I always jump for Super-Shredder. Out of all his 3 attacks, 2 of them are mid and low, leaving only a 1/3 propability of interception. Granted, it's not like you're necessarilly safe from the green Hadouken in the air, but then again, you're not any more safe from it coming up from the ground either. Alongside that, the fire-wave has you do the "My toe!" animation, not only leaving you vulnerable to the arms of death, but also wastes your time, effectively skipping 1 window of attack. I just find the freezing wastes less of your time and is overall less likely to hit, because it's aim is really steap and just barely leaves a window for attack from directly above.
I may be speaking from Turtles in Time experience, but whenever I fight Super Shredder, I generally go in with jump kicks, so the red and green flares are my signs to attack. Also in Turtles in Time, if you manage to kill Super Shredder without taking any damage (this also means no use of the super moves, since they drain health), you get a bonus of 80 points to your score. I've managed to do that at least three times, though I imagine there's someone else who's more consistent than I.

Yep, the new Bay Turtles movie is gonna have Krang w/ his human(?) robot suit. From what I've seen of the movie it looks promising, but I'm not gonna hold my breath since I didn't like any of the Transformers movies or even the first turtles movie. Also the '80s turtles recently crossed over with the currently airing Nickelodeon turtles. It was pretty good and strange seeing as when the '80s turtles enter the current turtles dimension they shift to using 3D models. Also it's so strange hearing Rob Paulsen voice both '80s Raphael and current Donatello.
I swear, the Super Shredder armour in this game reminds me of Dialga somehow... I'm not gonna be surprised if it turns out that's where Game Freak got the idea from lol.

It's a shame; if the Jem movie had simply been not a Jem movie, it sounds like it would've been much better received. Especially since it loved the audience as much as Johnny's uncle claimed. I understand that you shouldn't try to adapt something across mediums one-for-one, but you still gotta try to adapt it in such a way that it is recognizable beyond just the title.
I really hope they do the TMNT game that was based off of the 2003 series. That was pretty solid game. I guess from there go to Battle Nexus but that one was kinda meh. It had a lot going on in it so there's that.

I just figured it out: Super Shredder is incredibly similar to the final Knuckles battle with Super Mecha Sonic in Sonic and Knuckles.
