
Nice. I am having a tough time in 3 places. The part jumping off the two pipes onto the slanted roof. Didn't think to lift the legs to get up there. Then after the first baggy. Most of the time I seem to not have the speed to leap up on the building quickly to have enough speed to jump to the next building. And then the scafolding and vents. Keep running into pipes. Just need practice on that part.
It's the one in the middle just before you go across those buildings I always miss.

that was insane, it took me over an hour to even get one star on that.
Was stuck on this level for 6 months. Beyond glad I finished

After about 4 hours trying it on and off I finally got it- 1:34:89. Dear god that was hard, I swear I broke the right bumper button on one of my pads getting it. Thanks for the great video! One main thing I did differently was, when reaching the pipe at 1:03 instead of just balancing over it after the initial jump, if you're timings great (or you're just really lucky) you can do a second jump from the pipe as your about to land. Saved me a crucial half second or so, but it was kind of lucky
nice, that little shortcut at the beginning was all I needed for the three stars.

I had the exact same problem until recently, but I managed to shave off two seconds.
What my problem turned out to be :
You know that big orange platform you fall down and land on?
I was only just making it when jumping onto the top of the next building from there, land further back on there, jump sooner and you not only get up there quicker and easier, it puts a spurt in your speed and Faith flies along for a bit..

Good god, you're technique are awesome! I'm trying to follow your path. I'm new to playing this game, and I'm having a hard time just qualifying.

+BenjaminoBest I've spent perhaps 6-8 hours on this level in the last two days. I had a part of the third stage not quite right, and as soon as I saw this I got three stars. I had the rest of the level so perfected by that point, it worked. Still, I was only half a second or so within three-star territory. It's a tricky level for sure.

@zoxovox They're probably using the side jump glitch, which gets you to top speed instantly.

Holy crap. Yeah, getting 3 stars on this one took nearly 5 hours thanks to me sucking at moving my camera slightly. You did a good job! I wouldn't have had the motivation to finish this one without this video. Don't forget to edit the title. It says "tree" instead of "three". I almost didn't see this video because of it. ;)
Nice run, and without all the lame glitches for instant speed.
I still need to shave a few seconds off my time and this has a few neat little tricks that should do it.
Pay a lot of attention to whether they coil at some point or not, and for speed-vaults. They can shave off many more seconds than you'd think.
Hm, this was identical to the method i was using and getting 1min 40 with.. it doesnt look any different to mine, except 5 seconds quicker. Not sure what more i can do, guess must be slower in some place, hell if i know where.
It's possible, just wallrun, turn around and jump, then do it again. Default key to turn around is Q on PC.

Beat me by a whole damn MINUTES! hahaha... thats awesome. I only started playin this today, and this vid opened my eyes to a whole new strategy. I've only been playin along the "beaten path" ...till now. jumpin off the ducts, I DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF THAT!

At 1:35, wall run kick off the wooden wall to the left and fall straight to the ground from that and you don't have to skill roll.
Played for 4 hours and couldn't get it, so I got 3 stars on 90% of the other trials and came back to this, suddenly it was easy as hell and got it in 3 tries with 1 second to spare.
I guess you just need practice with a lot of time trials first to know the game mechanics better

This time trial may be hard, but not nearly as hard as Playground 2. In order to get 3 stars in PG2, you need to successfully execute a technique that earns you a silver trophy (in the ps3 version). Playground 2 took me forever to 3 star.
How do you do the jumps at 1:15 on PC? Cant seem to do them.
At 0:37 you can do a wallrun-kick-jump of the AC unit to make the fall faster.

Yeah that's the part I meant, you nail the initial jump from the orange cushion to the next building, you save tons of time.

Tipp: Jump and coil to the half of that small thing and then slide that saves 1 or 2 seconds!!

Damn, was stuck on this forever but completed it right 1:32:39 fun to see how other people did it.
@SergioSource Once on the Office map, I needed 32:00 to win 2 stars, I got 32:00 exactly but only got 1 star. I was angry, but I bursted out in laughter instead. It was just too funny :P
To all of those saying that this speedrun is hard, try the factory time trial
In this tt I needed about 10 attempts and in the factory one i needed like 60
Man this was one challenging playground. It does takes practice that's for sure. Final time 01:33:41

this map is by far one of the most annoying maps I've played on. That and Atrium One. I struggled so hard on those two...

Hmm.. done this a dozen times, every score is between 1:40 and 1:39... same pattern. Very unsure how you are 4 seconds ahead.
doing the wallrun-kick glitch at 0:38 save you about a second or two. Then double jump straight on the pipe at 1:05 save you another 2 or 3 seconds. Also from 1:12 to the top of the building, his path is shit : go right of the yellow stairs to make a speed vault, wallrun the blue wall and jump to wallrun on the air vent, you gain speed, then also wallrun again before jumping on the second air vent to get more speed and avoid grabing the upper edge, you dont even need to coil.

@FearzLegacy I'm sure phelovepokemon is just up-set, and wants to out-bust his anger. Much like me! I was cursing God playing this trial. There is just too many spots you can mess up, and it's annoying seeing someone else play it so well.
after almost 2hours i got 1:34:69. I hate the last part where you have to climb up to the rope... you can basically get stuck everywhere at this part just because of those damn pipes. i got platinum about a year ago on ps3. i have more trouble doing it on 360 now because the 360 controler fells awkward after a while, especially the lb and rb buttons. but now i did it again :) 9 stars. by the way. when i did this on ps3, i think i used the videos of this guy as well.

I almost got 3 stars on PG2. I know how to get them but I never managed to execute all the moves perfecly ina row, the controlls r just too sloppy. thats what makes mirrors edge very frustrating. the move your talking about is pretty easy in my opinion. While inPG 3 I cant even really do the first jump thats why im checking this vid
1:36-39 .. so 39 milliseconds.... i've been doing this for so long. I just don't think i can do it. No different from this run, just isn't working. (for me)

Took me about 45 minutes to do.
Only 40? I tried this one maybe 120 times and I still can't reach that first jump.

BLAAARGH!!!! Just got this after 3! Hours! With 1:34:95! God damn, that has to be the worst trial ever.
I ran this exact fucking route before I even saw this video, I've ran it a few times and I'm always a fucking second too slow.

You can't do that if you're on a rope on the latest patch for PC.

thank god you don't need to 3 star all of them for the trophy (at least for the platinum, DLC you need all 3 stars). in fact you only need 2 3 stars, phew lol.

So maddening. I'll never get 3 stars. This made me not want to touch video games for a while. Too much squandered time.
Take heart knowing that the first jump is the hardest of the entire trial. Once you get that one down, it's just shaving milliseconds for the rest.
I feel it's the opposite. There's no room for error with 1000 ways to lose time, and this game loves being inconsistent. I'll never beat this.
lol im in the top 100 on this course :p look me up on the leaderboard i think im n0xu5 i think im number 60 :p when i originally got my time i was like number 9 though im kinda depressed im not in the top 10 anymore... lol
