    I wish one of Johnson’s 0-4-4 tanks had been preserved. They actually did try to put one aside at Crewe in the 1920s (repainted in full MR livery and all), but unfortunately Stanier ordered it to be cut up. Sadly no further efforts were made and now they’re all gone.
